The details: My husband and I went on a day sail + sunset sail with a few friends, and it was the perfect escape during this time. My husband has pretty bad sea sickness, so I was a bit worried that he would feel sick during the sail, but nope! The yacht sails so smoothly that you feel instantly relaxed, especially as you are looking out the beautiful Miami skyline. There is a section on the front of the yacht that is cushioned where you can lay down and soak in the sun. You can also take some beautiful, Instagram-worthy photos ;) The yacht is also fully furnished, meaning it has even a freaking toaster oven, a laundry machine, and a bomb ass stereo systems to enjoy your favorite Spotify playlist. My group of friends had the BEST time, even though it poured rain!! This boat was designed with a real focus on luxury and most importantly COMFORT! The interior is quite spacious and elegantly crafted, yet extremely cozy. We all fit comfortably downstairs and had an amazing time while we waited out the rain. Seriously so much fun!! The mattresses on the bed are more comfortable than the ones I have at home. The deck is gorgeous with amazing cushions and pillows. Did I mention there is a 12 bottle wine fridge?! Blown away!!!! I've sailed vessels from 20's to 50's all over the world and Genesis is stunning. Did a sunset sail on her. Nothing beats gliding over the seas doing 12 knots under sails on an immaculate vessel. Such a memorable and breathtaking evening for my friends and me. I'll need to come back for an overnight charter with my girlfriend. The owner put a ton of effort into turning the cabins, saloon, and galley into a classy high end resort-style entertainment space. Words cannot begin to describe my experience with Genesis Yacht Charters! This is not just a typical sail...it is an EXPERIENCE. Let me just tell you mine. I came to Miami for 36 hours to kickoff my bday week. We went on a sunset sail, and this boat was fully decked out and full of surprises! The boat was in pristine condition with luxury finishes, a large common area with Bose surround sound, temperature controlled wine fridge (very important), fully equipped chef's kitchen, with a 3-burner stove, microwave, and oven (yes for you bakers!) 2 cabins each with a private bath, separated shower, and electric toilets. The boat also has a built-in sound system, but the best surprise was the on boat DJ we had onboard! We kicked off the party by sailing into the sunset! The wine was the perfect temperature and the conditions were right. With the DJ spinning, breathtaking views, smooth ride, and great crew, we totally had a full on dance party on the boat. Smooth sailing thanks to Captain Morgan! Our captain took us all around the Miami bay and we saw the most beautiful skyline. Just as it started to get dark after sunset, fireworks started to shoot up in the air. (How did we get so lucky?). That doesn't come with the sail, but you might be in for some fun surprises if you book with GYC! At the end of the night, we all jumped into the warm water and shared stories and hidden talents around a floating lantern. I've never been able to sail without being freezing in the wind or water, which makes sailing with GYC in Miami the best choice! I will let the photos speak for itself, but we definitely had a blast and shared memories for life! Shoutout to the friends who came out for the most EPIC sail...you know who you are! read more

I've been on Yelp since 2009 and for over a decade no cafe, no restaurant, no barbershop, no dance class moved me enough to write a review...but this charter experience finally did it! I don't know much about boats, so I'll keep it simple. It's a beautiful, large, sailing boat that makes you want to say "I'm on a boat!" with T-Pain in the background. The boat is new and sleek with a bumping sound system, yet when you're propelling across the water using only the sail, you feel in tune with nature without all the modern distractions and engine noise. It's very well organized with a lot of storage, amenities, and space to walk around, lounge, and relax. I had hands down the best experience of recent memory that I'm writing this review to let the whole internet know. I really look forward to getting back down there and repeating this experience. Absolutely blown away by my time spent on this STUNNING boat. Few friends and I were trying to celebrate a birthday in a COVID-free environment and this was the perfect opportunity for us all. I've NEVER been on such a clean and organized boat as this one was. When we first got on, it was raining. Didn't matter because we all were able to have drinks and throw a mini dance party in a surprisingly spacious inside cabin. I don't even think we would've been upset if we weren't able to take it out on the water had the weather not cleared up. Like I said, SO CLEAN (and eco-friendly ). I actually didn't even feel like I was on a boat because it really did feel like a luxury home with its modern-decorated interior. The two bedrooms on board feel like cruise-styled suites, especially with the extremely clean bathrooms in each. I swear, the appliances on this boat are nicer than what's in my own home. Even when the rain stopped and we were able to take it on a sunset cruise, it didn't feel like we were rocking when I'd go inside to grab drinks or snacks. Sailing was breathtaking, and I felt really safe the entire time despite having been a little nervous with sailboats in the past. Most of us were dancing to the loud music we chose to put on, but there were some of us at the front of the boat laying out looking at the stars , and some were sitting on the comfortable resort-styled seats toward the front. Our experience was truly out of a movie and we wouldn't have been able to have this incredible memory if it weren't for the owner. I wanted to stay on the boat until the sun came up so that I could take advantage of all the little reading & tanning spots on the deck. So thank you SO much for caring for this beautiful boat, because there is NO DOUBT that we will be back for more!!! read more
