Needed rocks for my tank for aquaculture. They have to be a certain size so that they don't go down the drain if I ever need to empty the water from my tank. It also helps if the rocks are porous. Knowing already what I needed it was just going in and seeing if they had what I needed. As soon as I entered I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. Right away the worker was able to point me to exactly what I needed. At first I didn't see bags of that size but he was able to go in the back and grab me one. I thought for the amount that I needed and at that size it would be much more expensive but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was quite affordable. Plus the worker was able to help bring it out to my truck since it was a 40 lbs bag. Now that is service! Definitely will be back. read more

What a great place for pavers, rocks, stone benches ( that will last forever or at least a thousand years). And good prices. An amazing marble bench at $785. Even in Arizona the capital of stone that's a good value. I highly recommend a visit for your gardening needs. The staff is professional and courteous. They have a few plants but mostly permanent type specialty pots of all sizes. Hey perfect for the Korean wife!!!! Haha. Just kidding but they are in all sizes. I stumbled upon this place going to Re-Use Hawaii...I'm now obsessed with their inventory of pots, river rocks, water features, plants, succulents, etc. I've been going at least once a month. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, loads your car and even makes sure the pottery has padding in between in case its too close in vehicle. I started purchasing a few pots, then Orbs and now I'm looking for more pots to decorate around our home (inside and out) and working on a river rock landscape. I love the assortment and color selections, not to mention they bring in pottery from companies that are 100 years in business and they are reasonable. They also provide pottery from China that is super reasonable if you don't want to spurge on pottery, this is your go to place. We recently redid a section of our back wall and used their river rocks to create a focal point and keep the weeds from growing, see pictures. Geobunga is your spot if you're looking for gardening supplies including soil, pots, planters, etc. There are a few more "urban gardening" shops in town but Geobunga is a little off the beaten path (in a warehouse area behind UH medical school / JABSOM) however you're rewarded with VERY reasonable prices and friendly service if you find the place! There's lots of free parking in their lot. There are lots of different pots, planters, stone features, gardening accents etc in addition to a small garden of live plants also at very reasonable prices. Went to all the usual places around town looking for large size ceramic pots & no one had any matching earth tone color sets we were looking for. Found lots of white, beige, turquoise, green, yellow, terracotta. Ended up going to Geobunga as the last stop & boy we were so glad we did ..found exactly what we wanted. They have a huge open air warehouse filled to the brim with all kinds of shapes, sizes & color pots you could imagine. They also have colored pebble types rocks that we plan to purchase soon for our succulent garden. Besides great products the staff are so chill and they have a friendly pet cat that cruises on the countertop where the cash register is. I think he might be their mascot. I found Geobunga pretty much by accident. I bought these pebbles from another store and I thought they were ridiculously priced too high so I started looking online for something cheaper. Because originally I bought a 4 pound bag of pebbles of $10.00. And I didn't know how many pebbles I needed so I bought four of those four pound bags totaling $40.00. Well I got home and just started looking for places that sell rocks or pebbles and I found Geobunga. Their website said that they were having a sale on pebbles for $10 a bag. Ooh I was all about that. I probably would have never known or visited Geobunga if I didn't look it up. It's really hidden on Keawe street. When I got there I really didn't know what to expect. Geobunga is a place where you can get supplies for landscaping your outdoor garden/patio/yard. They sell all kind of things like stone, pebbles, rocks, fountains, etc. It's pretty much anything that would make your outdoor area renovated or stand out more. The people there are super friendly. I must have stuck out like a sore thumb just looking around because they came to my rescue right away. I asked about their special online and they directed me to those bags. I didn't think that was enough so I asked them if they sell a bigger bag. They said yes and told me it came in a 40 pound bag. I thought whoa that's a lot of rocks. But then he told me the price. He said it was $11.99. Umm sold!! Without any more questions I whipped out my card to pay for the rocks. I felt like I scored the deal of the day. 40 pounds for $11.99 vs the other store were I paid $10 for 4 pounds! They even helped me load it into my car. Great service and great product. Two years ago, I renovated my home. I took the house down to the studs and had it rebuilt from top to bottom, inside and out. I sought out only the best materials snd cost was not a factor. Well, maybe a little. One of the things I really wanted was a beautiful gated entry. I wanted guests to come up to the gates and wonder what was behind them. And once they were let in, I want them to be greeted with a serene tropical garden with maybe one of those large ceramic pots with water overflowing. If you're going to dream, dream big I say! So during the construction, I purposely had the contractor create an area on both sides for this vision I had. And it sat like that for 2 years. This past Christmas, I hastily put together a garden for guests coming over. NO, it was not a covid super spreader event, just 3 good friends that I know are staying safe. This makeshift garden got my creative juices flowing again. So I thought, let's check out the water fountains at Geobunga, they have a store now in Kakaako. I didn't know what I wanted. I am pretty spontaneous. I know what I like and don't like a as me usually rely on emotion in my decision, it has to speak to me. I wanted big. They had big. But the colors were too bold for my taste. They had modern. Nah, I'm more attracted to something natural looking. Multiple fountains? That's a thought but it just didn't speak to me. I could tell Bobbie was trying his best to match me with what I was looking for but I was just not feeling it. Then he said "oh I forgot about this new fountain we just set up" BINGO! They hadn't even turned it on yet. The size was perfect! The color was natural looking with gold highlights, the sound was soothing, it was perfect!! And so were 2 other pots of varying sizes and design, but, with similar gold tones. I took all three! I had anticipated paying several thousand dollars and altogether it came out to less than a thousand. I've bought pots from their Waimanalo store and spent more like $200-300 for a large pot, plus delivery. These were $90-150 for 3-4-5 foot pots. The pump was$101 and the most expensive item was the water basin for $294. Whatever! This is going to be stunning! Geobunga is now a part of Bella Pietra. I first came across Bella Pietra at the Gentry Design Center when I was renovating my home. The owner, Layla, was great to work with. Not only was their choice of inventory superb, their sales style is very subtle. It's more about delivering what you are looking for versus making a sale. This style of salesmanship was mentored into Bobbie, my salesperson at Geobunga. I appreciate that. I have no problem dealing with pushy salespeople but am always glad when I don't have to deal with it, snd you know what, I probably spend more just because I feel comfortable and not pressured. Yes, I splurged today. But, I bought something magnificent that I've been procrastinating about for a long time. Geobunga, like Bella Pietra, has beautiful merchandise. Prices are very affordable snd there's something for everyone. You can spend a little or be extravagant. One thing you won't get is sold on something you don't really want. read more

I found out about this place after visiting Re-use Hawaii. It's a hidden gem. Most people wouldn't usually run across a this wonderful warehouse because it often the beaten path. I'm happy that I did. My experience has been nothing but positive. The people working here are very friendly and helpful. I feel like the people who shop here have the common interest of making their spaces natural and beautiful with stones, pots and landscaping. Beautiful selection of pots, landscaping rocks, fountains, etc. reasonable prices as well. The 5th of July was a huge sale and the place was packed. People claiming everything in sight. The young lady that was working was extremely helpful and incredibly kind. May have gone a little nuts and purchased far more than I could take home so she said I could claim my larger items during the week. I returned with my husband's newer van. The guys loading commented on how they were almost tempted to buy a minivan due to the seats automatically storing in the floor. So the reason for the one star. I'd have given a zero had it not been for the service I received a couple of days prior. The boys loading tried to shove pots obviously too large for the opening and would have smashed my doors had I not stopped them. When they did load into the back, they scrapped my bumper, gouging the paint. Then when my husband went to unload, we saw damage to the interior of our van. The folks at geobunga pushed the pot through the van via the side panels and RUINED my interior!!!! I had towels and blankets which obviously they didn't use. No care was given to my vehicle. Thoroughly disgusted and physically sick to my stomach. Why care for someone else's property? Absolutely disgusted.
