Total scam artists. My ex purchased a 2 carat solitaire engagement ring with 1 carat halo in white gold from Frank a number of years ago. He relied on the positive yelp reviews and Frank was nice so he thought he got a good deal. However, he did not get a GIA certificate. When I asked for an appraisal so I could get it insured, they were very flexible on the amount. After we broke up, I took the diamond and certificate back to Frank because I wanted to sell it and he said he could give me an amount in the low five figures which was a fraction of the value on the certificate. About a week later I said ok, then he said remember I told you that I could only keep it on consignment. My friend who was with me at the initial meeting is also an attorney and he absolutely never said that. I then took it to a reputable jeweler who said the quality was far below what was stated on the certificate but she would try to sell it. She kept it a couple of months but no one would buy it because of the low quality. I finally just had her make it into a necklace for my mom. The bottom line is that their business thrives because of people who are not very knowledgable about diamonds as they will take advantage of you, so buyer beware! read more

Frank was awful. Me and my girlfriend went on to their website, picked out exactly what we wanted, and when we got there, he had 2 diamonds to show us. TWO!! We made our appointment a week before and he could only come up with 2. Then he tried making an excuse that because we didn't confirm our appointment, his other sales person had the rest of the diamonds?? When we did confirm, they just sent us a confirmation email the night before. It didn't even make sense. Not to mention he was rude, impatient, constantly spoke over us, and literally while we were with him took a phone call.
