I paid in advance for what I was led to believe was a "locking" gas cap. When I picked up my motorcycle, I discovered that the new gas cap was missing the locking mechanism. When I complained that I prepaid for a "locking" gas cap, I was told that I would have to pay an additional $80 if I wanted the locking mechanism installed. It is highly unethical to lead me to believe I was purchasing a locking gas cap when in fact there was no locking mechanism in the gas cap. I was told that I could open the gas cap with a screwdriver! Apparently, KRW Cycles fails to realize that the life's blood of most businesses is repeat customers. My experience with KRW Cycles has left me dissatisfied and frustrated. Consequently, I will not take my business to them in the future.

The front mounting brackets were not placed in the correct position so the holes did not line up with the mounting bolts on the motorcycle. Very poor quality and fit. After I complained they gave me a choice between a partial refund or returning the seat. I had already modified the seat so it could be mounted on the bike because I had a long ride coming up, so I choose the partial refund. I will be buying a different seat to replace the Brock's seat soon as having a wrinkled seat on a $25,000+ bike would bother me every time I rode it. So I would rate them between a 1 (not good) and 2 (could be better).

When I pulled up I had a hard time finding anywhere to park because the lot was so crowded, but it was no big deal at first. I went in and told a man about the appointment I had made (2 days in advance mind you) and he told me with an attitude that it would be at least a few hours because they had no room in the garage. I said okay, thinking I really didn't have time because of work but whatever (hence making an appointment). Now I usually am pretty understanding but this is where it got ridiculous. The woman behind me in line (she also parked directly behind my car so I know I was there first) went to the desk and said she needed an oil change and something else done, no appointment. They took her keys no issue and one of the mechanics drove her car around. I was dumbfounded. Now maybe she was dropping the car off, but it didn't seem like it. It all felt incredibly wrong to me that she was taken care of no issue and I was met with a stupid look for questioning why I couldn't get in at my scheduled time. Beyond all of that, it took me about 10 minutes to leave because of cars parked behind me and having to slowly maneuver around a disorganized mess of cars. If you want friendly, organized service that sticks to their word, I would go somewhere else.

The dealership itself is worth a visit. It's located in a really cool historic warehouse building and has a laid-back atmosphere that's completely different from the typical dealership experience. Pricing was straightforward, paperwork was painless, and I left feeling like I got a fair deal. Most importantly, I felt like they treated me with respect whether I bought a motorcycle or not. Hello, I purchased a…read moreused motorcycle here that was sold "as is," but advertised as "well maintained." I was told the bikes typically go through a 16-point inspection. Test rides were not allowed, which should have been a clear warning sign. As part of the deal, I negotiated for new tires to be installed. However, they were not properly balanced (front weights missing), which raised concerns right away. Shortly after purchase, I found numerous additional issues that contradict the idea of a meaningful inspection: - Brake fluid in severely degraded condition and front brake cylinder beginning to cease. - Loose and missing fasteners (foot pegs, fairing) - Valve clearances significantly too tight and partially dragging - Contaminated drive shaft oil and fork oil - Fork misalignment causing the bike to pull - Carburetor pilot circuits clogged, leading to unstable idle and surging To be fair, Matt offered to rebalance the wheels if I brought them in off the bike. However, given the overall condition, I lost confidence and had the work done elsewhere where they had to add a significant amount of balancing weight. I understand "as is" means the buyer takes on risk. However, describing a bike in this condition as "well maintained" and referencing a 16-point inspection is, in my opinion, misleading. Advice: Do not purchase a bike here without a test ride and a thorough independent inspection.
