Yum!! I got the chicken sandwich and the chicken was very delicious. It was seasoned well and juicy. The fruit cup was also fresh which I loved. The prickly pear Bellini hit the spot!! Not too sweet. We sat at the bar for lunch and a couple drinks and there were so many bartenders checking in on us. My water cup was never empty! The vibes were THERE! So cute.

Great food and drink selections! Seated us quickly on a busy day and our server was super friendly. Loved the relaxed vibe and the fact that they keep one tv in the bar area, so it can feature the Cubs!

Unsurprisingly busy on a Saturday for brunch after our experience. We booked ahead and only had a short wait before our table was ready. The brunch menu was limited but had everything you would want. We tried: - Pastry Flight (Cinnamon Bun, Old Fashioned, & Coffee Cake) - Steak and Eggs - The Deluxe Bird w/truffle fries - FKG It was more than enough, would probably only order two pastries if we go again. Overall flavorful and no complaints.

Came here for brunch with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary. Gemini was so kind to write a special message on our menu which was such a lovely touch that we both adored! Unfortunately because the menu was paper we couldn't make it last through our meal to take home as a memory but we have a picture :) I would recommend potentially a harder stock paper just for those customized ones. We sat on the patio because we brought our dog. Very dog friendly spot - one of the managers came to play with him and give him water and a treat. Again.. nice touch! I do wish they had a bigger menu. I kind of wanted breakfast but nothing in their breakfast menu really called my name. The shrimp & grits are my usual go to at places but the bbq through me off. Instead we opted for the sandwiches - he got a burger & I got a chicken sandwich. He enjoyed his burger and my chicken sandwich was tasty - it has a nice honey glaze on it but i do wish it was crispier but I appreciate it being a good piece of chicken thigh. Overall solid place especially if you're making a day out of it and heading to the zoo which is just a 10min walk from here.

So personalized and so yummy! Went here to celebrate my engagement and had a couple incredible cocktails and yummy salad. Their mezcal drinks never fail to amaze me. Staff is excellent and always so kind.

Such a lovely spot for lunch, dinner, you name it. Their decor is beautiful inside and out. We really enjoyed everything! Tried the dishes below: Halibut: 5/5 - The halibut was perfectly cooked and generously doused in greens & pea shoots. The soubise at the bottom was creamy and dreamy. Parker House Rolls: 5/5 - Soft, warm & buttery. Loved the sprinkle of salt on top. The perfect appetizer. Buck's Cake: 5/5 - The perfect dessert to finish our meal. Indulgent, moist and their salted caramel brownie icecream is heavenly. Not to mention our waitress was so sweet. She came out at the perfect times and checked on us often to make sure everything was to our liking. Highly recommend Gemini to anyone!

I was really impressed with Gemini. We came here for my birthday and I'm so happy I did. The staff were extremely friendly immediately upon arrival and they were really attentive. They printed personalized menus that said happy birthday on them which was unexpected and really special. I would absolutely recommend doing the bottomless brunch because you get to choose from a wide variety of drinks. The food was good overall, but my one note would be that the breakfast potatoes were a bit tough to eat because they were a little over done. The vibe in here is so cozy. I'll definitely be coming back

Went here to celebrate a birthday and it was great! The food was delicious and the staff were extremely kind and the service was quick. Make sure to make a reservation! Only downside (in my opinion) is that some of the tables are really close together and we could hear the entire conversation of the people next to us. Otherwise this place was great, can't wait to try again!

I stopped by on Saturday 8/30/25, the location is great. It's a short walk from the lakefront and Lincoln Pk Zoo. It felt as if the whole neighborhood was out and about on this beautiful day. If people watching is your thing then it doesn't get much better than this in Lincoln Pk. However, if you are looking for a great meal, this is not the best choice in the area. I visited with family, we had a mixture of breakfast, brunch, and lunch. No one raved about any of the meals. My order was a simple one, a turkey club sandwich. The bread was only okay and cheap deli turkey was utilized. At a whooping price of $21 for a mediocre sandwich, at least serve me freshly roasted turkey on delicious bread within house made fresh mayo. I was surprised because this is one of the items that many raved about?

I got the steak and eggs - overall it was good and the service was quick and nice. They have inside and outdoor seating and the inside feels more of an upscale American vibe.

It was an okay experience at Gemini. My group had a reservation but it took an extra 15 minutes to get our table. At times we felt rushed with servers constantly coming up to take things away. Took a while to get drinks but they all tasted great. Highly recommend the truffle parm fries and Creme brûlée! Lots of dates and small groups at this restaurant. The menu looked good and they have specials each night.

I knew on my arrival that I'd love the aesthetics of this corner breakfast restaurant, and guess what, I did! Clean and crisp atmosphere with a gorgeous inside and an absolutely beautiful patio with flowers and vines coming from the sunshade frame (totally spacing on the name of those things right now lol). We sat outside, even with hot weather. Nice breeze happening so it was fine, but I like the heat so it's not what everyone would fancy. It was busy inside and out. Service was quick and friendly. Our server, Phillip, was very attentive and told us the daily omelette and popular items. I ordered the daily omelette and switched my side out for fruit. Everything was beautifully presented and on the weekends they offer 90-minute bottomless options for cocktails. I went with the Bloody Mary then had the server randomly select all of the others I ordered. Bloody Mary was a little too seasoned and "thick" at first but once it watered down, it was delicious. My favorite though, was the squirtsky. Except the name (TBD). Gold Rush was good but the bourbon boldness wasn't my fave. And then the Bellini is good for those who like bubbles - my stomach and palate at the moment wasn't cut out for that one. Clean and beautiful bathrooms and the stalls are fun to dance in when listening to the music in isolation Just a really good time to be had here even if I think Pisces would be a better name OH and the flippin ice was sooo ASMR lmaooo Oh and one other thing - one of the ladies I was with spilled something on her (Worcestershire sauce) and I made a comment asking if they had a Tide stick and they TOTALLY DID! So generous to share that with us to save her outfit. Excellent service!

Such a cute spot in Lincoln park! Went for brunch and the service was amazing. Very dog friendly and the food is delish. I had the coconut yogurt parfait and the flight of pastries and everything was excellent. Need to go back and try for dinner.

Highly recommend this wine for your Gemini meal.

It's a reasonably-priced busy dive bar in the heart of Chicago. I asked the bartender if she had a beer + shot deal and she said "no, but you can order a beer and shot." And so we did! Noise level is fairly high, thanks to a lively crowd plus a jukebox. They don't normally serve food but I think are fine with customers bringing in your own food, and you can also place an order from a nearby restaurant (I don't recall which one). And yes, it's cash only so bring some money if you don't want to pay ATM fees! 4 out of 5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact. I like bars that allow customers to bring (or order) their own food - it allows for all diets! The one thing I'd like to see is more beer on tap - even just one good rotating local beer (e.g., Goose Island). Draft beer has smaller environmental footprints compared to bottled or canned.

After a quick ID check at the door, the bouncer let us know it's cash only (thankfully we came prepared). From the moment we walked in, dim lighting, loud music, and shoulder-to-shoulder crowds gave the vibe of a full-on frat party, but not in a bad way. It's chaotic, energetic, and unapologetically no-frills. There's even a self-serve cooler with drink prices clearly listed underneath. I grabbed a Sapporo Premium, brought it to the counter, and our friendly bartender broke our change and offered a chilled glass to pour it into. Simple and efficient. That said, it was loud, so loud that even whispering-distance conversations were a struggle. The space is small, seating is limited, and since we couldn't snag a spot, we ended up leaving shortly after finishing our drinks. This feels like a better weekday hang than a packed weekend night. Still, if you're looking for a classic, gritty, no-frills dive experience, Rossi's delivers exactly that.

He's deeply involved in the beverage scene, and with a partner who is starting a mezcal company, they're always on the hunt for standout cocktail programs. This time, we ended up at Gus' Sip & Dip, located at 51 W. Hubbard St., Chicago, IL 60654. While we were there, a friend mentioned that Gus' Sip & Dip has been recognized among the top food and drink destinations in the country, and after my visit, I can absolutely see why. The atmosphere is fantastic, think modern speakeasy with a touch of 1940s charm. The space features rich green tones, cozy booths, and an intimate layout that works especially well for small groups. Larger parties can take advantage of some of the bigger tables throughout the space. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. Just be aware that this place is popular, so depending on when you visit, there may be a wait. As for the food and drinks, everything we tried was excellent. I didn't manage to get photos of everything, but a few highlights included the burger, the Italian beef dip, and the chicken pot pie. Every dish was flavorful and well executed. The cocktails were equally impressive, every drink I sampled was thoughtfully crafted and delicious. I would absolutely come back. The only thing worth noting is that it's a bit on the pricey side, but if you're looking for great food, exceptional drinks, and a memorable atmosphere, it's money well spent. If you have the budget and good company, Gus' Sip & Dip is a true gem in downtown Chicago. 5 out of 5 stars.
