Very recently, my family retained Generations Plumbing Co. to replace our broken water heater. The morning we discovered it was leaking, I immediately searched Yelp for a highly rated plumber, which led me to phoning Alex Flores. During my initial call with Alex, he asked me several questions about the existing water heater and then provided a thorough explanation of the repair process. He then provided me with a quote and an appointment time for the same afternoon. Approximately a half hour prior to my appointment window, Alex phoned me to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival, he assessed the damage and again went over the repair process step-by-step. He was very knowledgeable about the entire process and I found him to be very personable and professional. Good work, but very high prices. Waited one day to be served because of good reviews. Was charged $175 to clear kitchen drain, and wanted $215 to install a 3-hole wide faucet. The $215 was because he was a perfectionist, and the job would take hours. I declined and had it done by a licensed plumber for $100. It took one hour total. Ads in mailer offer drain cleaning for about $50. read more

we were in town moving my wife's grandparents out of their house and getting it ready to sell. one of the things we had to do was put new toilets in after the new floor went in because lets face it nobody like 17 year old toilets in a house that has been completely gone through to put it on the market. i threw my back out and could barely get the toilet out of my truck to the bathroom. being in a hurry because of a deadline of July 1 to get the house on the market, i called these guys and they came out the same day put the toilet together and installed it. the guy that came out was professional and did a good job. if my back hadn't of gone out i would have done it but these guys pulled through for me in a bind. read more

That was the only company that asked that. That impressed me!! He did make a appointment for 2 days later. He called because he was running early. My 10 yr old water heater began leaking, of course, when my handy husband went out of town. I was already beside myself with the kids, dogs, house, work and was now dealing with this leak and a mess of water in the garage! Ugh! I called a guy off Craigslist to come out to take a look and he told me I needed a new water heater right away and left to get me a good price for a new one. But I never heard back from him til the next day after texting/calling him several times. He didn't even advise me to turn off the water to stop the leaking.. Never, ever go to CL for plumbing needs! Anyways, I searched the Internet in my area and saw that Generations Plumbing got great reviews on Yelp. I called at 630 am the next morning and left a message. Alex called me right away when office hours opened and was at my house within the hour! It was a hectic day with the kids, dogs, and work but he was calm, professional, and thorough. My barking dogs and chatty kids didn't frazzle him at all. He didnt rush and wasn't constantly on his cellphone, like i see with some contractors. He took his time and was thorough. He checked for water damage in all surrounding areas including inside the house, and explained the problem and solutions. Luckily the leak was caught early so no water damage! He gave me a good quote and changed out the water heater that day. He even added a large tray underneath the water heater and connected a drain to it to catch any water in case there were any future leaking issues. It has been a few weeks now and there are no issues at all! My husband came back and was very impressed with the work. I've recommended Alex/Generations Plumbing to my neighbors, family, and friends and will post his info on our community website! He is wonderful to work with, trustworthy, and reliable! Alex was punctual with a capital P, right on time and arrived in a very awesome looking work van, he ran tubing from the main sewage line all the way around my house to a bathroom we added to a guest room. He installed all the required parts for my new bathroom, and even performed a test to make sure everything would pass for city inspection. Even the city inspector asked who did our plumbing, because it was a very clean job.
