Skin treatment was the best. Went for dark spots to be corrected and got them removed over about three to four treatments of pico lase. Elise thank you. Dr shay thank you. I appreciate you guys.

First, I am not the type to post reviews because I do not want to damage a person or business. Still, in this case, I feel I should tell people about my experience, and hopefully, it will help others when choosing a plastic surgeon. Unfortunately, I would exceed the number of words in Yelp to fully describe my experience, so I will sum it up as best as I can here. I met with Dr. Shah a year ago to discuss my aging face. Dr. Shah runs very late. I waited 40 minutes for the consult and an hour for a follow-up with him. I got parking tickets due to his lateness. Shah's staff is disorganized and unresponsive, the patient coordinator does many different things and doesn't follow through, and the nurse is awful. The nurse did not prescribe an essential medication despite my repeated requests for her to call me back the week of the surgery. As such, I suffered for several hours at home the night of the surgery. I paid Shah's coordinator to stay overnight with me, and I had to demand she call Dr. Shah at 9 pm or I was going to the emergency room. It was a horrible experience. Back the morning of the surgery, Shah walked in to meet with me and did not know he was doing a fat transfer, which I paid for; my results after the surgery were underwhelming; I still had droopy jowls and just had to have another procedure to the tune of 15K by another doctor. I paid Shah almost 30K. I'm sorry, but I cannot recommend Dr. Shah. He didn't botch me, but he didn't do a good job at all. Based on the above, I chose not to return and have him correct me. Dr. Michael Epstein in Northbrook is extraordinary and fixed my face.

    The best of the best!

I live in Los Angeles now, but still fly to Chicago to get injections with Dr. Sameea Chughtai or Dr. Anil Shah. They both have an eye for aesthetics and I trust them completely. The office is in a great location, and the staff is super nice! I can't wait to go back for more. Thank you for being such an amazing practice overall and making me feel my very best! :)

The face lift was okay, but he could have done better. See images below. The final results have left me with bumps and seamed (raised) skin all along my hair line. He took cartilage from my ears to put in my nose, but he didn't tell me. I found out after surgery. The day of the of surgery, I had to call him back into the room to remind him about the lip filler and how I wanted most of the filler in the top lip. Even after that, he put most of it in the bottom lip. When I came in for my one-month post-surgery appointment, I told him the nostrils were too big. He said he didn't touch the nostrils and that would be another procedure. I was so shocked and upset by his response, I didn't say anything. So, you want me to pay twice for what you should have done the first time???!!! Why didn't you touch the nostrils? It's my opinion that he is so concerned with his reputation and his work looking natural that he completely disregards what his patients ask for, what will make them look theirjawl best, and ultimately what will make them happy with the face they have to walk around with. And yes, I look better than before. But I didn't pay $20,000 to look better. I paid $20,000 to look good. Now I'm walking around with a $7,000 nose that I like less than my old nose and I'm wondering if I could have gotten the same jawline results with $1000 worth of laser tightening treatments and a good moisturizer. And to make matters worse, they gaslit me to a point where they had me give them a good review. How? They insisted in time everything would look better. It doesn't. You tell me. Look at the pictures. Would you pay $20,000 for these results? In addition: The receptionist was rude to me when I first called (At the Glenview office). The pre-surgery nurse kept repeating how thorough he was, except saying he was thorough was the only thing he was actually thorough about. He didn't return my messages. Several times he called me at the wrong time, then had to call me back because he misread his schedule. He then told me I'd have to tape my glasses to my forehead after surgery. Luckily, I found a band specifically made for glasses post rhinoplasty on Amazon. How didn't he know that? The day of the surgery the nurse was 30 minutes late, telling me that she didn't know that there was surgery that day. The anesthesiologist, however, was a dream. No stomach pain or nausea after surgery. She gave me an extra patch after I told her that I had a sensitive stomach. Their post-surgery follow up was a joke and consisted of a couple 2 min phone calls. They also sent my medication to a pharmacy an hour away from my home. All in all, this was one of the most disappointing things I've ever went through, ending up with me not wanting to look in the mirror anymore.

I was scheduled for the invasive procedure (Dr. Kevin Linn), but got panic attack night before the…read moresurgery, and canceled. Couldn't overcome the fear of operation. They took $3K of my deposit, just for having extra 1 hour break between their ops that day. When I tried to negotiate, they threatened they will not return the whole amount (over $10K!). I do not know about their professional skills, as doctors, but as humans - super greedy. We all know doctors are top earners in this country, and do not tell me that canceling my surgery broke your bank. Greed is their priority, will not return or recommend. Also, when I posted my review on google, company replied stating that they offered me to reschedule. IT IS NOT TRUE. Not only they did not offer to reschedule, but when I asked if that money can be applied toward any other cosmetic procedure thee offer - the answer was NO, from Jennifer Ennis. RN for doctor Lin.

Just incase I look crazy or need to hide the swelling. Turns out I barely needed the mask! I had rhinoplasty/septoplasty surgery done 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. Aside from minor swelling in the tip (which can take up to a year to fully subside), I can see the shape and I'm already satisfied with results. My recovery was a little uncomfortable the first 3 days post op, but I had zero pain and only took a 1/4 of the prescribed painkiller the first day of surgery - just to be safe. I felt great with the exception of minor swelling and bruises around my eyes/nose - both painless and diminished within a week. The cast removal was 7 days following my surgery and aside from looking a little swollen, I was immediately comfortable in public and with seeing my friends/family! My overall experience to date has been 10x better than what I had in mind and I could not be more satisfied. My nose is no longer running constantly throughout the day and I feel like my breathing is more balanced! It has been life changing. I was naive at the time but I really wanted a little bit added to my bottom so I went in for a consult. I was also really skinny (like model skinny) so even then she told me oh yeah I've had patients your size or smaller do procedures by me, I wish she rejected me or at least did a less risky procedure since her skills didn't match the words I heard. My body was so perfect in every way before this procedure (just wanted a little boost on my bottom). I remember I said "I heard some peoples shoulders get bigger she was like "Oh no that's not true at all." She did Lipo to my stomach which barely had much fat, inner thighs, and back. Anyways 6 yrs later and I'm struggling with my body image. I've lost my confidence, my skinny bbl doesn't look great, can't find a solution because I have skin laxity on my back and stomach, scarring/tethering (again this is from the aggressive lipo she did and how she used the surgical tools), Lipo fibrosis on stomach and back and yes the upper back looks bigger. I followed all the instructions of wearing the compression garment and everything. The problem wasn't the aftercare instructions I perfectly followed, the problem was the poor surgical technique. She did aggressive lipo on me, took out too much fat because I was thin and ruined the look of my skin. I now have 2 rolls on my back that I never had before my procedure and I feel always bloated for some odd reason no matter what I eat healthy or not even though my diet didn't change. I only gained about 10 pounds (still at a weight women would love) but even with that if the surgical skills were good the body would grow out nice and even, it wouldn't look botched. I wish she rejected me and told me to come back in a year or 2 if I want something permanent after I try something temporary. I wish she told me thoroughly and openly what kind of problems can come up (this was only briefly discussed and none of the problems I have now were discussed as potential issues after surgery). I wish she gave me a temporary option or smaller procedure not as damaging as a first solution to see what it would look like. I didn't receive any other options. I think plastic surgeons (especially ones who've had botched outcomes from their work) need to give a couple options and really think about if the contouring will look nice with each option so the patient can have a good long term outcome and more people will trust them for procedures. Dr. Cobbins took away the most thing that made me confident back then and damaged my body. I am struggling in every way imaginable because of this procedure done by Dr. Lorri Cobbins. The most perfect parts of my body were ruined because of horrible surgical technique and now I am left grieving it. I struggle every day to look for a way to fix it and I'm too afraid to go to someone else that may further damage me. I don't take photos anymore like I used to, I don't try on clothes when I shop like I want to. I can't look at myself in the mirror the same way. Please if you want a better/different look try temporary cosmetic things first so they go away if you don't like them and you don't have to live with the permanent result of a botched procedure.

Everything from my first consultation through the procedure and follow-up was smooth sailing. All of my questions, no matter how small, were answered with thorough explanations to help me get the best result... and I truly believe I did.
