The star pizza was our fave and the burrata! If you've never had burrata you need to. It's basically fresh mozzarella that's been hiding a secret...a rich, buttery, creamy core that melts the second you cut into it. It's heaven! The bread served with the burrata was perfect. It had just enough salt and rosemary. Like how can just a few ingredients seem so complex? Sorry I don't take great pictures but I hope you can tell how tasty things are from looking at them! Mister O1 Extraordinary Pizza in Melbourne absolutely lives up to the name. I met a friend here and they had already grabbed a table on the patio, so I didn't get a chance to see the inside, but the food alone made a huge impression. The pizza was phenomenal. The crust had the perfect bite--crispy with just the right chew. The cheese was melted perfectly, the sauce was flavorful, and every bite was delicious. I live about 40 minutes away and I'm already planning when I can go back. They also have infused olive oils you can drizzle over your pizza, which took it to another level. Chef's kiss. I also ordered the Caprese salad, and it was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It came with a seasoned flatbread that reminded me of naan, and it was honestly addictive. I kept reaching for more because it was that good. Part of me doesn't even want to share this review because I'd love to keep this place a secret, but food this good deserves the praise. *INITIAL REVIEW** I am always games to try a new pizza place, especially one I never ate at in Melbourne Main Street a.k.a. Historic Downtown Melbourne. True most pizza in Florida is nowhere near as good as the classics (New York, Detroit, Chicago), but sometimes you'll be surprised how good some pizza here in Florida can be. Ergo, I heard many good things about Mister 01 Extraordinary Pizza (which I will shorthand simply to Mister 01 for the remainder of this review) from friends, aquaintances, and my fellow Yelpers (Elites). They were right. Mister 01 is fantastic for what they offer. Mister 01 is one of the restaurants located in the HighLine Apartments. The Heneger Center is just west of it and the USPS Office is right across the street. This is also Historic Downtown Melbourne so the parking situation will either be easy-peasy or a nightmare depending what time you arrive. Besides the storefront, the first part of the restaurant you will see is the dining patio. This is where my friend Paula and I had our meal. Inside, there is more seating flanked by modern art design and decor fitting of a tasting room in Martha's Vineyard. Our waiter/server, Robert, was very helpful in suggestions, but I wanted to eat the two menu items people rave about all the time: the Star Luca and the Nutella Pizza. Starting the Star Luca, definitely loved the aesthetic of folding the corners of the crust to have pockets full of ricotta cheese, but I loved that the pizzas were also thin crust. Ergo, the pizzas may be of standard sizes, but you probably can eat a whole one and not feel too ashamed given its smaller mass. And for the nutella pizza, Robert also included bananas on it which took the pizza to another level of deliciousness. On a sidenote, the restrooms, were clean. They were gender-neutral which is fine as they were single-use only. Ultimately, this initial visit to Mister 01 was fantastic! The ambiance, the service, the food, were exceedingly good. Just like my past reviews, I can't give a perfect score on an initial review because it doesn't score consistency, but if subsequent visits are just as good, I will definitely give them their fifth star. read more

Experience: This is one of those places you hear about a lot and so it was on my list to try. The kid and I wanted something for dinner on a Saturday night. Facility: This is a smallish place located in the busiest part of downtown Melbourne. There is some parking close but all parking downtown is the luck of the draw. The restaurant has half of its seating outside and half inside. We chose to sit wherever was open soonest. They had all tables and chairs. It's definitely a crowded place and the seats are crammed in. Service: we were placed on a waiting list that they text us when the table was ready about 20 minutes later. Our server was great... he got whatever we needed and made some good suggestions. Service was great all around. Food: we ordered the burrata appetizer, which came with hot pieces of pizza crust, buratta, fresh tomatoes and dressed arugula. It was delicious!!! 5/5 Then we got a pepperoni pizza with jalapeños and a star vegetable pizza. The pizza for both was good, but a tad bland. We had to add salt for sure. 4/5 Then we got the Nutella desert with bananas... not much bananas but not short on Nutella. My kid said it was almost too much Nutella and she loves that stuff. LOL! 4/5 Overall: We do enjoy the restaurant, the location, the staff and the food. Mister O1 never disappoints! The pizza was absolutely incredible, but what really made our visit memorable was the outstanding customer service. We were dining with our baby, who started getting a little fussy during dinner. Ross, the manager, noticed and came over to ask if he could bring her some banana slices. It was such a simple but incredibly thoughtful gesture, and it made all the difference. She happily snacked on them, and we were able to enjoy the rest of our meal in peace. As a parent, those little acts of kindness mean more than you know. Ross went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome, and it's the kind of service that's becoming harder to find. We've been here twice, always ordered a different pizza, they've never failed to deliver a hot crispy and delicious pizza! We've tried the Star, it's very unique and fun to eat I personally would've liked more sauce on it, but that's just me. We got the regular cheese for my daughter, it's great! I always steal a slice & would order one for myself next time we plan to go. Had a classic margarita (that's what you should always judge at a new pizza joint) and it was absolutely PERFECT my husband just came back from New York, tried this place and said it was up there with some of his NY pizza spots. They also have a dessert menu with their Nutella Pie and another which was brought out to us on National Nutella Day which I thought was so fun. Star pizzas are very good and worth a try, but o prefer the standard rounds. Salads are big enough for four. We had a Caesar with anchovies, highly recommend. Premium craft beers were fantastic. I'm surprised I haven't left a review sooner. We've been to Mister 01 numerous times, and it's easily our personal favorite for personal, thin-crust Neapolitan-style pizza, whether dining in or picking up takeout. It's less than 10 minutes from home, right next to Hotel Melby, and the location is a dime. We love the outdoor seating, though we've also enjoyed eating inside. The ingredients are always fresh, the crust has the perfect stone fire crisp texture, and everything is thoughtfully made. There are lots of creative pizza options that sound amazing, but the two I keep going back to are the Star Luca and the Coffee Paolo. Both are fantastic. The salads are also huge. Both times we dined in service was excellent. It's a little pricey, but absolutely worth it for high-quality artisan pizza. read more

They have indoor and outdoor seating. We choose to eat inside. It was cool but not too cold, it smells fantastic and is very clean. The decor is minimalist and the oldie music they were playing wasn't so loud you can't talk to people at your table. On vacation here with extended family and they wanted to try a local pizza place near their B&B. I yelped for best pizza places and came up with this place. Following yelp was better than just visiting a random place. First I will say the waitress was exceptional. The menu was strange to me. This is not your typical pizza place. I'm used to eating at the Papa's.... both of them. I ordered a sausage pizza and my wife said i was BORING. It was a safe order. The waitress came and said i should try the Matteo which was similar but not boring? Lol Then as she moved around the table she told others they could add ingredients. I said, What???? I can add ingredients? I want to change my order so I added tomatoes to my Matteo pizza. As she moved around the table even farther, she told someone else they could order pizza half one way and half another way. What???? I can do half and half? So i changed my order AGAIN and added the Star feature which she also said i could do. My Matteo was amazing. My other half was Hawaiian. I'll say the Matteo outshined the Hawaiian. It was packed on a Saturday night but that was a great sign of the quality food to come! We had a 40ish minute wait but there were benches outside for us to sit while we waited. They even also offered to get chairs for my older in-laws. That was super nice of them. Food: we ordered the Carlos 2.0 and the Laura salad. My husband said he'd eat more salads at home if I made them like the Laura salad. The Carlos was one of their signature pizzas with a great balance of a little spice, cool arugula and fresh avocado, all tied up with some ricotta and sausage. Dang that was delicious! Hubs asked for a side of sauce because he is a firm believer in pizza having red sauce. He loved that combo. I also ordered the Montepulciano wine which was pretty good. My in-laws got the cheese pizza and a Caesar salad and they lived both. Our salads, which one was more than enough for two people, came out first. With the exception of the Caesar, they did not include a dressing but were served with bottles of the house olive oil and balsamic vinegar so we could add per our taste preferences. Ooohhh those croutons were so good! And the shaved parm...dang! Our pizzas came out next, super hot and fresh! Along with the pizza with were provided fresh dinner plates too. They offered a spicy olive oil to add to our pies. It was all so good. Our server, Adli, was excellent and so helpful by making suggestions from the menu for us. A very charming spot located in the heart of downtown Melbourne with outside seating and rustic indoor dining. The service was quick and ordering was easy. We knew exactly what to get after looking at pictures of their pizza online prior. We got the simple cheese pie and the Star Luca (a work of art visually and taste) The dough is aged and the crust is thin but durable with a beautiful crisp. The sauce was perfectly balanced without the sweetness of added sugar and an heavenly amount of gooey cheese! But the star of the show was the Star Luca! The ricotta inside the crust was so soft and tasted like a cloud encrusted in a crunchy shell. With salty meats and robust sauce and again, more gooey cheese. The nutella pizza comes with powdered sugar on top so my friend's daughter, our picky eater was hesitant to eat. We had the burrata (delicious!) and one of their Extraordinary star pizzas.
