Drove past here for a year after moving to the area. The place didn't stand out or catch my attention. My wife and son tried the pizza last week and recommended we go back for dinner last night. Great choice. Greeted upon walking in by very friendly, smiling staff. Prompt service, great garlic rolls. We ordered a pie for my son, he loved it. I tried it too. Sweet sauce and perfectly cooked. My wife had the eggplant parm dinner with spaghetti and it was delicious. I ordered the chicken monachina. Chicken cutlet over a bed of sautéed spinach, mushrooms, tomato's, mozzarella in a Marsala sauce with fettuccine Alfredo. Absolutely one of the best dishes I've eaten since moving to Florida. Great find, great food! Worth the ride if you live in Brevard County. Looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the menu. Very reasonable pricing. First and foremost, I have to admit that I did not think Slices Pizza would not last long, not because of anything to do with their food, but the fact their location has gone through many business changes and Slices Pizza (which I will shorthand to SP for the remainder of the review) was the location's current... well... identity. Maybe the biggest reason why SP, or the location SP is at, is often passed by is how entering and exiting the strip mall is setup. You have to drive all the way to the other end of the strip mall to enter and exit despite SP being on the other end of the strip mall with no entrance/exit of their own. I would have passed SP if it weren't for my church's decision to eat here for lunch after service. Ergo, this is my first time eating here, and I hope it won't be my last. What I got was very good, but compared to other Italian and/or pizzerias, I have to rate them on the high-end of average. As I always say, I compare American pizza to American pizza in accordance to location. If I really wanted to be a stickler, almost ALL American pizza - which includes the BIG3 (New York, Chicago, Detroit) - would be severely lacking compared to traditional Italian pizza that I have eaten from Italy. But as an American slice, what SP serves is on average, but like I said, high-end. I ordered the margherita and caprese pizzas and they were cooked well in their brick-style oven and served conditionally well. However, there are many pizza places that have the same expertise and deliver the same quality. With that in mind, SP is good, but just as good as the "common good" pizzeria. To me, they don't have the standout as Genna or Pizza Gallery. The garlic knots, well, they were good, too. Can't really mess up garlic knots unless you really try to. And to top it off, the restaurant had the overarching themes of a typical New York style Italian restaurant (Italian flags, checkered tableclothes, etc.) and the staff was both helpful and friendly. Restrooms, at least the men's restroom, was clean, too. Ultimately, I would return here if I happen to want pizza and be nearby, but I am not driving out of the way to eat here. Like I said, SP is not bad, but they are a dime a dozen thus far. Maybe my review will update when I try their classic Italian dishes, but as of now, I am simply saying they are good, and if you choose to eat here at least for the pizza, you wouldn't do anything wrong choosing them. If SP's food stands out from other Italian restaurants, then I might consider improving the rating. However, if they remain good on averge across the board, they'll get another star if they are at least consistent. read more

Ordered for takeout and picked up the pizza. Used the online menu to order 1 medium pizza with 5 regular toppings and 1 personal small pizza with 5 regular toppings. The cost was an unbelievable $47.00. The receipt showed no breakdown of the costs which were not in line with the costs shown on the online menu. Will not be visiting this restaurant again. I am shocked at how this place has the high rating it does. We came in for lunch today and ordered two lunch specials, The lunch special is a slice, salad and drink. We also ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The dough tasted like frozen crust that was improperly thawed and the sauce on the pizza had little to no flavor. The cheese was low grade cheese. It wasn't the worst I've ever had but I would definitely not come here again. Then we got our bill and it was almost $35.00 for two lunch specials and mozzarella sticks. I do not recommend this place and I'm suspicious of how they have such high reviews, a lot of reviews from accounts with no name or pictures that have only 1 review and said review is of this place only, very suspicious. read more

Great breakfast and everything else! Been here twice for breakfast and once for lunch (pictured) Stromboli was excellent and HUGE. Leftovers lasted me for 3 days of lunches. Pizza and other dishes very good. The breakfasts are very well priced and also tasty. They had a variety of the usual omelets, meats, eggs, and pancakes. An employee who I will leave unnamed explained to me how they do not receive tips, and when I came up to the counter to pay I asked one of the managers "Do you all split the tips?" Which she responded with "Yes". Not only is this unfair to the hard working servers, but lying to customers about where their money is going is very unacceptable. When we informed them the website states $50, they said they could not adjust the prices on line because 'we do not have access to the website'. Thats really not our problem, but worse, they would not honor the online price, the same one we have always been charged. This little family owned Italian eatery has become our favorite after playing pickleball with the girls. The family is a mother and son ( Joey, how more authentic does that get?!) duo who work hard to provide you with great service and food. You will be greeted with fresh garlic rolls dripping in olive oil and garlic with Parmesan on top. They have great luncheon specials that can't be beat and dinner sized meals that will fill you for the rest of the day in a good way. They offer traditional Italian foods and burgers and wings . You can even get Spumoni ice cream! They are also open for breakfast seven days a week and have early riser specials. On weekend mornings there is a line going down the sidewalk. My mom has been wanting to try Slices since she saw that it was voted "Best Pizza" in some publication, plus, it's about a mile away from her house. Hence why my fiance and I brought her here. Slices is easy to miss as it's at the very end of a very plain looking plaza that looks like it should contain doctor's offices, but it's right on a main road (Eau Gallie Boulevard) near Turtle Mound Road (a small street, not a traffic light). This counter service restaurant is minimal in decor, but it highlights amazing woodwork from a local artist. It's also very clean and well-lit with natural light pouring in from the windows. The owner and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I just wish I had high praises for the food. I ordered a "Signature Slice," which is essentially a dolled up slice of cheese pizza. It was pretty average. We also ordered their over-roasted chicken wings since my fiance and I love to try wings most places we eat at. They were just okay as well and so was the huge, complimentary meatball that the owner gave us. The meat just wasn't seasoned enough and the marinara sauce was pretty standard as well. My mom ordered a Mediterranean side salad and enjoyed it after she picked out the excessive (in her opinion) kalamata olives and she said that her eggplant Parmesan was pretty average. My fiance ordered a Philly cheese steak and he thought they forgot to add cheese because the amount of cheese was so minimal. However, I will have to say that I did enjoy the Dill Pickle pizza since I've never had that type of pizza before (novelty) and I really like pickles. So, I'm glad we got to satisfy my mom's curiosity, but we'll probably stick to our usual pizza places for now. read more

I believe there are new owners and they made this a great experience! (I have been here prior to the new management/owners and it always felt so disorganized and my order has been wrong on many occasions... I decided to give them another go hearing there was a change in staff) I called to place a to go order and the gentleman that took my order was very kind and helpful. Made this such an easy order and same upon my pick up. I was greeted and treated like family for the all of 1 minute I was in there. It felt like home! The pizzas were HUGE and generous with toppings. The Hawaiian pizza is my husbands favorite and he has tried everyone in town, this was one of his favs. My white margarita was also delish! It didn't have pizza sauce of any kind and normally I like a Alfredo but again, this had great flavor and didn't even need the sauce. The crust had a nice crisp bottom, while still a bit doughy and fluffy on top! I will absolutely be ordering again and very excited to try some items other than pizza that they offer! Ate here for lunch. It can be a bit confusing getting to the parking lot but that's not the fault of the owners. The place looks cozy. I was greeted right away by the counter person. I ordered a regular slice and a grandma slice. The slices were ready in a reasonable amount of time. Service was great. The regular slice tasted great. Better than average. The crust was well done, the sauce and cheese were very good. The grandma slice was a little bready and seemed under cooked. A little below average. Overall a good place to eat pizza. Having lived in Manhattan for almost two decades I have enjoyed some of the best pizza on the planet. I've also been to Naples, Italy the birthplace of modern pizza where you can get a pie so good it will make you cry and then beg for more. To me pizza is an art form not just a food and I make it by hand at home often. I have heard good thing about Slices for some time, so I thought we'd give it a go. When we arrived we were greeted and offered to take any table we wanted. Clearly table service was not heing offered and the restaurant was empty at 130pm. We looked at our menu and ordered at the counter. We ordered a white pizza and a meatball parm. It took about 20 minutes to get our order, not too long but a wait. The pizza came out first. It was a good white pizza, hot, and tasty. It did lack sophistication that others in the area excel but it was good. The meatball parm was overly sauced which made it very messy. I have heard good things about Maria's meatballs but I'm sad to report that though tender they lacked much flavor at all. Tasted like a bland meatloaf. The sauce too was very bland and not very satisfying. Other in the area do a better job, some excel at a meatball parm. So there you have it. The good and the ugly. Slices was great! I went at 6:00 on a Sunday and we had the outdoor seating all to ourselves. This is a wonderfully PET FRIENDLY restaurant with great pizza. I order a slice of pizza, and it was huge! Easily enough food for me. My husband ordered a Philly Cheese-steak and he really enjoyed it. However, by far the best food we ordered were the garlic knots! They were DELICIOUS!!!! Just a perfect amount of garlic, butter, and Parmesan cheese.
