I visited this coffee shop for the first time yesterday, Feb.16, 2026. The coffee was delicious and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I left disgusted and concerned regarding the cleanliness after witnessing an incident at the counter. I observed an employee drop the lid of a pitcher onto the floor on the customer side of the counter. A customer picked it up and handed it back to the employee, who then placed it back on the pitcher without rinsing it. I said "you do realize that just fell on the floor." She gave me THE NASTIEST look and got an uncalled attitude as she took it and slammed it on the counter. I was just completely shocked and in disbelief. The pitcher had about 2/3 of a mix in it, obviously contaminated now but, I'm sure some unfortunate customers were served it. She didn't go discard it nor did she rinse the lid. I'd love the manager/owner to look at the camera. It was between 1-1:30 pm. The situation was disappointing and concerning from a sanitation standpoint. It raises many red flags on food safety practices, especially since this occurred in full view of customers. I share this feedback so that appropriate training and corrective action can be taken to ensure customer health and safety moving forward. read more

Was staying across the street for a business meeting and saw the coffee place on the drive in. Made note to go back for coffee the next morning. Looked online and saw they do coffee flights. Decided to give that a try, with the seasonal flavor option. Currenly, that included peppermint mocha, salted caramel latte, banana bread chai and s'mores cold brew. I liked the caramel and s'mores but the syrups needed to be stirred in more. The banana bread chai was great. Went back the next day and grabbed a cookie butter latte before meetings started. They have these yummy egg bites that you can tell are fresh and have some potato and chives in them and they are so good. He says they always have my order ready. I've frequented Armor enough now to confidently update my review. I really enjoy Armor Coffee, I only wish there was more indoor seating! The Bacon Breakfast Tacos are my favorite followed by their chocolate chip cookies, which are good but amazing when warmed. The cold brew is strong and tasty and their creative lattes sound delicious although I enjoy a plain ol' almond milk latte. The service is usually pretty cheerful and quick and I really enjoy that they have coloring pages and crayons for kiddos. Although, it's hit or miss if you'll actually find a table to sit at when you arrive - the indoor seating is tight and most tables are usually taken by people with computers. Likely due to the free wifi. My favorite part of Armor is their drive thru!! It's actually quick and the service is always great. I've never had a messed up order and my food/drinks are hot. If you're visiting for the nostalgia of following Jen on her IG Rambling Redhead page or No Demo Reno, you'll be happy to find a handful of merch from t-shirts, to cups, mugs and stickers available for purchase. I adore Jenn Todryk! I was so stoked to visit her coffee shop. I knew it would be next level design, superb coffee and hospitable service. In baseball, batting .300 is amazing. So if we're using that, Armor is a homerun. But I'm not using that. The live plants were the only exceptional design element. The coffee was akin to those gas station latte dispensers. But the service personnel were very friendly and accommodating. There was ample seating, including casual community-based seating - like couches, etc. And there was a special room that I assume is available for meeting space, etc. The shop was filthy - crumbs and partial cookies in the second tier of the coffee table, a quite dirty floor, a malfunctioning toilet. Very disappointing. I think this might be a result of just setting my hopes too high. I did find out there was a new location in Wylie - so I visited there, as well. It was cleaner and the design was more in line with what I was hoping for from an HGTV star. But my latte was burnt and my wife's soda was total syrup, no carbonation. Great little coffee shop, the coffee was hot and strong and giving everything a good man needed to give. I also got the griddle cake sandwich, it's similar to a McGriddle but way better. The sausage tasted like it was homemade, you can really taste the sage in it, which I love, and the griddle cakes were so fluffy on the inside. Overall it was an excellent breakfast sandwich and I snuck in a bite of hubby's cheese danish, which was warmed and that was also lovely! Cute and modern décor and I also like that they have a small, private meeting room that you can access as well if you needed to. I had been wanting to try armor out for a while. My sister came to town so we stopped in before an appt. It wasn't too busy. We proceed to order the cashier is very sweet and helpful. As we waited for the coffee the space was modern and nice. Super clean and I loved that they had working space. We got our coffee after waiting quite a bit and proceeded to wait for our bagels. When I realized the time I had asked a barista if she knew how much longer for our toasted bagel to which she sighed and looked extremely irritated and said "uhm whenever it finishes, I don't know!" That's actually the turning point for the experience because 1. Rude. 2. Unnecessary the attitude behind it. They weren't super busy and I was asking out of curiosity rather kindly. Great spot to buy beans. I have never eaten here, but I wanted to find someplace that I can buy fresh beans for my espresso machine that was local. The staff here is knowledgeable on roast, bean types and general espresso conversation. I had a pleasure speaking to a young lady at the desk, who educated me on their roast dates and preferred beans for espresso. Per reccomendation, I picked up a bag of Kairos Founders Blend. I love that this place is local, and I can drive by and pick up some delicious beans for home consumption. I'll subscribe to a service that delivers my espresso beans, but I run out frequently, this will now be my go to place. I will also add that while I have not eaten here, the food looked so good that I will make sure next visit I try their breakfast. There was limited seating but I was able to find a nice spot at the window overlooking the outside. Overall, the interior is beautifully decorated and customer service was great. I ordered a Bacon & Maple Belgian Waffle and the total came out to $9.15 (including tax/without tip) which seems a little pricy for what I got. The actual food was tasty though! They gave 1 other sauce to dip the waffle into but I just stuck with the syrup. I loved the bright atmosphere here and would come back!
