If I could leave zero stars, I would!…read more We ordered the afternoon tea for five people ($35pp). A few of us have dietary restrictions (fish and nuts) and clearly stated them. We asked for anything with fish be served on a separate plate. The waiter agreed to do so. We got the teas first. They added 50% sweetness to two pots of tea without asking if we wanted the tea sweet. It was pretty much undrinkable unless you were a hummingbird. We waited over an hour for the food, with mostly undrinkable tea (though the waiter did bring a few paper cups of water), and we actually had to flag down the waiter to ask when we were going to get our food. When it came, all the salmon was intermingled with the rest of the food on the same plate. There were some cucumber sandwiches and some sliced cucumbers just sitting on the plate on no bread because it was multi-grain and had seeds, NOT NUTS! The cucumber slices were next to salmon slices, also on no bread. Unfortunately, the salmon was touching just about everything on the plate, so those of us with restrictions couldn't eat most of the meal. Not only was this disappointing, it was also dangerous for people with life threatening food allergies. All in all, it was almost 2 hours for a simple afternoon tea. The lack of regard and respect for people with life threatening allergies is a disgrace. The atmosphere is nice but the service and food were terrible. Such a disappointing experience for a couple of our group who had never experienced a formal afternoon tea, and for those of us who regularly do afternoon tea.....we're just disgusted.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

You order the food by scanning the bar code and ordering on your phone. Ambience: This is a quiet restaurant with no music and can hear other people talking since the area is close together. Curry Fish Balls: This was so-so and could have tasted a little better. Rice noodle with peanut sauce: This was delicious and I would definitely get this again. Baked fried rice with curry and beef: My brother said this was delicious and the curry tasted better than the curry fish ball. Baked pasta with chicken: This was delicious as well and had just the right amount of taste. Hong Kong Milk Tea: This does not come with sugar even when you order it with sugar. You have to put your own sugar. Overall: We would definitely come back here again to try the other menu items that they have.

Beef Stew Ho Fun (4.25/5): Very enjoyable. The beef stew was super tender and the ho fun noodles had a great texture, though the broth could have used a touch more depth and flavor Baked Pork Chop over Fried Rice in Tomato Sauce (3/5): The sauce had great flavor, but adding peppers and red onions felt a bit unusual. You don't typically see those in traditional baked pork chop dishes, and they didn't quite go well imo Overall, a solid spot for a HK cafe

This dessert shop offers authentic Taiwanese treats featuring grass jelly, tofu pudding, taro mochi balls, red bean soup, and the aforementioned shaved ice, along with egg waffles, various teas and other beverages. The limited edition summer osmanthus series caught my eye, so I went for an osmanthus milk shaved ice, infused with condensed sweetened milk and osmanthus syrup, a cloud of almond tofu pudding on top, with mochi balls, red beans, and lychee jelly tucked around the base. The flavor of the cool fluffy shaved ice is subtly sweet, lightly creamy, with just a hint of floral, and the snow melts on your tongue. The osmanthus flavor is not very strong or fragrant, however, though I've never had successful encounters with commercial osmanthus-flavored things outside of Asia, as it's a very distinctive and delicate taste that's also one of my favorite scents and culinary condiments, so I'm very particular about its faithfulness. We ordered a large since it's only $1 more than the medium, so practically begs one to order the oversized version, which is enough for 2+ people to share. But why so enormous? How about offering a personal sized one for a little less? Premium as the ingredients are, $18 feels like a lot for shaved ice. Between us two adults and one small child we couldn't finish it, but I double dog dare you to try. It was good though, and satiated my craving for a proper milk snow dessert.

The menu is limited and they offer mainly Hong Kong style snacks and rice/spaghetti dishes. It is a self-serve, no tip restaurant so you'll need to either order their their kiosk machines, or there's QR codes available on the table for you to order from your phone. We ordered their slippery egg chicken rice combo with Hong Kong style milk tea with aged tangerines, a slippery egg rice with pork chop, and also baked pork chop rice with curry sauce and cheese. The slippery egg rice was on point. The eggs were silky, moist and velvety , almost custard like in texture. It was also rich and savory. I like how the chicken was lightly fried without having too much breading. They used chicken thighs so it was moist, tender and well seasoned. The fried pork chop, which was similar to pork katsu, was perfectly fried with a crispy, well seasoned crust which adhered well to the meat. The meat was juicy and succulent. The curry had a mild kick which I liked and there were also little pieces of carrots and potatoes in it. The only thing was I felt there was a little too much sauce as I felt the rice was drenched in it, which made it a little too rich for my liking. The lemon tea with aged tangerines was my favorite. The lemon tea tasted authentic. One of the best I've had including the ones I've tried in the Hong Kong style cafes in nyc. The tea flavor is intense which I can tell it's not just from a tea bag. The tea was balanced well with aged tangerines which added more citrusy and a subtle earthy flavor. The drink is bold yet refreshing. I was told they have a slushy version so I would go back to try it next time. It is self serve as I mentioned before as you will have to go get your own cutlery, plates and napkins at the table by the register. The food came out shortly after I placed my order and the staff were all very friendly. This is a good options for a quick lunch/dinner and price is very reasonable as you can get a dish plus a drink for $20 and under and you don't have to tip. I would return again for sure.

We paid full price and didn't get the discounted combo because we wanted to customize the steak temperature and sweetness of the drink. The XL Steak is described as a ribeye, but what we got was about 3.5 pieces of mystery meat full of tough gristle. We were spitting out every other bite because we literally couldn't chew through it. It honestly felt like they gave us whatever meat they had overstocked or left over. I also don't think they adjusted our milk tea. We requested 50% sweetness, but it wasn't sweet at all. It's not terrible and still drinkable, but definitely not what we expected. The steak was really bad, and unfortunately, we won't be returning.
