This year we refinished 6 decks. They striped the wood clean and went down to raw wood, which is really helpful to reestablish a good clean finish. We could only have them finish the decks on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they were very mindful of the schedule. When you have decks refinished they can not just do them day after day because they have to wait for curing. The key is understanding when the work is happening and communicating w/ Steve. Sometimes they need to wait for drying a few days after pressure washing and stripping. Then the varnish takes a few days and various recoating issues... This takes a lot of juggling to service a lot of clients. Explain your needs and you will have a thoughtful experience. We would recommend using Atlas Power Washing Again. Thank you Steve and Jose.

I initially chose this contractor based on price and high yelp reviews. They quoted me the lowest price to power wash my driveway and remove the paint from it. Compared to the others I reached out to, it was about $100 lower than the rest. However, after all was said and done, the total cost to me after factoring in the extra work needed to clean up, was much much higher. In total, the work took about 15 hours with the worker returning two more times after the initial work to complete the job on the driveway. I think both the contractor and I expected the work to take no more than a couple hours, since my driveway is only about 20x30'. My resulting water bill increase was about $200 from the constant water usage. Maybe the worker that showed up was new, but he did not seem very experienced in doing this. The safety part of me was a little bit uneasy seeing him with no gloves, eye protection, or any other PPE besides rubber boots when working with high pressure tools and chemicals. The biggest issue to me was the housekeeping aspect. It took many hours to clean up the mess left as a result of the work. I recently re-mulched in front of my house before he came to clean the driveway, but the work left paint chips all over; from little bits and pieces, to larger chunks in both my new mulch, and also my two neighbors' yards. I had to dispose of all the new mulch and replace it. Also, spent several hours helping the neighbors clean up their yards which were also affected by the work. The scope of work was limited to my front driveway, but the impact extended into my garage and entryway as well. My garbage bins and bike got debris on them. In my entryway I had some specialty wood craft materials stored, which got damaged as a result of the runoff from the work. Unfortunately, I lost about $1000 worth of material, which I thought was far enough away from the power washing work being done to be safe. Overall, I would give the contractor 2 stars. Technically the driveway power washing work he was contracted to do was completed. I really hoped he would have taken better care to prevent damaging and affecting other areas not being power washed, such as my garage, entryway, and neighbor yards. And for cost, while the quoted price was lower than the rest by about $100, I might have avoided the $1500+ in extra costly cleanup and damage by going with a more careful and experienced contractor to do the work. If you do decide to go with this contractor, make sure you take the extra time beforehand to move everything else well out of the way, or find a way to protect it.

Upon arrival I saw the building had a bunch of loose paint on exterior walls and still had plant debris that could have been easily pressure washed off. I sent him pictures and called him to let him know that the job didn't look finished. He gave me a much of excuses and try to insult my and my contractors intelligence on this matter. This is not our first rodeo. He basically stated he would not come back to make it right and that I need to just pay him his money even though he didn't do the agreed upon work I will pay him his money because hats who I am but will never do business and never refer anyone to him

Fast forward to me living in the woods in Mill Valley 20+ years later: We moved into our home back in 2014 and most of the windows in our house haven't been cleaned since. Gasp! The reason for that is that we have skylights that are very hard to clean and other windows that are just too hard to reach for us. (High-ceiling houses are great but do come with challenges.) I hired ASF Clean Team for gutter cleaning and repairs. The service agreement included cleaning the…read moreentire gutter system and flushing/testing the gutters and downspouts. After the service was completed, I observed debris remaining in multiple sections of the gutter system and took photographs documenting my concerns. Based on what I observed, I did not believe the entire gutter system had been fully cleaned as described in the scope of work. I contacted the company on the day of the service and requested a follow-up visit. Although a return visit was discussed, it ultimately never took place, and my concerns regarding the completeness of the cleaning were never fully addressed. Because of this, I did not feel the work fully matched my expectations for a complete gutter cleaning. To be fair, ASF did perform significant work, including gutter repairs and cleaning in other areas, and the company ultimately worked with me to reach a mutually agreed resolution of the matter. Future customers may wish to inspect the gutters carefully after service and document any concerns promptly.
