Came in for a hard gel mani pedi less than a week ago. ALL OF MY NAILS ARE LIFTED, so I came back for him to fix them and Jason charged me $35. I don't think I should have to pay twice for a service that wasn't done correctly the first time! Gel polish did not dry onto nails, seemed to dissipate/dissolve, nail tech (slow, not efficient) proceeded to attempt 4 layers, finally had to stop and leave! They charged me anyway, and asked for a tip. Once home, nail polish lifted off completely after 1 hour. I have been coming here regularly for at least a year, and Jason always does an excellent job. I get my acrylic nails balanced and gel polish on my toes (no pedi - I'm too ticklish!). Some additional things have been suggested over time but no one gave me any hassle if I said, "no thank you". If you have something specific you want, then get it! They aren't mind readers, after all. They may suggest something different, but if you aren't sure just say No! :-) Very clean salon and everyone is very pleasant and courteous. read more

I asked for a color and the lady told me her nail color would look better, so I went with that. She didn't even use the same color she had and told me this was better. Will never go back. She cut my cuticle and my nail color is terrible. read more

Keep your expectations low. Went in for mani-pedi. They didn't even soak my hands before providing the cuticle trimming and therefore the trimming was substandard, not neat and tidy as expected. They also added on services I did not request during the pedicure. They just performed the "additional cost services" as if it was expected and they did not divulge there would be an extra $30 cost for such. I did not find out there was a cost until time to pay. That is unacceptable. There needs to be transparency with your clients as to the cost with no surprises at time of checkout. Also, no list of services with pricing could be found. I felt like the guy at the cash register just made up the amount. Not how you want your customers to feel. This is the second time I have not had a happy ending at this salon. I will not go back. I can spend my $85 plus tip elsewhere. read more

Price is reasonable but Tech was not very nice. Pushed gel polish to the point of crazy. Painted toes completely wrong color couldn't tell no glasses. Moved my hands abruptly after polished and caused damage then told me all my fault. I hate my toe color. read more

While on vacation decided to grab a pedicure date with my sister. Saw a sign for $25 pedicures and decided to give it a shot. I have to say, it wasn't the most relaxing experience I've ever had. The chair that I was in didn't work so I wasn't able to fully relax. The water , Even though I told the person it was too cold, never actually got any warmer. The polish job looked great and a week later is still going strong. Note, they only take cash tips and do not want to put them on a credit card. read more

Went to Gel nails as I was visiting my mother for a week. Got a pedicure and by day 2 the polish has already chipped. I am 54 years old and in all the time I have had pedicures, I have never had chipped nails on day 2. The Manager, Chi Chi, said that that is normal and that is a lie. She would not make good on giving me my money back or at least partial credit. Floor was very dirty and towels that were used were all stained. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. read more

If you are looking for salon that is putting into place safety precautions during the pandemic... this salon is superior. That said, if you are looking for a powder dip manicure look further. I'm not sure this is their thing as the walls are covered with gel nail polish. I did call before I went, and they assured me they were able to do a dip. It took 1.5 hours to complete! I'm not thrilled with the final result, as I feel the person who did it is not that familiar with a powder dip manicure. read more

Horrible. Rude and filthy. Finger nails did not dry as the light in the mitts was not always on. So nails were rubbery. No toenail dryer so they got messed up as they did not even have foam flip flops to walk out. I did not ask to have toes done, they suggested and then fussed at me for not wearing proper shoes. What salon does not have nail dryers or flip flops? 2nd time here and 2nd time disappointed. There is a lovely salon down the street on Gasparilla near Noy's restaurant. Very posh and the same price. Comes highly recommended so I'm going to try there next. read more

Beware, I took my elderly mom here less than two months ago and it was $25 for a pedicure and it was good, but she went alone today and they charged her $40. She is elderly and weak so mom just paid it because she does not know how to fight back, but she was very upset. When she called them they told her the pedicure was $25, but they applied a $15 "Gel Protection" without her consent. They refused a refund. If you have a elderly parent, or friend who isn't totally with it don't let them go alone. read more
