After wrapping up a business visit nearby, I decided to give this spot a try after seeing some promising reviews--and I'm glad I did. First thing to know: this is a delivery or curbside-only operation, so don't expect to dine in. I pulled into the lot, called the number posted on the building, and placed my order right from the car. The process was simple, and my food was ready in about 15-20 minutes, which felt pretty reasonable. I started with the mushroom Swiss burger paired with Cajun fries--definitely the highlight. The burger was flavorful and satisfying, and the fries had just the right kick. For later, I grabbed a double cheeseburger "deluxe style." While it was loaded, it might have been a little too loaded--so many toppings that it overwhelmed the burger a bit. The only real downside was not having a place to sit and eat. I had to drive elsewhere to enjoy my food before it cooled down, which took away from the overall experience. Still, the prices were competitive, the service was efficient, and the mushroom Swiss burger alone is worth a return trip. They have the very best Veggie Omelettes w/real potatoes w/cajun or plain with chopped grilled onions. Process: call your order in, park in the lot on the right (East side) and they'll (Robert the owner) or one of his wonderful staff will bring it out to you. Always the best fresh ingredients are used hot & fresh. Oh the everything omelette is really, really tasty...not too spicy just flavorful. Curb-side only. No dine-in. No carry-out. I visited for the full slider experience. The sliders are excellent, but I was left wanting the olfactory and aural experience. Minus one star. The onions are fully caramelized. The pickles are fresh, crisp and tart. The white bread bun does a terrific job of sucking up all the tasty grease. Being back in town and having a buddy with me from NM, we decided to all stop in here before heading up north. Wise choice! I went with the double slider & Fries lunch special and (1) Coney on the side....wow....amazing. The food is spot on, fresh and delicious. Super friendly! We were greeted immediately and they took our drink order before we sat down. Now they were not busy but I have been in here when it was for take out orders (I am a teacher at a school nearby and don't have time to sit down usually) and even when busy they are friendly and helpful. I cannot comment on most of the menu because when I am here it is for hamburgers. And hamburgers they do great. They have several combo meals featuring their large burgers (think quarter pounder sized) or small burgers (think slider sized). I usually order with cheese and bacon ,but they usually come stander with grilled onions and pickles as well. To be blunt, I have never had a bad burger at this place. If I HAD to find something to criticize? I wish they had shoestring fries. Instead they have standard sized fries, and even I say that's really it picking. Also the place is small inside, but I think that ads to the charm. This is defiantly a place I have been to several times before and will be at many more times in the future! read more

For those of us who grew up in Detroit In the 50s & 60s, the eponymous white hamburger joint (NOT White Castle or Top Hat, although those are ok) was our fast food. Geneva doesn't fit the visual image of the white porcelain walls & stainless steel counter, but man-oh-man, their burgers are THE BEST anywhere. Robert, the owner, is affable and proud of the excellent comfort food he dishes up, using only high quality ground round with no fillers. Another secret is the paper thin onions caramelized, not simply sautéed. Yum!Pure beef franks and AMAZING old school French fries. The shakes/maltslook pretty enticing as well, and I hear great things about his breakfasts. Retro 50s & 60s juke box music & as others have noted, the entire place is spotless. What great gem of an establishment. I always go to Lowe's for my hardware needs, never knew that this place was right down the corner. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but once you step in you will be greater with a cozy and clean dining room with many booths and counter seating. On my trip, there happened to be a lions game on a fairly large and high quality TV; if I had not been expected to take food home, I would have loved to sit there and watch while eating. After picking some stuff on the menu, I took the burgers home and got to work. They were amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop in. read more

Stopped in to this cute little place for a bite. This place first of all is so clean and cute inside. The server was, kind, polite and sweet and very prompt. I ordered a Royale Cherseburger. The bun was soft and warm and the patties were hand made. Yummy! Hubby ordered the breakfast; also super delicious. The eggs were scrambled with cheddar, done just the way he likes them. Great sliders! So excited to have a clean, affordable, and delicious burger place on the Eastside. The 5×5 gives you 5 small, but really too large to be called small, burgers. Grilled onions, pickle and cheese create the classic yet not so greasy slider. This is the burger you'd make at home but why? Fries were golden brown and generously portioned if not exceptional. On a whim, we decided to try out Geneva's Burgers tonight. We're not from the area, but were looking for something nearby while we happened to be in the area. It's a clean, little classic burger joint. The burgers were ok, but the fries were more special. Nice, crisp and freshly fried. Service was great. We also got a slice of caramel cake to go. Very good and tastes like homemade. They also had strawberry and lemon cake, as well as the usual chocolate and yellow cake. How many times do you see diners even carry old fashioned layer cake anymore? Nice touch! read more

These are the best burgers I've had in Metro Detroit. The prettiest? No. The biggest? No. The tastiest? YES. Get a bag of 5x5 (five large "sliders") with cheese and you too will be singing their praises. The way the burger, cheese and griddled onions onions come together is a thing of magic. Their onion rings are great too, big and crispy. Very friendly staff that takes pride in their work. First time here had the wings which were pretty good. Also had the 5 small cheeseburgers which reminded me of a slightly larger White Castle cheeseburger. They were ok but not as good as I thought. The restaurant puts you in the mind of an old school diner or like "Top Hat" from back in the day. Good customer service and relatively clean. There's not a lot of parking spaces but it seems like this is a turn and burn spot so you're not going to be in here long enough to have to wait for a parking space. Drove past the other day and finally after years of doing so and wanting to see I finally stopped by to grab a lunch. I ordered the double bacon burger with fries. The burger was on of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked perfect and had a great flavor and the double was a great size as well. I like to consider myself a diner/dive connoisseur and OMG This place is amazing! The guys working the counter are so friendly and easy going and the food is crazy good!! I got the royale with cheese special and it was like a Big Mac but with real flavor and the fries were so crispy and hot. If you're looking for a hot juicy flavorful burger or any of those coney classics you can find them here and at a very nice price too!! Great sliders! Exactly what I was looking for with grilled onions, mustard, ketchup and pickles. The fries and coneys were good also. The shake could of been a bit thicker but to be honest it made no difference and I drank it just the same. I've found my new slider place for sure! read more
