Experience: I have been wanting to try this place for a long time. I had an appointment close by and decided to stop and try it. Facility: Cute place... order at the counter and sit where you want. They have some tables and chair with half booths, and high top tables and chairs too. Service: The guy who helped was nice and patient while I decided. He was helpful when I asked questions. The only thing I didn't like is I forgot my coupon that is in the flyers every week, and he could have given me the discount... it's not like they are hard to get... I just forgot it at home. But I suppose some people stick to the rules no matter. Food: now this was the main reason for the markdown. Maybe people hyped this place up too much and I expected more... but I was disappointed. Fried ravioli - 4/5 they taste good but some barely had any cheese inside. White pizza - 4/5 very good flavor but it was a little too mild. Some bites were bland and some were flavorful. Meat lovers - 2.5/5 This pizza was bland, not enough cheese, and we were not a fan of either of the sausages on the pizza. Carrot cake - 5/5 this was delish ... moist and good flavor. Overall: I did take the food to go, so maybe that was why we didnt enjoy it as much, or maybe my expectations were too high. Genuinely friendly service and GREAT pizza and desserts - i've been here a couple of times both eating in and carry out. - clean hospitable place for dining in. - owner (?)/ manager (?) Took my payment once and introduced me to the desserts. It clearly takes pride in them, pointing out that the cheesecake is shipped from New York no less. He talked about, he started working with a new bakery in Orlando. It has problems keeping the cakes in. They're so delicious, particularly the Reeses peanut butter cake and the orange dream (?) Cake. I have had the tiramisu and look forward to trying the others. PIZZA consistently fabulous. Maybe it's just me, but I wasn't a fan of this pizza. Everyone has their own preference when it comes to pizza- I like my pizza not overly cooked ...I know others like their pizza well done or crunchier ...I am not that person . The crust was overly cooked and that completely ruined it for me. It was also really greasy. I'm the only one that didn't like it though- everyone else loved it read more

The owner and staff here were an absolute delight! The girls at the front were friendly and attentive from start to finish. We tried the regular cheese, Detroit pepperoni, white, and grandma pizza -- all were amazing. Their HUGE NY-style slices are the real deal with ingredients straight from Brooklyn, and the fresh basil on the grandma pizza was perfection. What stood out most was the customer service and feeling like being back at home. I mentioned and joked about a past issue with a shrimp parm hero from their other location, and the owner immediately addressed it, offered recommendations, and even invited us back to try it again on the house. So good! The slices are huge! The garlic knots are super soft too. I came in with a couple coworkers for lunch one day in military uniform and a random man gifted us all gift cards as a thank you (soo nice of him) so I brought someone for dinner the next week to use it. For years we were willing to drive down Route 1 to get Genna's delicious pizza, because it is so good. That is why we were overjoyed when Genna Pizza Express opened in Suntree. Admittedly there are several pizza restaurants in the area, but none of them can come up to Genna's real Italian, out of this world flavors. Go see for yourself--you'll be glad you did! I ordered a Stromboli online tonight, to be ready at 5:50. I got there at 5:45 and was told it was just going into the oven and would take about 20 minutes. No apology for the wait. When I got it home, it was covered with garlic, so much so we had to scrape it off. And it wasn't completely cooked inside. The dough was chewy. Very disappointed. Will not be ordering that again. We've been getting pizza from them since they opened in August 2023. They still are struggling with time management. Doesn't matter if you call to place an order, or place an online order - it either sits there and gets soggy or it's not ready when they say it will be ready. Most of the time the pizza is good, but it is hit-or-miss on how quickly they prepare your order. I've learned to place my order then immediately go to the restaurant. I'd rather wait for it to be fresh out of the oven, than have it be soggy and cold. read more
