Took my daughter here today for a Mother & daughter day of extreme hair makeovers & the 2 of us couldn't be happier w/ the experience & our results! From the moment we walked in the environment was professional but, at the same time, warm & friendly! We were greeted immediately when we walked in by the receptionist, & in no time at all our stylists were there taking us back. My daughter had Tristine, & I had Alex. I'd been told when I made the appts. that the stylists were mid-level but you'd never know it! Both stylists knew exactly what we were looking for w/ our extreme hair makeovers. My daughter had hair halfway down her back & told Tristine that she wanted to go a little above her shoulders, & also wanted rose gold highlights added to her untouched virgin hair. My daughters hair was stubborn & wanted to refuse the color being added but, Tristine had no problem consulting w/ other stylist to quickly find a solution to give my daughter the EXACT tone she wanted... & WHAT A SUCCESS!!! Tristine got the color & the style of cut PERFECT!!! My daughter couldn't be happier w/ the results! I went in w/ the longest part of my hair falling at the bottom of my back. I'd allowed my hair to grow so long because my long hair was the only way my mother suffering dementia knew who I was, & after a year of grieving her loss I was ready for a much needed change! After explain to Alex, my stylist, what I needed & wanted, she knew exactly what I was there for & didn't shy away from the challenge. Alex went above & beyond to give me the beautiful hair I'd been missing, & at the same time, she was conscious of the emotional part this change played in me. I'd recommend both of these young ladies to anyone! I also paid attention to the other stylist working & saw happy customers smiling throughout the entire salon! So not only would I recommend Alex & Tristine, I'd recommend this salon! From the receptionists, & stylists, to the ladies constantly sweeping the hair off the floors... this salon is both professional & full of talented, caring stylists, it is also spotless & clean from the front to the back! As a first time customer, I must say the entire experience at Genesis Salon Loganville was exceptional in every way. The salon was very clean, orderly and so nice. The receptionist greeted me when I came in, she was very professional and friendly. I had been referred to Kiley for a haircut. I was told she was experienced with my hair type, which is natural curly and fine. She did an excellent job by giving me a precision haircut. She was very nice, listened to my explanation of what haircut I wanted, and I LOVE MY HAIRCUT! I'm very picky about my hair and believe me, I'm thrilled to have Kiley as my stylist! I've recently moved to Monroe and was in a dilemma as to finding a suitable hair salon. MY DILEMMA IS SOLVED NOW SINCE I'VE FOUND GENESIS SALON LOGANVILLE AND KILEY. Great Salon! I've seen many girls here and they have all been great. Raye was absolutely phenomenal yesterday and really listened to exactly what I WANTED! She even pulled up pictures on the Ipad for me to discuss the different "looks of a bob" cut and we decided to go with a beveled look, once she had finished I was still unsure and we went for a stacked bob. She was so patient and really went above and beyond. This was by far my best experience and Im happy to say I have found my permanent hairdresser. BUT AGAIN, all the girls are great! I am a monthly regular client at Genesis where Logan always does an outstanding job. While I was in her chair the other day, I had the chance to witness another stylist, Hunter, go above and beyond with a little elderly client and her husband who was accompanying her. I got the impression that the lady probably has dementia, and was extremely anxious. Hunter was so very gentle, patient and kind with the lady and with the husband. I was compelled to let her manager how impressed I was and i wanted to do a shoutout here as well. You never know when someone is watching how you treat other people, and I was wowed!!!!! I have been getting my blonde hair highlighted and low lighted for years- I have to say Im very picky and usually not happy with the results. Its either too light or too dark and not the contrast I was looking for. The last time i had it done (different shop) -I walked out almost GREEN but had asked to be less blonde-well needless to say I was very disappointed and had no idea where to go. I went to Genesis in Loganville and Neisha performed my color. She was great! I am so happy with the results. It looks natural- and she covered my grey beautifully. Went to Logan today for my first appointment at this salon. Let me just say how wonderful & talented she is!!!! I have always had very blonde highlights & have been wanting to go darker for years. Today I took the plunge & absolutely love the results. Logan did superb with the color and cut. I loved how she took the time before she started to provide me with a full consultation with what I wanted & the results (color & cut both). I never felt rushed at any time. Yesterday, Jaylynn was my assigned hairdresser. Since my regular hairdresser was off, I was a bit nervous about havibg someone else do my hair. I was getting color and all over highlights. They took me the same day with little/no warning as a first time customer. Had my hair cut by Gray who was very polite and professional while communicating with me every step of the way to ensure it was how I wanted it cut, or to change it to how I liked it. Jacee does my hair on a regular basis. She is absolutely amazing. I have had her highlight my hair several times. She has done both foils and bayalage and does an amazing job every time. I get so many compliments. I have done purple and red highlights which were awesome and then done normal browns and auburn colors too. Every time she colors or cuts my hair I get so many compliments.
