I can't say enough about what an excellent job George Branton Asphalt Paving did on our driveway. After years of struggling in the snow, dealing with potholes, etc., with our gravel driveway we finally decided to make the investment in a new asphalt driveway. We knew, with the size driveway we had, that it would be expensive, but the George Branton company gave us a great price and did the work in a timely manner. The driveway looks great, but that isn't the best part. About 2 weeks after they completed the work, we noticed a small dip in the driveway near the front of the house that wasn't ther before. After a large rain storm, that dip grew into a giant sinkhole. After some investigation we discovered that a previous owner had bricked up and abandoned an old coal chute without filling it in and had simply covered it with a concrete slab and put a flower bed over it. We had the abandoned chute filled and compacted and then called George Branton to find out what the cost for a repair would be. To our surprise, they offered to repair the work for free. They were under no obligation to do so, as it wasn't their fault, but wanted us to be happy with our new driveway. They told us it might take awhile before they could do the work, but one day we came home and were pleasantly surprised to find the driveway completely repaired. David and Omar may come across as friendly, but I highly advise avoiding their resurfacing company at all costs. Their workmanship was shockingly careless--they rushed the entire project, leaving glaring roller marks, ugly footprints, and divots everywhere from smashed sticks. In the driveway extension areas, they clearly cut corners: the base was practically nonexistent, leading to immediate cracks and weeds springing up through what was supposed to be a "new" driveway. They've come back twice to slap on temporary fixes, but unsurprisingly, the problems keep returning because of their shoddy foundation work. Getting them to honor their warranty was a nightmare and took months of waiting. To top it off, their crew showed zero professionalism--rather than politely asking to use the restroom, they urinated on our shed right in view of our security cameras. Save yourself the frustration and choose a contractor who actually takes pride in their work and respects your property. read more

We have a very long driveway thru the woods involving a fairly steep hill where millings constantly wash out in heavy rains. This company was recommended to us by a friend and we are so glad we found them. They were always responsive, responding to multiple messages about our concerns and explained how they would solve some of the problems.. They gave us a great price and the final product was as we requested. The day before the job was to occur a tree fell over the driveway and they took care of that too. We had a great experience with them. read more

Our HOA went through a long (3 year...) bidding process to repair and seal a mile long common road. Gerorge Blanton Paving was the most patient and responsive during what must have been a very frustrating consensus process, and was always the most reasonable bid adapting to many additional requests. Project Manager Omar was on point through the whole process, always timely, professional, and constructive in his responses. Final quality excellent, on time and with quick fixes on any feedback. Absolute unreserved highest recommendations from a fussy HOA....most of the residents followed up with individual driveway improvements with Branton because it was an excellent experience. I needed to have my driveway redone because part of it was sinking. I called Omar at George Branton Paving and I must say that it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. After speaking to Omar, I realized that he was very honest to the point that I did not get any other quotes (which is unusual for me!) The whole team that came out was prompt, professional, and courteous. The job was completed in less than 1/2 day and the driveway looks great. I allowed an individual from Branton Paving to seal coat my driveway in early July 2013. It looked good while still wet but, afterward, you could clearly see the significant discoloration where he spread the seal coating by hand around the home and garage entrances but sprayed it down the remainder of the driveway. The spray lines are clearly visible on the driveway and, at this point, I'm wishing I had never allowed them to do it. I would not recommend using this company as they really don't care about customer service, at least with regards to seal coating driveways. They behave like a fly-by-night company. Finally, I would insist on seal coating by hand from now on as the spray doesn't achieve the same results. read more

Please do not consider George Branton Paving for paving services. They never called me back after leaving a message. Called them later in the week of which they hung up on me and never returned a call. Lastly, finally got a appointment for the weekend and they never showed up for the estimate. Terrible services and lack of customer needs. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE COMPLETELY UNRELIABLE AND CAN ONLY IMAGINE THE WORK THEY DO OR THERE OF!!!!!! read more

Completely ruined my driveway. A simple seal job and they sprayed it. 8 days later still tacky. Tar on shoes footprints all over driveway. Did give a refund but the damage already done. read more
