I went there and got a renters policy. It was cheaper than what my apartment complex was charging for the liability only. I was able to also insure my contents. I got the AAA membership which included towing, travel discounts and information about fun things to do in the area since I just moved here. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I had AAA in another state. Best insurance agency I strongly felt. I moved to this state and naturally went to AAA again for my car insurance. I spoke with an Agent, agreed on $289 a month for full coverage. I paid the full amount and initial starting policy fees. Later, I received three different letters on the same day. One letter stating I owe $370 a month. WTH, I'm thinking. Then I get another letter stating I owe $69 and some change. The last letter stated my policy was ending April 29th. AAA canceled my policy abruptly. I called the AAA office to inquire. It turns out that because I was involved in two separate accidents in February, I am deemed high-risk. I was not at fault in either accident, and AAA knows that. Then I get a call from another agent at the AAA office stating he can reinstate my insurance for $500.13 a month. I was irate at this point, believing AAA at this office to be corrupt and scammers. I denied them and ended the call peacefully. I signed with another insurance company. That company called AAA to ensure I was no longer insured with them. The AAA Agent stated my policy was canceled on April 14th. That statement contradicts the letter I received. Then the Agent says I still owe $69+ on the policy. How can that be I asked. I didn't cancel the policy, they did. He didn't know why and would get back to me. Reading this, AAA may work for you. All I am saying is beware of my situation so you don't fall into the same trap. read more

I'm a AAA customer of 20 years+, most of them in California (there's no national AAA insurance, so your results will vary). That said, this location is basically a black hole of communications. I've been trying for weeks to give them more money and you'd think that's all a business would want but they will send you to email if you show up in person and then you can email them all effing day and nobody will respond to you. If you do get somebody in person to help, it's only partially accomplished: After several unanswered emails and two trips in person, half my request is done but for the rest it's "I can't do that and somebody will call you" and then nobody calls. In a nutshell, I am not blaming individual employees who did actually respond or help me, I'm blaming management and the company -- their yestertech is getting in the way of business. If the employee can't get functional services, of course they can't help me. But then I look online during a business day to see if my one successful interaction reflects results online (basically: prove it worked) and their website errors out and goes offline with the policy viewer. Whoops. So after 20 years, I'm shopping elsewhere. California AAA was awesome, this local office fails at basic commerce. read more

I've spent hours and hours on calls trying to make sure that my payments are all in the right place and that i have autopay enabled. Just a bunch of idiots that have no idea what they are doing. The worst AAA I ever had to deal with is right here in Texas. Stay away from them. If I could leave not zero, but negative stars, I would. I just got off the phone with the rudest AAA agent I have ever come across in my life. He was arrogant and constantly interrupted me while I was trying to explain my situation. He is telling me that I will not get a refund for the payment that was automatically taken from my bank when I got new coverage with a new company on the same day. I had double coverage for a week because no one from AAA got back to me and I was finally able to speak to someone on the phone today. AAA's prices are outrageous, and unfortunately, I had to keep them for five more months due to being unable to get coverage elsewhere for my son. What a useless existence! I went in, policy papers in hand, to ask some questions about my coverage and billings and to request some changes to my policy. I've previously had some trouble reaching agents via email so I wanted to talk to someone in person. The agent at this location grabbed a pen and circled a 1-800 number at the bottom of my policy document and told me I'd have to call. He stopped just short of telling me "good luck". I literally asked, "What do you do here?" And the agent's response was that they don't have the expertise to make coverage changes at that location and again told me I would have to call. I think this place is good at helping old people with travel like for cruises and such, but if you have real insurance business to handle, this place is useless. I ended up calling later in the day and after 1.5hrs on the phone and two agents later, my policy issues were still not resolved and I still had questions that the agent was not able to answer for me. The people who work for AAA, either at the local locations or on the phone, just completely lack expertise when you need it. I have been trying to renew my policy for 4-days now, since last Thursday...still, with no result. How many Agents do I really need to go through in order to get answers. My annual policy expires on Wednesday, 27th, so I thought I had plenty of time to renew...WRONG!! I paid, last year, for a one-year policy, as it's cheaper to do it that way. I have spoken with 6 "Live" Agents,this go 'round, to send me an email, both to my phone AND to my work email. As requested, I wanted to send a copy of my odometre, for additional discounts. What used to be a good deal isn't any longer. The welcome back "offers" you get in the mail have temporary cards that aren't actually usable, even if you go online to pay before needing their services. How did I find that out? By calling the local office. The cards are just a promotional gimmick to get you to sign up. You won't have a card for proof of membership. It was recommended that I come in and leave with an actual paper card (with plastic to follow in the mail later). So I went in to sign up. The agent I spoke with earlier in the day (Patrick) had left for his house closing, so I was assisted by Brandy. I upgraded from the basic "Classic" membership to the mid-tier "Plus" membership for their higher mileage towing benefit (100 vs. 7). I asked Brandy twice if my membership was fully active and in force, and she said yes both times. This morning, I went online to check my account and found that it had been placed on a 7 day hold before full activation. By the way, calling AAA other than 8a-6p for such issues is pointless, as only emergency services are available. Calling at 8:02a resulted in a 15 minute hold time before reaching an agent. To put the customer spin on what I was told, in reality I get 1 week of "Classic" (cheapest) membership and 51 weeks of "Plus" membership. The 7 day hold also meant I couldn't update my information without calling the agent. Also, they were unable to provide any assistance with an existing car rental that has an advertised AAA membership points bonus without referring me to the car rental agency. When I expressed my dissatisfaction about the situation and requested an escalation, the only thing I was offered was to talk to the car rental agency. Nothing offered about the flim-flam on the AAA alleged benefits. In my opinion, AAA Texas has gone from a valuable roadside assistance service to a creeper scam. I can't imagine what their actual service will be like, but I'd imagine it's like the worst reviews here. Find another way to get a roadside assistance plan. It's no wonder AAA has a "hiring" sign outside their office.There can't be much satisfaction in working for this company. P.S. The nice lady at the counter tried to find me a current folio with all AAA benefits. She found one that was from 2013, and knew it wasn't correct or current. She then found one from 2015. We have been AAA members for many years because of the roadside assistance benefit. Unfortunately, the times that we've needed it, they have definitely dropped the ball. There was an issue a few years ago with my college-aged daughter having a tire blow-out on the highway and it took over two hours to arrive. Now, my youngest daughter (also away in college) had a tire blow-out. When she called they told her they would be there in an hour. When 1 1/2 hrs passed, she called and they told her the driver was on his way. When she called back at 3 hours, they said they couldn't hear her and hung up. When I called for her, they said they just sent the request and it would be at least 45 min. We still have no assistance. DO NOT RELY ON THEM TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE FOR YOUR COLLEGE KIDS AWAY FROM HOME. There have to be better options. Update...six hours later and the driver never showed up, no call or any update from AAA. We're done. We are canceling our membership. read more

This company has really taken a nosedive. I've been a member for over 26 years and I'll be canceling this month. My first disappointment happened last month when it took AAA over an hour to have a tow company call and then they said due to policy, only 1 passenger. What good does this do me when I had my fiance and dog with me? I had to pay for another tow company, that by the way, showed up in 15 min and was happy to take my passengers. Today I needed another tow and AAA gave me an arrival time of 2:45, finally 3:45 no call no show. I call AAA wait on the line 40 minutes, they don't answer, but when I call and act like a new customer(more $ for them) , they pick up the phone right away. I asked where is the tow and why am I getting sent another driver that won't allow passengers? They say its due to Covid 19. I ask if they will pay for an Uber or Taxi, since most people have other passengers and they said no. This service has become of no use, they make you wait long hours for roadside help and then they won't even answer the phone. Good luck if you're stuck in a harsh climate, have a pet or other people with you, muchless if your stuck somewhere at night and all alone! read more

God forbid you travel when other people do, such as holidays, because if you need help then they will explain that "due to a high call volume . . . " which means they are unprepared when the totally predictable thing happens - they should say instead: "holiday weekends are busy and you are a fool to expect anything like good service today." And if you drive in Texas, chances are very good that any problem will occur outside a city. I had a flat tire in East Texas limped to a store in a little town, called AAA, talked to a human after refusing the terrible automated system, and was told that "Mike's Wrecker" will be there in about an hour and a half. It's HOT - the kind of hot that kills people. An hour and a half? Uh huh. After an hour an a half and no Mike I called back, was then informed that Mike was not coming and they were looking for someone else, after which they would give me an ETA. I said it would have been nice for them to tell me that, through their vaunted message system. The woman agreed, said sorry. So - I've been waiting in 95 degree weather for two hours for no one. I got on Google Maps and found a guy who came in 20 minutes, fixed the tire problem, and when he showed up I canceled the AAA appointment. Guess they will put this in their plus column, not score it as a complaint because I canceled. Why do you suppose people cancel AAA appointments? Because they fixed their car problems themselves? Or because they gave up on that sorry sorry company and found an alternative. Oh, I see that the average customer rating on BBB is 1.04 out of 5 stars. It's that high because one is the lowest rating we can give. And they get an F grade from BBB. So I surmise that AAA is a crummy business to work for, and no wrecker with alternatives wants to take their calls. The guy I called said yes he has been busy BUT HE CAME IN 20 MINUTES! He had to drive probably 15 miles, charged $150 and was a total prince. I will definitely be researching roadside assistance companies and look at reviews. AAA SUCKS. After an hour, a live person finally answered and it was almost another hour before the tow truck driver showed up! This is not your grandmother's AAA! I've been a member for 12 years, that just ended today!!! Company has gone downhill to being useless!!! They Jacked my rates overnight 50%, because my car was hit in the Parking Lot Unattended. I made a claim under Uninsured Motorist. Only claim in 12 years, and they really expect me to pay them back for this claim after years of paying in??????????????? I have a Premiere AAA membership because I have a car that randomly drains the battery due to an undiagnosable power drain. being stranded can be dangerous! But I found out today that AAA only allows 4 requests for assistant in a year. A quick jump or a 100 mile tow - it's all the same. The outrageous part of this "request limit" is that they don't inform of it! Not until you're STUCK and then they tell you that they will now be charging you $90 to jump your car battery! Outrageous. This policy is NOT written anywhere obvious online. It took me a lot of searching to see it finally in TINY faint gray print on the very bottom of one of the pages. THIS IS DELIBERATE DECEPTION. When they're trying to SELL you a membership with all the benefits listed, there is nothing how stingy the limits are. I promptly went online to cancel my AAA membership - given that they are DECEPTIVE and a POOR RETURN FOR MY MONEY. I found out that while you can join online you cannot cancel online. Yeah, thanks for the additional hassle. So I called the phone # given to cancel only to be told that the "membership office" has short hours. "Call back when they're open..." So not only do they let you do a gazillion retakes on your passport photo... but they did not have the Europe book and map in stock that I wanted. The same nice guy said he would call a few places and get back to me. Next day I received a message that they found them in another city and were having them overnight shipped to their office for me. When I went in to retrieve the book and map, they also presented me with a customized "Intelliguide Report" for the cities/countries I was planning to visit. I never even asked for that. We ended up calling a local company instead, and they were there in 20 minutes. My car has been a pain recently and having AAA has saved me some money on towing and emergency assistance. I have the cheapest membership, whatever that is. I do not have their auto insurance. The good part: this weekend my car wouldn't start and the AAA tow guy came to Highland Mall within 20 minutes. The tow was fast and free, so that was great. However, when I told the tow guy that I wanted to take my car to Dura Tune, he recommended I bring it to Galaxy Auto or have a friend of his come out and fix it for cheaper. I didn't want to take any chances, so I just had him bring my car to Dura Tune after all. I didn't feel pressured, but I did think it was weird that the tow guy was pushing a certain repair shop. Also, a few years ago I waited over 2 hours for a AAA contractor to come unlock my car and then the guy showed up without the equipment he needed, so I had to call someone else. They save me money on the whole, but AAA is not always super fast or reliable. Get it if you think your car will ever need to be towed, or if you want discounts on Amtrak or airline miles -- they have partnerships for all those things. read more

My experience was very disappointing. I used the app to schedule an appointment at 9:40am. They indicated someone would be in an hour or so. No one came so I contacted them. They gave me the number of the vendor who was supposed to come. They said they were on the way. By noon, I tried again to talk to vendor. He said the tech would call me. Let's take a vacation. AAA has all the maps and all the books and all the people helping you do anything you might want that has to do with travel. I sat and waited patiently while my sister-in-law browsed books picked up books and looked at the counter and really enjoyed the travel pop-up books for kids period while I'm sitting there I can hear people booking cruises booking vacations booking hotels and just generally getting ready to have a good time somewhere. For me we got a tour book of Houston so we could find a few more goodies as we continue our trip across the Southwest and the giant loop around Texas. Called for a tow yesterday at 2:00 pm. After waiting an hour and a half I called the wrecker company that they sent out and was told it would be another 45 minutes. I got upset because I'm a disabled female Veteran and was in severe pain having sat there that long. He told me the world didn't revolve around me and if I didn't like it, he would cancel the tow. It seems he has problems dealing with women, I'm not the first. However, when I tried to call AAA about the problem, they would not even answer my call. It went straight to hold and I never got an answer. My husband called and they answered immediately. I have been with AAA for 15 years, and I'm suddenly getting treated like crap? I have been with AAA for over 5 years. I have purchased all my batteries from them to ensure I can get the service. We use them for all towing and just a piece of mind when traveling. Up to this point the service has been great. Until now! I had a battery fail that I purchased from them. I called at aprox 3pm to get a battery replacement. Went through the traditional steps and was told I would be dispatched someone who would come out and test it and if bad replace it. Well someone showed up about 2 hours later, tested the battery, confirmed it was dead and under warranty....but had no batteries. So on to #2. Called back, told them what happened, and that I had to have someone come back later in the evening because I had to head back to work. They said no problem and would set a window of 6-7pm. Fine, about 30 mins later I get a call from a service man who is at my house ready to replace the battery. I am not there, so now the guy has to leave because I am not there and I have to start over..sooo I call again, schedule a service, for asap which is 2 hours. I am waiting for the next service guy and he calls after 90 mins and says he does not have a battery for my Toyota. So now I have to call back again. The CSR tries to book me with the same guy who just called and said he did not have a battery. I tell them he just called and I need a different service tech who actually has my battery. She schedules it and says 90 mins. Ok I am waiting, 90 mins goes by...nothing. I call back, no service call is in the system. So now I am pissed. It is almost 830, I ask to talk to the manager. ON HOLD I GO! I also need to get a battery so I can go to work the next day. So while I am on hold I drive to Walmart, get the battery, pay for the battery, drive home with the battery and install the battery ALL WHILE ON HOLD. The "manager" finally gets on the phone. I tell her this entire story and she says all she can do is send a reimbursement form. WHATEVER! I tell her that not only is AAA going to pay for my battery, they are also going to pay for 2 years of my membership or I am going to but a negative review on Yelp for a full 365 days. Getting maps from AAA is as easy as pie. The folks there were universally helpful, quick to get the maps, and all around just fun in a professional way. Sadly, the maps aren't nearly as good as they used to be; they are now "2 states per map," which doesn't actually work out all that well. Especially when the 2 states aren't the ones you actually need (one out of 2 on several of my maps). Looks like AAA's doing some cost savings. Too bad they didn't get this one right. read more

Put me on auto renew without EVER asking me or mentioning it or putting it in any printed materials. Then, would not refund me the second membership charge which I never agreed to. If you want to be tricked and swindled and unexpectedly have $60 debited from your account and then have to spend half an hour on the phone to find out what it is, only to be treated rudely and get no refund, then yeah. You should totally sign up. Oh and also, if you call for help, you can expect it to come like three hours later. The part of the company located in the north west is not nearly this bad. I highly recommend contacting your local AAA office to make travel plans. I recently had to drive cross country from Texas to New Hampshire. Although the internet and google maps are helpful getting a ballpark idea planning a trip, I had specific needs that I didn't want to leave to random online booking - as we know how unpredictable results from the internet can be... I was traveling with 2 large dogs, so not only did I need pet friendly hotels, but ones that allowed large breeds. I also didn't want to incur pet fees and needed the hotels to be right off my route since I didn't want to add many miles to my already long trip. The Austin AAA agent was not only courteous but extremely patient with finding the perfect solutions - in fact travel went as smoothly as possible for such a long trip. Then, when I had to return to Texas from New Hampshire, again, I contacted the local AAA New Hampshire office. One of my main concerns for the trip back was hitting bad weather and driving conditions since it was December and my original route would have taken me through the Midwest lakes region (Buffalo in the winter...not a good idea!). They immediately knew the right alternate route to take to avoid the stormy blizzards and weather I may have hit by taking my original route, booked the tough to find hotel reservations, and got the whole trip planned quickly and efficiently. I can't thank AAA Travel enough for getting me and my dogs safely across 4,000 miles of the country. read more

So my family and I have had AAA for years and have only actually used their services 2-3 times so I don't know if we have really saved or wasted $$ in the long run but whatever. A few months ago I let someone borrow my car and the transmission went out. I called AAA, told them the location which was kinda out in the middle of nowhere between Austin and New Braunfels. 5 minutes later I get a call from a tow truck driver who happens the know exactly where the car is because he lives just down the street and can be there in 5 min. Great! Right? No. Then he proceeds to tell me that the info he received from AAA states that a full bed tow truck in required not just the kind that lift the front and leaves the back tires on the road. He doesn't have the right kind of truck. This means that the tow request must be sent back to AAA and then sent out to someone who has the right truck. I call AAA back, tell them and they inform me it will take an additional 30-45 min.. 1.5 hours later someone shows up. All in all my poor friend is stuck out in the middle of nowhere for over 3hours. Yesterday, I decide to take my boyfriend to Fiesta Texas. I find out that AAA members can get a pretty decent discount on tickets if they buy thru the AAA website. So I go thru the process, find the tickets, enter my info, enter my discover card info (because the site also says I can get more perks by using my discover card) and hit "buy". An Error msg pops up. Basically saying that discover isn't verifying my address and to call discover which I do. Discover says everything is fine, they have approved the transaction and my address is correct. The issue is that the AAA system isn't sending a $ amount to charge. Back to AAA! They DO NOT provide a phone # for tech support/website support. I call every other number I can find and get automated msgs that their office is closed. Finally I call the number for requesting a tow truck. They are as helpful as possible but basically they aren't provided with a phone # for tech support either. She apologizes and recommends I try to process my payment again later and/or call a different department the next day. I end up sending an email msg thru the site to "online customer support" Today, the system still wouldn't process my payment. I call "member services", again the employee I talk to is very nice and helpful but is unable to get in contact with the correct department. Basically he called them multiple times and they never answered. He left and msg and suggested that I send a msg thru the "online support system" (which I had done yesterday) he said they usually reply within a few hours. I told him I had already done that and it's already been 24 hours. Poor guy didn't know what to say so I let him off the phone and now I'm writing this. Called for service with a dead battery. The service that eventually shows up to help with the battery does not even have jumper cables. They cannot start the car. We then have to wait two more hours for a tow. Home at 1 a.m. Car is towed to another AAA service who claim to only have a high end, rip off level battery available to get us going. Battery costs about double if we had simply gotten a jump and gone to any reasonable service to replace it. AAA's response to this is to not charge us for the service call. When we asked for a break on membership due to all the out of pocket expense as a result of non-functioning service, they said not charging us for that service was their response. For the size of this business, they provide an excellent service. Great system is in place, but there is still a room for improvement. Like knowing if the battery needed is in inventory before 2 different service providers actually come out and waste time just to tell me they don't have what's needed. My experience with Triple A was quick, easy, painless... AND I'm now paying about half of what my previous insurer was charging. Loren will work his hardest to get you the best deal while understanding the coverage that you want/need. I never felt pressured to make a decision right away. Worst treatment ever. No service provided. Waited 2 days with the anticipation that the tow truck would still arrive. I have been a member of AAA since I can remember. 40 years? I called AAA early morning on a Saturday to get a tow truck to transport my vehicle to a repair shop that set me up for a diagnostic appointment that afternoon. I was sent a link to track the status of the tow truck. Expecting the arrival about 11:00am , and about an hour later, i get a call on my phone from a different area code. I answer since I know that it could possibly be the tow truck driver. I kept saying hello, hello, hello... no one on the other end would answer. I kept checking my app for the tow truck arrival and the time kept getting pushed out. Needless to say, I missed my diagnostic appointment at the repair shop. The next available wasn't until a week away. I called AAA to find out what happened to the tow truck. They called the driver, and get this...HE LIED and said that I refused his service. What the hill. i said that I had received a call but no one would answer on the other end. The company was STORM TOWING. LOOK THEM UP ON YELP. THEIR RATING IS REALLY BAD. SIMILAR COMPLAINTS BY SEVERAL PEOPLE. Come to find out this company does this all the time because if the client refuses their service, THEY STILL GET PAID. WHAT THE F? AAA needs to fire these people. But then again AAA is terrible! They reassigned my case again, BUT TO THE SAME STORM TOWING COMPANY. WTF??? AGAIN??? The second day rolls around and still no service. I had to call my auto insurance company. Luckily, i had taken out road side assistance with them as well. I HAD A TOW TRUCK SHOW UP WITHIN 30 MINUTES OF CALLING MY AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY! After reading all the negative reviews about towing with AAA, I was full expecting to wait several hrs for a tow truck this morning, but was pleasantly surprised how quickly (about 40 minutes) they showed up. And it was the morning rush hr in Austin, TX. The tow-truck driver, Paul, was superb. Very professional and did some incredible driving backing my van into a tight spot at the shop and a tight 180 turn-around in a small parking lot when he picked me up. Paul, thank you for the world-class customer service. AAA, give that man a raise! read more

Allstate kept cranking our auto and home insurance rates up so we went shopping for insurance about 3 or 4 years ago. We have always had good service from AAA for roadside assistance, so when AAA Insurance came in with a good rate we went with them. Nasty surprises were in store! First red flag they insisted on sending someone to take pictures of the INSIDE of our home - really quite intrusive. Then a year or two later we get a letter threatening to cancel our policy because they saw a chain link dog run in our backyard - which they just assumed was for a dangerous dog. In other words, they like to spy on you as a customer, and make assumptions! I called and left a voice mail that this was a cage for chickens not vicious dogs - we would never put our dog in there. That voice mail slipped through the cracks on their end, and they went ahead and cancelled our umbrella policy - even though we have never had any insurance claims, and a perfect driving record. I will never use AAA for insurance ever again. read more

I'm a premium AAA member and broke down in a bad part of town at 1:00am. I had guys circling my car. I tried to appear as though the car was not broken and called AAA, desperate. They said someone would be there in an hour. I waited an hour, called back to find out when the guy was coming and was told that there was no record of my call. I had been sitting there, stranded and scared sh*tless for nothing! Since my phone was dying I asked them to call the police. They never showed, the police never showed, and a stranger helped me out. For $160 a year I cannot say enough BAD things about AAA. I want my money back! read more

Extremely disappointed with AAA and Armada Towing. They strictly use Armada towing that apparently employs drivers who get kickback$ from the shops they tow cars to. Our customer told them to take it directly to Eagle Transmission and they tried hard to convince them to take it to some place called Galaxy in Austin. Extremely unprofessional. read more

So, my flight lands at around 11:25pm on a Saturday night..I sleepily saunter from baggage claim over to my car, luggage in hand. I proceed to turn on my car, close the driver side door, walk around the car to put my suitcase in the passenger seat..I shut the door, locking myself outside of the car and everything I own inside the running car (keys, wallet, phone). I have a plane to catch at 6am and desperately need a good night of sleep...keep this in mind. OK! So, the obvious next step here is to locate someone with a phone, call AAA for some good ole "24 roadside assistance"...the woman on the phone asks me a series of questions pertaining to the issue at hand, my location etc. I repeatedly explain to her that I am in the covered parking at the Austin Bergstrom International Airport, level 2 row C. She asks me a couple more times to explain where I am, and I do. She then repeats back to me a couple of different crossroads where she thinks I might be located? Ok, whatever it takes, just help a girl out. She then tells me that a truck will come out and pop my lock at 12:54am (yes, her time quote was THAT specific). I hang up the phone at 12:00am. I wait.....and I wait...and pretty soon it is 1:30am and I'm laying down on the top of my car staring at the garage ceiling..twiddling my thumbs. I wait.... And wait..... And wait.... It's now 2am and there is no AAA truck in sight. The airport has emptied out. I pick up the emergency phone I find hiding in the back corner of the garage and proceed to call the airport. They connect me to the parking attendants who then call Poppa Locks. Poppa Locks was there in 20 minutes flat and my door was unlocked in under two minutes. So--I leave you with this dear reader: should you ever find yourself in need of roadside assistance and think hm... Maybe I should call AAA? Just walk home. read more

Avoid going to this AAA office! I had a terrible experience working with Bonnie on auto and renters insurance. She gave us a quote while we were in the office getting international driver's licenses. I was hesitant to switch coverage from our current provider, but Bonnie kept calling me to check in about the quote we received. After some time, she had a quote for us that was lower than our current rate with supposedly better coverage. One the phone, she insisted that I need to lock in this quote now and give her my credit card number. I warily did so without receiving any written information about my coverage. Two days later after charging my card, she emailed me the paperwork to sign. I then looked through the paperwork and realized that our auto insurance coverage in every category was significantly lower than we currently had, i.e., bodily injury, property damage liability, uninsured motorist bodily injury, personal injury protection. I am now waiting for a refund from them with the plan to keep our current coverage. I was told that they need to send me a check for a refund. I feel like I was taken advantage of by Bonnie. I do not know if this is their regular sales tactics to get new customers, but it is no way to do business. I highly recommend that you avoid going to this office! read more
