So where do I start?! I saw a post about Tova's services some months ago and put off going. Today I decided I really wanted to finally try a vajacial (which is not offered at my usual waxing studio) so I said to myself 'Hey! Let me contact that person from the post'. Long story short, it was the best decision I made today. From the initial phone call I made to Tova inquiring about an appointment, I knew I was in good hands. She was kind, courteous, and polite enough to squeeze me in for a full Brazilian wax, vajacial, leg wax and underarm wax at 6 PM on a Saturday. A couple things to note: 1. When I got there I INSTANTLY felt welcomed! She had on an FSU shirt (GO NOLES!) so we shared that likeness already. 2. Her suite is super cute, clean, and quaint. 3. She is funny (as hell) and made me comfortable throughout the entire experience. 4. My process was practically PAINLESS. I've frequented many other waxing studios and I've never had a wax as painless as hers. 5. Her attention to detail is incredible! All in all, I found a NEW esthetician and I couldn't be happier. I went back and absolutely loved my experience so much that I fell asleep during my facial. For me... that is not the usual. I really wanted to rave about Tovas line - Godish skin Min private daily care. I have used it for over a month and wow what a difference! I love it! My skin in my nether regions are moisturized, smooth, and most importantly the oil blend does not give me ingrown hairs or bumps from daily use. I am so amazed with Tova, I couldn't wait to do her review. So I am sitting in my car just after my wax job and wanted to say, I am in my AARP years and this is my first brazilian wax. Tova was attentive, sweet, quick and my waxing was virtually no more uncomfortable than that when I wax my upper lip, etc. I even watched Men in Black on her TV screen as she quickly and expectedly did the waxing. It doesn't get any better than this! Tova is the sweetest, most talented soul I've ever met. It was my first time getting a Brazilian and she coached me through it all, start to finish! She was constantly communicating with me about what she was doing, how she was doing it, and what I would expect to feel. There wasn't a single moment where I felt uncomfortable or awkward. She made me feel extremely comfortable and I'm so grateful to have met her. She offers a variety of services that I will definitely be going back for! I finally got a chance to visit Skincare by Tova. I received the Bronze Wax Package(underarms, Brazilian and half of legs) and I must say she was very professional and knowledgeable about everything I asked her. I had never heard of a vajacial before so I decided to try one with Tova and I am absolutely in love with the results! The service she provided was beyond excellent, she definitely exceeded my expectations and previous experiences with Brazilian waxes! She made me feel so comfortable from the start, she explained every step and answered any questions I had and made sure I wasn't allergic to any of the products she was using. I literally copied and pasted this review from Google so I can show my girl some more love! Where do I even start? I started coming to Tova since last year when she was located in Miami and haven't stopped ever since. I currently live in Texas now but whenever I go back home, I immediately book a full body wax and a facial from her. This woman is so lovely, inside and out, her and I talk as if we're old friends! We immediately bonded after I boo hoo cried on her table during a facial mask and homegirl was literally wiping my tears! As a fellow Caribbean woman, she is such a hard worker and she really knows her stuff! I get compliments from everyone after she hooks me up and the full body wax that I always get is GODLY. Tova is truly a waxing ange from the kingdom of Waxanda. She made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in, to each follicle being ripped from my skin, to the constant encouragement she gave me for withstanding the temporary pain. I have an esthetician that I normally go to but I decided to try someone new. I contacted Tova and booked the same day. I enjoyed the facial and the jelly mask. The acne light therapy. The microdermabrasion. She is very nice. Made you feel relaxed. My skin was nicely hydrated and supple. I can't wait to go back. It was a splurge that I needed at the time. The facial I had with the add ons was $140 but they start as low as $40-$60 I believe, and are customizable to your needs. She also does waxing and has a skincare line that she developed and uses in you. Everything felt great. I have sensitive skin and there were no breakouts. My Brazilian and underarm wax experience with Tova was amazing. She was so sweet and personable and really made me feel welcome and comfortable. She was thorough and obviously takes pride in what she does. I went while she was having a Miami Carnival based discount which cut the price of what are already really affordable services. The wax she uses is MAGIC. It was practically painless which is a lot coming from me because I have a very low pain threshold. I was also impressed by the fact that I had, literally, no skin irritation during or after the process. Nada. Zilch. I could hardly believe it! I honestly forgot that I'd had the service done until I got home. Total gamechanger. And her skincare products, which she formulates herself, are amazing. She was kind enough to give me samples of her face wash, facial moisturizer, and private area oil. I'll be completely honest and say I was blown away by how much I liked them and almost three weeks later I use all three products every day and incorporated them into my (admittedly) extensive skin care routine. The face wash is solid competition for my $40 face wash. Sad to say, I have to drop my other wax studio. I have a wax studio, spa, and esthetician, in Tova and I couldn't be happier. I received my first facial on 7/1/21 by Tova. She is everything!! From her technique, to her knowledge on skin care, to her down to earth personality. It feels like I've know her for years because she is real and a boss chick! She is like the big sister I've always wanted. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed while I received my facial. She has such a warm and welcoming energy and explained all the steps she was taking and the background of the all-natural ingredients. I had the deep cleansing + microdermabrasion. I found Tova by chance on Yelp because I was looking for a "vajacial." I honestly can't express how friendly and comforting she was. I felt like I was chatting with someone I had known forever. She explained the process every step of the way and gave me tips on maintaining in between waxing appointments. We had to use hand santizer sanitizer when we walk through the front door. We all have to wear masks the entire time during the visits. In addition to the safety rules, the place looked very clean and organize. The beauty chairs are positioned so customers will not be breathing to each other because the wall mirrors are placed between each chair. Touchless payment method is used so you can pay directly to your stlist and you dont have to wait and pay at the front desk. This location might be a little out of the way from my house, but I dont mind driving a little further so I can still support local businesses.

I made an appointment and arrived on time a few hours later. They have numerous stations and the decor is very nice. All the technicians were wearing black. I was introduced to Jenny and told to choose a polish color. Jenny led me to her station so she could remove my previous gel polish. While the gel was soaking off, she moved me to a pedicure chair. There were big screen TVs around and she brought me a bottle of water. The water in the tub started out cold., but after it warmed up I received an amazing pedicure! The polish looked great and my feet and legs were rubbed with lotion and then wrapped in a warm towel . (The massage chair was nice too!) When I finished it was $80 as quoted and my fingers and toes look great! I think I may have found my new nail salon in Plantation!

Prices aren't clearly displayed, which caused confusion from the start. My nail technician was Annie, and she rushed through my manicure. I asked for a white tip with a gel top coat. The staff at the front desk asked if I wanted hard gel, and I said yes because I'd never heard of it before and assumed they were recommending the right service. How was I supposed to know the difference? When I questioned the service, Annie told me I was wrong because I hadn't explained what I wanted correctly--even though she wasn't at the front desk during the conversation. She then told me I should have come to her directly. That's not something you say to a customer, especially when I didn't even know who my nail technician would be. I also didn't appreciate her attitude. Within a week, my thumbnail chipped and broke off, and black marks started appearing under some of the white tips. I returned to have the issues fixed and asked to speak with a manager, but it felt like talking to a wall. Annie repaired the two damaged nails but then told me that hard gel "wasn't for me." My response was that the problem wasn't the service--it was the application. Shortly afterward, more nails started popping off. I ended up going to another nail salon, where I paid $5 to have the one nail repaired, and I also had to buy press-on nails to match. I spent $65 at Venetian, plus more money afterward, for a total of about $80. What a waste of money. I will never return. This business needs better customer service and better training.

I received a manicure and pedicure. They had many colors to choose from. I chose a lavender color. It ended up being very thick. I had that experience at another nail salon and just let it go. Then I regretted it later at home. It started peeling quickly. I did not want that to happen again. I mentioned it to the nail tech and she did not want to use a different polish. I had to insist. She finally agreed to redo the two nails she had polished. This put a strain on the experience. Overall, I am happy with the way my nails turned out but I am not sure I would return.

I feel like with this location it is always a hit or miss. It depends who's working the kind of treatment that you get. Some days the girls are super accommodating and welcoming and some days you call to make an appointment and you feel like you are bothering their day. Personally I feel like customer service should be priority always. The other thing that I feel is a hit or miss at this location is the cleanliness. I came on a Friday at 7pm and there was wax residue all over the floor. When she was starting the service she also apologized because they didn't have any more cotton rounds. So I feel like the standard of service that I am used to receiving at a European wax center wasn't there today. I only come here out of convenience because sometimes you have to do what you have to do.
