Chocolate chip cookies and caramel drink

As someone who is always looking for coffee shops to get work done, I think a found my new favorite place! The barista was very kind and helpful! Drinks were made relatively quick and they were so good. The aesthetic was really pretty too, lots chairs and outlets. I got the caramel drink and lavender latte. The barista also gave out chocolate cookies on the house for visiting for the first time! Will definitely be back!

    A delicious latte.

We were visiting family in Melissa and decided to stop for some coffee and a pastry. My husband isn't a fan of espresso, so he ordered their drip coffee and was very happy with it. It is flavorful but not as strong as an espresso drink would be. I had a latte, which I enjoyed very much - nicely pulled espresso and heated milk at just the right temperature We split an almond croissant. My husband asked for it to be warmed up, which didn't do the texture any favors. You could see the laminated layers but it didn't have the flaky outside after warming. It still tasted good, though; it's hard to go wrong with almond paste and buttery pastry! The service was great and we'll definitely stop in again the next time we're in town.

Finally made it back here to try this place out again a few weeks back. The place is still super cute inside and very clean. There's artwork of local artists covering the walls which I love. There's a huge curio cabinet full of games to play. It's very quiet and relaxing if you choose to do work on your computer. I do love that they added food items to their menu. The coffee cake muffins were very good. As for the coffee, it's decent, definitely better than the first few times I tried it. I love that it's locally owned and is another alternative to Starbucks or Scooters. Definitely aren't having to wait in lines and service is great here.

Needed to take an under the weather friend a cup of hot strong, black coffee. Never had been to George's before so,opted for them instead of Starbucks across the street. Really glad I did. Nice people and great coffee! Go

    George's Mocha Caramel Iced Coffee

The place is so cute and peaceful. Great for doing work as they have alot of tables and outlets. I enjoyed the George's Mocha Caramel iced coffee. The workers were also very sweet. I'll definitely be back.

This is my spot on Saturday and Sunday. I like to take my book in, grab a cup of coffee, relax and read. They play music which isn't loud at all, overall, it is very quiet in there. They have puzzles & board games and artwork on the walls. The atmosphere is awesome in my opinion. They even have a small conference room available. The coffee is absolutely amazing, I get a mocha, or a black and white mocha. It is always smooth, rich, and creamy. I'd honestly say it is the best I've had anywhere. The crew that works there are great. I always get amazing service, they are always friendly.

They were open on this bright sunny morning. It is a modern small coffee shop, capable making just about any coffee concoction that you could want. The very friendly owners were managing the counter this morning. I had an Americano with a shot of cream. My wife had some kind of white mocha or something. Great tasting coffee, fair prices, fast service. They also have a few pastries, scones, and monstrous sized cookies. The name of the shop "Country Charm Coffee" is a little deceiving. There were no farm tools, saddles, or horse collars, hanging on the wall. No road signs, flour sacks, pickle barrels, or even a vintage oil company sign. It's modern city décor. There was a piece of barn tin decorating the counter. That will work. And written on the wall, "Welcome Y'all!" "Charm?" I really don't have the skill set needed to properly assess charm. I'll stick with friendly. I know what friendly is. Lastly, no drive through. I hate drive throughs anyway. I like to go in, meet the folks running the place, and see what the operation looks like. So, get out of the car, stretch, only a few steps to the front door. Call it a workout. Counts as 4 calories. After a workout like that, you earned whipped cream on your drink. The shop is one mile east of US-75 on the north side of W. White Street. Skip Buc-ee's coffee in Melissa and support this local business.

This shop and roastery is owned by a guy who knows and is passionate about coffee and roasting, and is happy to interact with customers in the shop. He's got a small library of videos on YouTube on a variety of topics that are of interest to home enthusiasts as well as professionals. But how's the coffee? I dropped in for an espresso and a cortado, followed by a bag to take home. All of the products were based on their house blend, Ember Espresso. It's promoted as a "well developed medium roast", and I'd agree with that assessment. It promises notes of chocolate and caramel, with a smooth body, and hints of dark berries. Both drinks in the cafe (particularly the espresso) delivered in all point. The berry notes appeared towards the end, almost like a sweet farewell as the shot went by. My home shots from the bag (brewed on a Decent Espresso DE1) were very similar, with intense chocolate and that slight berry "punch", and went fantastic in milk drinks. The cafe itself is well appointed and inviting, and can accommodate a pretty good crowd. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's not their fault. Nothing a little walk won't fix. The staff are friendly and helpful, and there's a good selection of beans to go along with a nicely appointed menu of drinks. The quality of beans and drinks here could almost make it a destination for true coffee enthusiasts; I'm fortunate that it's only about 20 minutes from my home, so it's a no-brainer. Definitely worth the side quest if you're making the trip up US 75 towards Oklahoma or back.
