From the first meeting with Steve, he was honest, upfront, and helpful. We had an idea of what we wanted, but I appreciated his insight and professionalism in a few things he mentioned. Price: we got a bunch of quotes, Above All was right in the middle. Not the cheapest, but we cared about someone doing the job RIGHT. His crew does it all, moves sprinklers, checks drainage, etc. Service: Steve told me it would only take a day to rip out our old concrete patio and install a new one. I figured it would take at least 2-3 days considering the other companies we met with. He said that he "brings an army." I was WRONG. The day of install, Steve's crew showed up on time, ripped out the old concrete and by 4pm were finishing up. It was amazing how efficient and detailed each crew member was. Steve was there most of the day, not just overseeing his crew, but checking every single aspect of the job as if it were his own. The end result was amazing and again, couldn't be happier with our choice to use Above All Masonry.

They are super hard working and care deeply about doing a great job, always aiming to please the client. The price quoted, was also quite reasonable, especially given their attention to detail and service. Steve is wonderful to work with and also has a great eye. As a designer, I appreciate that and enjoyed interacting with him. We later contracted them to do additional work at our property, give the positive experience we had with them. The only pity was that we previously hired another firm to do the plantings, which took weeks to complete, given they sent few men each day to do the work. We met Marty by a referral when looking to update the front of our home. Our original pavers were 40+ years old. We loved the unique shape and style but needed a refresh. From start to finish, Marty was punctual, communicated well, delivered beautiful stone work and offered very competitive pricing. We used a combination of bluestone, cobblestone, culturestone and Cambridge cobalt pavers. MJD nailed the half moon shape and retained the look we adored and even added a planters box to highlight tree we have out front. We loved it so much, fast forward one year later we brought back MJD for our back patio. Work included steppingstones, full "figure 8" pool coping and pavers including plumbing (which MJD coordinated), columns to our bar, and a planters box. Perhaps it was their first job with me 4 years ago but I have learned a lot since they came and…read morewent. They did paver walkways and around thee pool at my house. The mistakes and poor workmanship are far tooo many to list here. They didn't even use polymeric sand as they were supposed to for the entire job. They did not lay a concrete foundation for the pavers, drilled holes for the pool ladder in the wrong spot requiring me to buy a new ladder, and there is much much more. My neighbor had recommended them but has now cut ties due to another job they screwed up. NOW, about 4 years later (the problems started at 1 year) I have to hire someone to power wash between my pavers, reset many of them and properly install the polymeric sand as should have been done at first. The pavers are tilting away from the walkway and the whole area that was not properly installed (most of it) needs to be re-done. Unless Corey has learned since doing my job how to do this work professionally, I would stay away from him. When confronted with the workmanship he was hostile to the point where he was intimidating and just stuck with the fact that he underestimated the cost. Now after all this time I have finally gotten the gumption to tell the story as it was. I have photos for proof of how he left the property. So, should you decide to use this firm, learn first about how it's supposed to be done and them watch and make certain they do it correctly.

We lined the larger driveway with a small retaining wall along my neighbors side. Everyone of his guys are cordial and they all seem to work like a well oiled machine. After having other companies to give estimates I'm so happy we decided on pure! Everything came out so perfectly we've already contracted with them for a new built in BBQ and firepit this spring.
