We have tried contacting him multiple times and haven't gotten a response. Now our calls are sent to voicemail. Finally, when it was connected without him, we were told there is a leak in what had been installed. We wanted to give him the opportunity to fix it but no one answers or calls back. Update: no response still. We had two plumbers come out and couldn't believe this is how it was left. There was also no shut off valve installed on the same floor which was out of code. Surprised a licensed plumber would leave anyone in such circumstances, especially with a small child in the home.

Joe arrived…read morepromptly and discovered that the mysterious emergency switch in our basement stairwell actually turns off the entire HVAC system, including the thermostat. Yikes for us, but easy for him to get the job done. He serviced our system and gave us an estimate on a replacement for the 22-year-old AC unit. We bought our own Google Learning Nest thermostat off Amazon, and you heard it here first folks, DON'T DO THAT! It wouldn't work and I regret not letting Joe provide it himself. He reinstalled the old thermostat and now we've got a tuned up HVAC system that runs better than ever. When the bell tolls on our ancient AC, we'll have Walsh & Son handle it all like the pros that they are. Thanks, Joe!

Bought new Navien NCB-240E Combo Boiler June 15, 2021 $12,464 called a year later to ask about descaling the heater. Shelby, who answers the phone would not give me a price after asking her 3 times. Said it was expensive each time. I did it myself since she was being arrogant. After 2 years of having no problems, I called to schedule a Diagnostic on the heater to make sure everything was working correctly. They send a tech over that didn't have much training and spent an hour on the phone for support. All was good. I had told the tech about the rude person I called and he told me that they are real sticklers for making sure you have them work on your system or they could be problematic. Took it for a grain of salt. At 4 year interval I had called them again just to come and do a diagnostic on my system. I also asked for a senior technician. They sent Mr. Johnson who brought a trainee with him. At the end of his diagnostic he all of a sudden proclaimed he saw a leak in the back and proceeded to point this out to me. I saw no leak at all and this has been working great for 4 years. I certainly would have spotted a leak in 4 years. He most certainly caused the leak. He then left. A few days later the expansion tank rusted through and had a pin hole squirting water. This started a month long problem with the heater flooding my basement. Another tech came and replaced the expansion tank with a brand they sell at Home Depot for $75 and charged me $1300[they said the expansion tank wasn't covered under warranty.] After one month of the heater dripping, 9 visits including a manager and various parts the heater stopped dripping. During this time we had a snow storm and snow blew into the intake tube that was installed 4" off the ground and shorted out the fan motor. They came once again to extend the snorkel pipes to 12" to prevent this from happening again and replaced the fan motor. This should have been done when the heater was installed. Total negligence! The time I spent babysitting the technicians wasted many hours I could have been doing something far better. All the technicians were very nice. The manager said the owner would call me but never did. I owned a service company for 37 years servicing computer systems and never in my life had I had seen such incompetence from a company.

I should preface this review by mentioning our home is special, in that the previous two owners appear to have been the handymen from hell and everything that ever needs work requires a full demo and rebuild. After coming home to a plumbing emergency and calling every plumber I could think of and just couldn't get help in a reasonable time frame from any one. Many told me a few days or the next morning at the soonest. Some even wanted to charge an emergency rate for a scheduled visit the following day or even two days later. Thankfully Victor from Home Advantage Plumbing called me back just as I was losing hope and found a way to fit me into his already busy schedule. Not only did he arrive right on time, I got a text when he was on his way. Victor came in and went over the extent of the damage, taking extra care not to track in dirt or damage anything. He then politely excused himself to price out the job. He returned with a clear action plan with backup plan priced out to help alleviate some of my anxiety. Victor came in under the best price I could have hoped for and did and absolutely beautiful job on what I believed to be impossible without opening multiple walls. On top of the beautiful work and careful testing of his work, Victor cleaned up everything including some of the hoses under there.
