I went in to have a gel pedicure. The girl cut my toe while trimming my nails. Not a nick but a pretty good cut. I told her I didn't need any gel until it healed. I was charged $42 plus tax for removing old gel and pedicure. If she had done gel, the cost would have been $10 more. She got no tip and I told them I would not be back. Very bad service. read more

The man they assigned me to kept messing up and adding globs to my nail. Then turned me over to the owner when I asked if he could file it down more evenly. He muttered something under his breath and walked away frustrated. Then the owner took over, wasn't filing down his globs, reprimanded me when I sheepishly pointed to the obvious deformity with "I'm not finished" and went on to tell me to wash my hands - one of my nails looked completely deformed. When I tried showing her...guess what she said? "That's the shape of your nail." Honestly, it's insulting. I told her, "I've come to you so many times and never complained. Don't dismiss what I'm saying." Honestly, a little humility would have gone a long way. Not that they care but, I won't return. read more

I love this nail salon. Normally I would just say they're all the same, but this one is really different. I've had a great experience every time I have gone and have been going frequently for the past 7 months. Also, I have had almost every nail tech do my nails and all are awesome! Some days when I go, they're very busy, other days not so much. Either way, I never have to wait. They're also very clean, which is a big deal for me, some places aren't clean at all. They are so friendly and funny, it's such a fun time when I'm in there. I'm moving about an hour away next month, and I'm seriously considering driving up just to get my nails down. Made the mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed here. Completely botched!!! Even after specifically stating I wanted to keep my length, shape, thickness and just needed it cleaned up. My brows look like distant cousins rather than sisters. After my eyebrow mutilation was over, she handed me the mirror and told me to fill in the spots that she messed up on with an eyebrow pencil. I went to several nail salons in the area and was disappointed every time. My nails were always crooked or too large. I wanted a nail technician who knew how to do them properly, without me having to constantly micro manage. I found it here. Mickey is the best technician. I will NEVER go here ever again. I was completely embarrassed and harassed the entire ONE HOUR I was there. For starters, they were belittling my career path that I have chosen to take which is unbelievably rude. Then they started trying to get me to join their pyramid scheme selling beauty products on social media. When I told them I was not interested in online marketing work,they harassed me even more for wanting to focus on my career path and saying I am not making money and that I don't want to be financially stable and that I am "too young" and will understand some day. Completely rude, made me very uncomfortable, so UNPROFESSIONAL. I left feeling attacked and I hope you take this review with serious consideration because I do not want this to happen to any other person. If I could give -10000 stars out of 5 I would have. I was visiting from out of town and looking for a good place for a pedicure. This shop is really clean and that is important to me. They have their tools in the individual sanitizer packets and take them out before they start working on your feet. Also, they have a huge plastic wrapper covering the bowl which I assume they change between each client. The shop was busy and workers were friendly. They offer you a drink if you would like. They got my mom and I right in as they had a ton of employees available. Only downside was end result - both of our polish was sloppy. But for a basic $22 pedicure, I didn't complain. I'm VERYYY picky with nails and have been struggling to find a nail place that I like in the area. Yes having a fancy looking new nail place is a bonus but I really just want to get a GOOD job done and love my nails, have a nice/friendly nail technician and of course, go to a clean place at least. And this place is that! No it's not the fanciest, there's definitely some new fancy ones in town but they're rude and stuck up, I don't like that. I don't want to come into a nail salon and feel uncomfortable or like I'm a burden to them for coming to get my nails done? Lol anyways at New nails, Mai (My?) did my nails and she was lovely! She did the best job I've ever had. I was so happy. She took her time, made them perfect. Didn't rush me at all and she was very friendly. I told her I'll be coming back to her from now on. I haven't tried anyone else there, so I can't say anyone's bad or good. But I just know she is amazing! read more

This place is wonderful! Everyone is so friendly--staff and customers! I had gone in alone but conversation flowed throughout the salon so I felt like I was among friends. The services were outstanding. I am very pleased with mani and pedi. As I had brought in my own polish, I was concerned about whether I could get a gel mani but they were able to match it! A big plus for me was that I felt no pressure to add to the services as you do in other salons. I look forward to returning! read more
