Dr Brannigan is compassionate, experienced, extraordinarily bright ... and caring. His entire staff is exactly the same ... professional, kind, always attentive. I've been an attorney for many years and have exacting standards for professionals in any field. I know the difference among them. Our first implant resulted in no pregnancy. Both my wife and I were disappointed, especially after the regimen of hormones and egg extraction. But not only did we have no complaint about Dr Brannigan's expertise, we absolutely trusted him and his staff to continue a second time. There were absolutely no flaws in his procedures. Implant doesn't always result in pregnancy. Second time around ... bingo! Baby! (Maybe twins. Too early to tell.) I don't think the fact that you weren't married or had previous children was a reason for being turned away, but I do know that Dr. Shapiro has been full for years. I, myself, came to see her as a lesbian who had 4 children through donor insemination and she was always fine with it. Over my years with her she has been super attentive to all of my concerns and has seen me through some mental health crises/suicide attempt, caring for my very aged mother, the suicide of my son, and most recently, my transitioning to male. Although she's never had a trans patient before, she has taken over prescribing my hormone therapy and has been instrumental in getting me the letters I've needed for gender affirming surgery. I am beyond grateful for the years I've had with her and dread the day she retires (which I know is no longer on the distant horizon). I don't really think she needs any 5 star reviews since as I mentioned her practice is full, but I felt I had to offer a counter opinion to the individual that felt they were turned away because of having an "alternative" (?) lifestyle. And he had the audacity to use those scare tactics on me. Let me just reiterate that. I was already feeling discouraged about my health problem and I was going to this provider for help. I was complying, trying multiple medications that I could not afford, doing the lifestyle changes they recommended, and they felt as though I was not taking it seriously and made me feel awful about myself. Every time I saw Sarah after that, she was extremely hostile with me and would not give me the time of day. As a practice they are completely untrustworthy. I have a friend who have brought in their infant and were given the wrong vaccine. I have friends that have also attempted to seek care from this office and also felt like they were not given the time of day or talked down to. Not only does she talk down to patients, Sarah also talks down to the support staff. And like several other reviews, getting a referral sent was a nightmare. And calling to the office is a nightmare. To get to the point, I don't trust these providers and I will never return to Fairhaven Integrative Health and I strongly do not recommend this clinic to anyone.

Today, I was scheduled for a 2:50 appt, they took be back around 3:05, and I was still sitting in the exam room waiting for a physician at 3:50. This is completely unacceptable. I understand that physicians get behind for a myriad of reasons, but if they are running late, the office should give you a call and let you know so you have the option to reschedule. This is not a unique circumstance, although it is the longest. I have been made to wait for inordinately long periods of time many times over the years. No longer. I do not recommend NSFM. It seems as though they are more focused on patient volume than patient satisfaction.
