But ever since the COVID started taking over our normal lives, businesses were forced to close during the shutdown. When it was time for business to start opening back up slowly, many business were not able to come back and had no choice to shut down permanently. Unfortunately, this happened to the place where my stylists used to work. But luckily he was able to find a new salon where can work and he contacted me when he found out when can start working again, which is what led me to this place. I have not been to this place before but I felt very comfortable and safe coming in. They have very detailed and strict guidelines to ensure everyone's safety. For example, customers had to call in from their cars upon arrival so they can make sure there's plenty of room for social distancing. We had to use hand santizer sanitizer when we walk through the front door. We all have to wear masks the entire time during the visits. In addition to the safety rules, the place looked very clean and organize. The beauty chairs are positioned so customers will not be breathing to each other because the wall mirrors are placed between each chair. Touchless payment method is used so you can pay directly to your stlist and you dont have to wait and pay at the front desk. This location might be a little out of the way from my house, but I dont mind driving a little further so I can still support local businesses.

There were several friendly women at the desk and I asked about getting a gel manicure and a regular pedicure. I also wanted an extra coat for protection. They made a point to look at my nails first to check out what I had on. I was quoted $45 for the gel manicure, & $5 for the extra strengthening coat, plus $35 for a pedicure. I made an appointment and arrived on time a few hours later. They have numerous stations and the decor is very nice. All the technicians were wearing black. I was introduced to Jenny and told to choose a polish color. Jenny led me to her station so she could remove my previous gel polish. While the gel was soaking off, she moved me to a pedicure chair. There were big screen TVs around and she brought me a bottle of water. The water in the tub started out cold., but after it warmed up I received an amazing pedicure! The polish looked great and my feet and legs were rubbed with lotion and then wrapped in a warm towel . (The massage chair was nice too!) When I finished it was $80 as quoted and my fingers and toes look great! I think I may have found my new nail salon in Plantation!

Prices aren't clearly displayed, which caused confusion from the start. My nail technician was Annie, and she rushed through my manicure. I asked for a white tip with a gel top coat. The staff at the front desk asked if I wanted hard gel, and I said yes because I'd never heard of it before and assumed they were recommending the right service. How was I supposed to know the difference? When I questioned the service, Annie told me I was wrong because I hadn't explained what I wanted correctly--even though she wasn't at the front desk during the conversation. She then told me I should have come to her directly. That's not something you say to a customer, especially when I didn't even know who my nail technician would be. I also didn't appreciate her attitude. Within a week, my thumbnail chipped and broke off, and black marks started appearing under some of the white tips. I returned to have the issues fixed and asked to speak with a manager, but it felt like talking to a wall. Annie repaired the two damaged nails but then told me that hard gel "wasn't for me." My response was that the problem wasn't the service--it was the application. Shortly afterward, more nails started popping off. I ended up going to another nail salon, where I paid $5 to have the one nail repaired, and I also had to buy press-on nails to match. I spent $65 at Venetian, plus more money afterward, for a total of about $80. What a waste of money. I will never return. This business needs better customer service and better training.

I was well accommodated from the start when I changed what I wanted from a gel manicure to tips with dip last minute. Jolie did a wonderful job on my pedicure and manicure. She cleaned up my cuticles well and took her time. I've been rushed numerous times throughout salons in south fl but she had certain techniques that my nail lady of 10 years in Chicago had, so I could tell she knew what she was doing. Zeus did my tip with dip. Phenomenal job, I gave him a photo and he executed it well. I've gotten tips with dip on my nails before and they looked terrible- too chunky for my tiny nail beds, but Zeus took his time to shave down the tips so they are not as chunky. I feel like with this location it is always a hit or miss. It depends who's working the kind of treatment that you get. Some days the girls are super accommodating and welcoming and some days you call to make an appointment and you feel like you are bothering their day. Personally I feel like customer service should be priority always. The other thing that I feel is a hit or miss at this location is the cleanliness. I came on a Friday at 7pm and there was wax residue all over the floor. When she was starting the service she also apologized because they didn't have any more cotton rounds. So I feel like the standard of service that I am used to receiving at a European wax center wasn't there today. I only come here out of convenience because sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
