    This dealership is by far the worst. First of all, it was a rush rush rush. Then, I offered an additional $5,000.00 if we didn't need a co-signer. The reply back was, "Let me check." Dustin never got back with us. We were asked, but by Scottie, if we had anyone that could co-sign. Again, nothing was mentioned about the additional $5,000.00 til we were finished signing the paperwork, which we didn't have it with us. We had to come up with the $5,000.00. Since nothing was mentioned about $5,000.00 and we had a co-signer, the $5,000.00 wasn't needed. Well, we were wrong Before we signed any paperwork, we had Michelle take us thru the walk thru outside and inside. (She wasn't very friendly) While we inspected the outside, there were no scratches or dents, and the fender flares were fully in tact, with no cracks or breaks. My husband heard a cluck and scratch on a white car that the porter hit the camper on. We don't know how the fender flares, and the opposite side got broken halfway off and cracks on the front half of the same side of the fender flare. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! NOW LOOKS LIKE WE BOUGHT A PIECE OF SHIT SITTING IN SOMEONE'S YARD THAT THEY HAD FOR SALE. General RV doesn't deserve a 1 rating. Unfortunately, that's the lowest you can give. We personally would give them a negative 5. BEWARE of any purchase from General RV!!! They only look out for themselves and the hell with the customer. After speaking with Renee from General RV's Cusomer Care, who I honestly thought and felt she was concerned with our issues, Turned out to be like every General RV employee and belied a bunch of bullshit lies from Tim, the Assistant Manager, and said the damage was caused by my husband and refused to fix the damage the our Travel Trailer. (Which was caused by the porter, Bobby, while he was pulling our truck with the travel trailer attached out from the back.) Have the guts to take responsibility for your own and employee actions. Don't make up lies and blame/accuse the buyer/customer

    My salesman John R. was incredible. I am in the process of becoming a full time RV-er and he was delicate in his approach to allow me to absorb the inventory of my price range and take my time to feel each new home. He respected my budget concerns, and he paired me to the excellent service department who helped me install a new inverter and lithium battery pack. Tim, one of the managers, and Dave Peterson in finance were INCREDIBLE. I'd like to say I stayed in budget, but I can honestly say that I purchased an RV I will love, the important and necessary upgrades, and warranties that will protect me and my assets along my journeys. Most important, for me anyway, was actually the reception team - and especially Ms. Foss. I don't know what it was about the welcoming committee of the Clarkston, MI office, but every one of them welcomed me warmly and had an excited interest in my business of the day. Ms. Foss specifically made me feel like I had a personal cheerleader as I begin my new adventure. Kindness and friendship like that is hard to buy, much less come by. Let the other reviews speak for themselves, I am happy I chose General RV of Clarkston, MI!

It took almost 3 weeks after that to actually finish the paperwork. I understand that we had a bit of a weird situation, however, the lack of communication is absolutely disrespectful and unprofessional. Not only were we constantly told that actions were going to take place (phone calls and/or paperwork sent for signing) that never happened, we also wasted multiple days sitting around waiting for someone to call us, which never happened. We did finish the deal, a month later... However, the most disgusting thing, was that we were told not to make the last payment on the fifth wheel because we were signing soon, and they'd pay it off before it was late. Well guess what? Almost three weeks after the deal closed and we got a call from the bank that they haven't received any payment, and a negative mark is now on our credit. I should have known better based on how poorly they treated us up to that point. Spoiler Alert - reached out the sales manager andhaven't heard anything back. Damage my credit for the next 5 to 7 years and I'll damage your business forever. Blue Compass isn't any different than Camping World or General RV. Avoid them all at all cost.

I understand that the kinks have to be worked out and some repairs may have to be done. We took it in for 1. bad seal in the toilet as it would not hold any water. 2. Bedroom closet doors would not close 3. Molding on floor of closet not put on 4. Closet panel bowing out 5. Black tar like substance throughout the 5th wheel 6. Kitchen sink all scratched up 7. Power panel loose. Screw out, slide out button loose. Even with all this I was not upset. Please just fix it. To shorten this review, from Nov 10-Feb. 27th they had the camper. During this time I had gone back four times (I live an hour away). They called and said it was done, I go there and it was not! Toilet still not fixed, black tar remained on floor, they stated it was part of the design! Power panel not finished and closet still not done! Finally the last call I received about it being done I had decided that if not done, I will take it elsewhere. So much more was said and very little done. I am now trying to get corporate to help with the extended warranty I purchased as the work will have to be done there and I WILL NOT LET THEM TOUCH MY CAMPER AGAIN! Funny story... Every number for the corporate office is leave a message only and they will get back to me. Do you want to take a guess if that has happened! BE Careful, CHOOSE THE DEARLSHIP WISELY.
