She was very realistic but also open with me and what I wanted. I always felt taken care of and like I could ask questions. She did a wonderful job addressing my partner's questions too since he would be helping with my aftercare. There was a minor complication that developed preventing my right side from dropping as it should, and Dr. Cobbins was very supportive and proactive about doing a crease revision and I was only charged a partial fee for the anesthesiologist, for the procedure 3 months after my original BA. Dr. Cobbins is approachable, realistic and caring. I had another consultation (NSPS) before deciding on Aesthetic Institue of Chicago and they wanted to charge me more, didn't really listen to me and talked down to me, trying to push me towards an incision style I did not want. I was able to tell Dr. Cobbins what I wanted, she told me what she thought would fit best and I ended up going one size below my maximum. My results are very natural looking but help me finally fill out clothing the way I wanted to. Getting this surgery and having such a supportive surgical team and doctor helped me finally have the confidence I had been searching for over many years. I went wedding dress shopping about three months ago and were it not for my surgery, I don't think I would have enjoyed the experience as much as I did nor felt as good in my dress.

But YOU DONT GET TO TALK TO YOUR SURGEN to address your concerns until THE DAY OF SURGERY! What surprised me the most were the surgeons stacking multiple procedures within the same day like some assembly line. I had documented my journey with pictures of day-of and post op, noticing hardly any difference. (Not sure if i can post them here) They quoted it was supposed to be a 3-4hr surgery yet they called my driver within 2hrs, further indicating it was a very choppy, rushed job. Their manner of how they needed me to wake up and get me out the door is what got me to wish that I had gone somewhere else. Here I am from the surgery room, aching, trembling from the cold sensation and I'm practically being kicked off of their wheelchair while still struggling to wake up from the anesthesia. I was confident they would take care of me but the overall procedure felt "drive through" quality. I've been mentally prepared for this for years now, doing all the steps on my end about obtaining the best results and having all the healing materials. And at EVERY follow-up, I ended up crying in the patient room because they didn't address my main concerns THAT I KEPT EMPHASIZING throughout every step of this journey and they had all reassured me before the surgery. I wasn't asking for an obnoxious Kardashian body, I asked to "even out" a part of my body that Ive always had insecurities. Its still there. Im confident its not body dysmorphia because I loved my body before but now I am embarrassed to admit I got work done from this place. When the whole point is to end up feeling more empowered in your skin. I gave them months to rectify the situation. They did a lot of backpedaling to shift the blame saying theres still swelling, to waiting for the "fluff" period, going from needing a touchup that the doctor only considered doing after 6months post op, to now I have to do a Round 2 BBL (which is conveniently more $$$$ for them). Just incase I look crazy or need to hide the swelling. Turns out I barely needed the mask! I had rhinoplasty/septoplasty surgery done 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. Aside from minor swelling in the tip (which can take up to a year to fully subside), I can see the shape and I'm already satisfied with results. My recovery was a little uncomfortable the first 3 days post op, but I had zero pain and only took a 1/4 of the prescribed painkiller the first day of surgery - just to be safe. I felt great with the exception of minor swelling and bruises around my eyes/nose - both painless and diminished within a week. The cast removal was 7 days following my surgery and aside from looking a little swollen, I was immediately comfortable in public and with seeing my friends/family! My overall experience to date has been 10x better than what I had in mind and I could not be more satisfied. My nose is no longer running constantly throughout the day and I feel like my breathing is more balanced! It has been life changing.
