I always went every Wednesday and marveled how good the chef Tommy was but I was there this week and he was gone . I ordered the spaghetti bolognese and it was watery , there was perhaps one tiny piece if chop eat in it . I heard the manager had prepared it bc my favorite chef who was there for years was being harassed , I will never go there again ! Whenever I did go and Tommy was off the food was terrible ! We went to PizzaVola with a large group last month and last night just my spouse and I went. In late April, with all who attended the group event, everyone was happy with the food, service, and price. That's unusual because typically when you have a group someone, no matter how good things are, will find fault and complain. That did not occur. No complaints. Last night, we had a yearning for Italian food. There are a few Italian restaurants nearby but this has become our favorite. 1. The quality of food is consistently good. I love the simplicity of spaghetti and meatballs, which are by the way, the size of tennis balls. I love spaghetti sauce and our waitress was attentive to that and brought extra. My wife loves eggplant dishes. There was so much food we brought it home and had it for lunch today. It is New York style Italian cuisine. 2. The service was amazing. We were seated in the area with less foot traffic, one would think out-of-sight, out-of-mind. But not so. Our server was continually checking in, refreshed our beverages, cleared the table after each course, and did so in a friendly upbeat manner. 3. The price was quite reasonable. We live here. This is our Italian restaurant of choice for those reasons. Consistency is an imperative and they are consistent in those three areas: 1. quality of food, 2. quality of service, and 3. reasonable prices. read more

I was impressed. I ordered a pizza here a few months ago and one yesterday . It was a lot better this time around. We ordered a medium pepperoni and my wife added pineapples on half. The dough was the perfect consistency for pizza dough. It was chewy, thin crust and delicious The pizza was well cooked and had bubbles from the heat which is a must for brick oven pizza. Not a fan of pineapples on pizza but that was not their doing bc that's how we ordered it. I had to stop myself from over indulging. The reason for the score was because of their improvement. I ordered for a pickup and the lady that took my order was super friendly. So... on to the taste. I ordered a large white pizza and a pepperoni with cheese and a meatball side. I love a white pizza and meatballs! Anyway picked it up and it was all ready to go ! I got home and that's where the disappointment occurred. Although my white pizza looked good, it lacked the garlicky parmesan taste that I love. The meatballs tasted bland as well. My thing is a white pizza with meatballs in red sauce on the side (try it, it's delicious). Anyway the meatballs even seemed spongy. Super disappointing. I wanted to love them because the employees or owners (not sure what they are) were super nice and they are a example of great customer service. I may order again ONLY because of the employees who are awesome. The pepperoni pizza eater said it was good. Add more garlic and olive oil on the white pizza. We have eaten here 3 times now. It's located directly to the left of the Publix on Eau Gallie in the shopping strip. We always get our order to go but there's a large seating area inside. You can order online for pickup and we have never waited. Our order has been ready Twice we have gotten the Wednesday night special which is 2 entrees, 2 sides, and garlic knots for $23.95. I've gotten the spaghetti and meatballs both times and it's really good. A large portion which I get two meals of of my entree. I get the side salad. The garlic knots are yummy. It's a great meal for the price! We also got the pizza of the month on another visit. It was good but I prefer the entrees myself. We also love to get the Zeppolis for dessert! They come with a large side of Nutella! OMG! So good! Warm Zeppolis dipped in Nutella! I would certainly recommend Pizza Vola for a reasonably priced, tasty meal! read more

We ordered delivery. It took a lil over an hour to get our food. The delivery driver was nice & so was the lady who took my order over the phone. The salad was fresh & plentiful. The tomatoes on the bruschetta were fresh & flavorful. I'm used to having onions as well. The bread was burnt on the edges, my son complained & ate the tomatoes on top of the complimentary garlic bread. The zucchini sticks were good, I didn't really like the dipping sauce. The sautéed veggies were really good. I like the sauce they were sautéed in. I did ask for the broccoli to be a bit under so by the time it arrived it wouldn't be soggy. I enjoy my broccoli crunchy, it wasn't. I wanna try their calamari & pizza next time. The prices are a bit high for pizza. I may dine in next time. read more

No, no, no. Not the place to go. At least not on the night we went. Between smoke inhalation and really bland flavors in the pizza, burnt garlic rolls (source of smoke???) and really not very good seafood it just wasn't their day. We walked in and it took a while to get a waitress to come to take our drink order. True she was outside talking to another table.....for 15 minutes while looking at us through the window. The other waitress looked at us, went behind the bar, came out looked at us, went behind the bar. Once we got a waitress, disconnected from us, not sure what she was focused on. Maybe wondering if the building was on fire? In all fairness they did open all the doors to try and get the smoke out.......try being the watchword. The personal pizza was as my son says " like the kind you get a movie theatre" and my seafood pasta dish was undercooked or really old pasta. I think the latter. Was horrible. Sorry, but that is what was on the plate. The garlic rolls aka hockey pucks. They were burned, the evidence is in the pictures. We didn't even say anything because it was about impossible to get our waitresses attention....so no drink refills no nothing. There was one highlight. The Italian trio my wife got was good and she really enjoyed it even the next day. So I cannot figure out how things went sideways. They do a HUGE take out business and on a weekend night maybe that should be all they do. Who knows? They also had no idea of the Yelp deal you get when you check-in. The manager told her to have me email it to her phone so he could see it. So not sure who go them to do the offer but they did not know how to use it. For what I thought was a pizza shop they have amazing Italian food; I had the scampi and my hubby the lasagna; surprisingly delicious

I don't know what it's like inside/to sit down because I ordered to go. I called and ordered to go and the staff was friendly and helpful. They sounded very busy in the background which was good but also was a bit of a noise distraction. I ordered the white pizza ie ricotta garlic ( delicious btw ), a cannoli to try, Cesar salad and did a make your own. When I picked ip the food I noticed that the make your own wasn't correct and they quickly remade and I had gotten someone else's order. No big deal and they quickly took care of it. I love garlic and I highly recommend the garlic knots and the white pizza. So good read more

After reading many of the reviews prior to ordering I felt good about giving this restaurant a try! We ordered a small "meat lovers" pizza, that was delicious! The crust was cooked well and nice and crunchy and toppings were yummy!! For dessert we got a slice of "the dark side of the moon," which didn't have a description on the menu but ended up being a chocolate layered cake that was great as well as zappole (Italian donuts) with Nutella dipping sauce which my boyfriend loved! Unfortunately, we also ordered garlic knots that ended up being sub par, didn't seem cooked all the way, kinda "doughy," as well as fettuccine Alfredo that was underwhelming. It lacked flavor as well as seasoning and was $14 without a protein. Would definitely recommend the pizza and dessert! read more

Great place for pizza and Italian food. This restaurant is located in the shopping center on the northeast corner of the Eau Gallie and South Patrick intersection. This center has Publix and Bealls for anchor stores. This site is located closest to the South Patrick Drive road at the corner of the center. The location has tables along 2 sides of the L-shaped design. You can order out or eat in. You enter facing the counter and the seating is to the left and right of the entrance and counter. We were greeted and seated as soon as we enter. When we visited one side of the inside dining was dedicated to a party of 25 set p in a long of tables. On the other side of the seating were a couple of 4-person tall tables and 4-person short tables in the other corner of the dining area. The waitress, although busy with the large party still was very friendly and efficient. They have specials on some days. We visited on a day when the large cheese pizza and the vola salad. They were both delicious and we had plenty to bring home for another meal. Overall, the meal cost about $23 for both items. Reasonable for great service and excellent food. read more

First of all this place has fantastic food. Italian cuisine I believe with a Sicilian favor. I had spaghetti and and meatballs. The sauce great. The meatball even better. My husband had a Stromboli, it could easily feed 3 people. One couple we went with had chicken Parmesan and spaghetti. He loved it. The other couple had spaghetti and meatballs also. Best pizza within 15 mins of Melbourne, FL at least. One of the rarer spots where you can get a single slice and it taste just as good as a full, fresh pie. White Pizza is solid with some broccoli on it or go with a straight cheese pizza for simple deliciousness. Great lunch special too! read more

Let me say I would have given 5 stars but my fries were a bit soggy. Let me start by saying the lady that took my order was so pleasant and helpful as I had never done a delivery order from here . My order arrived before the time allowed as I ordered a garden salad and fries I have been wanting fries for awhile. The garlic bums were wonderful, my salad had the right amount of greens not boring iceberg lettuce. The delivery guy was an older gentleman who had a great sense of humor when his tip was in quarters. I will definitely call to try the pizza so many others are raving about. I am done with this place! I've been ordering from here for the last 4 years. The pizza is good, nothing special, and we get the anti pasta salad. This place has continuously raised their prices and the quality has gone down! Tonight was the final straw as their $17 salad came with wilted lettuce, again! And nothing else but meat. No tomato, cucumber or olives. Nothing! We were also were charged extra for ranch ($1.50 ea) because we didn't like their balsamic. At least let the customer know you're charging them extra. In addition the pizza used to be way better! Just not the same. Sauce tastes bland and just not very good anymore. I live down the street and order from them all the time and the quality has gone way down and prices have gone sky high. I'm definitely not ordering from them anymore and I'll order my pizza night pizza elsewhere. Hopefully in the future they can match quality to their high prices! read more
