I was charged the following: $86.50 Exam Fee $66 Ear Cytology $51 for hair ear pluck $5 Biohazard supply $80 Claro Ear pack gel $7.56 Administration fee Total: $296.80 Unfortunately our dog was not better and still itching at his ear. We were within the 30 days I wanted to bring him back in and Dr. Crenshaw said the fee would be $74 for "recheck". Liberty Hill Animal Hospital charges the following: $70 Exam Fee $48 Ear Cytology $16 for hair ear pluck No administration fees or biohazard fees. $30 Recheck fee Needless to say I'm not going back and disappointed. It seems like a money pit with no resolution or true concern for our dog.

I made a last minute appointment for my dog and they were able to schedule me right away. Their staff are very nice and we were greeted with a smile when we came in. Dr. Gardial was so friendly and was happy to answer all my questions and concerns regarding my dog's health.

In case you don't know, most of the veterinary clinics are being gobbled up by corporate monoliths, eager to tap into the lucrative market of doting pet parents who want to know everything their pet can't tell them. So they develop lists of mandatory services--much like car dealerships--that include $200 of lab work each visit, $35 nail trims, plus charges for all the extra staff it takes to make you feel like your baby is being carefully inspected from head to toe. Unfortunately, a lot of times, the vet techs at these three-letter places might love pets, but haven't the first clue what to do other than cuddle them since yesterday they were taking your order at Happy McBurgermeister. Make no mistake. This is an animal hospital, country-style. It is not your marble-countered, Starbucks-serving, rest-your-tushy-on-leather-sofas-while-you-wait pet resort. You'll see and smell large animals in vet pens behind the parking lot. You'll need to wait in your car or outside with your pet until they call you in since there isn't a large waiting room. This office emphasizes function (keeping pets well) over form (keeping owners pampered). If you want to pay extra for personal comfort or to light up the midnight sky with branding signage, have mercy on yourself and meander on over where those things are possible. I took our pupperonis in yesterday for their second round of vaccines. We were about 10 minutes early, and had to wait about 20 minutes to be called inside. When we were, we were immediately escorted back to a spartan treatment room with a single wooden chair. Dr. Tarleton came in immediately to confirm our treatment, and came back almost as quickly with the syringes. The furbabies were in and out in under 5 minutes. No muss, no fuss. Shots over. I should mention that they have great deals with rebates on Virbac-branded heartworm treatment. The big names are about $20 more for 6 months. These also cover tapeworms, and there was a $10-25 rebate offered depending on how many you bought at once. I hesitate to quote prices, but, experientially, their heartworm meds were on par with prices I paid last year at Emancipet--actually, less, after the rebate. In the end, what I paid for were good, honest veterinary services and the time it took to render them. I genuinely appreciate the hyper-conscious effort Dr. Tarleton makes at cost containment and his no-frills approach to keeping the four-legged friends we love and who love us back healthy and happy.

I asked them if I could come back and they wanted to charge me more money. This time I too him to Old Town Vet Hospital. Emily [technician] was so extremely nice and helpful. She told me about home ear flushes I can do with Jerry. Emily was also very thorough explaining to the doctor what was wrong. While I was there I found a tick on my dogs ear. Dr. Harding was able to remove the tick and gave me instructions of odd signs to look for if my dog was affected. Dr. Harding told me about allergies my dog may have that might be contributing to his ear infections that I had no idea of. She gave me several different options for allergy treatment. She also gave me ear drops and prednisone to help with Jerry severe ear infection. Dr. Harding spent a lot of time going over treatments to prevent these chronic ear infections. She also gave me options that were more cost effective. Savanna came in at the end and gave me the medications and checked us out. None of these steps and treatment were given to me at Georgetown Veterinary Hospital and was charged a lot more with no resolution for Jerry. I absolutely felt heard and that my dog was taken well care of by Old Town Vet Hospital. I truly believe the staff wanted to get to the root of the issue so these ear infections do not keep happening. I would rate the staff and Dr. Harding 5 stars.

The kindness and compassion they showed us during that experience meant so much to our family, and because of that, I transferred our pets there as regular clients. I had wonderful experiences with Dr. Mundal and always felt our pets received thoughtful, attentive care from her. Unfortunately, after she left the practice, my experience changed significantly. One of the vet tech experiences left a very bad impression on me due to impatience and poor communication. I specifically requested not to work with that tech again. Beyond that, appointments often felt unprepared. Rather than reviewing my pet's chart beforehand, I was repeatedly asked for information that was already documented in the file, including medication lists and prior treatments. It became frustrating to feel like I was constantly re-explaining established medical history. I also repeatedly received reminders for vaccines and services that had already been completed months earlier. After this happened multiple times, it began to create concern about organization, oversight, and confidence in the accuracy of my pets' records. It was disappointing because our initial experience with Old Town was so positive and compassionate. Ultimately, due to the ongoing communication and organizational concerns, I decided to move my pets' care elsewhere.

They had me in the exam room at the exact time my appointment was scheduled, the doctor immediately walked into the room, after the thorough exam the vet tech was instantly there to administer the shots and give the heart worm test, when I walked to the front desk the already had my bill ready to pay and the paperwork and prescription ready for me, and from the moment I walked into the building until the moment I was back in my car it took 17 minutes. And my dog is now back to 100% health. I have literally never had a more positive experience at a vet's office.

(They did fix this but I had to catch it) 2, they gave my dog more vaccines than requested. (Gave me a credit for my next visit, although they shouldn't have messed up on something so big) 3, they didn't prescribe my dog the needed medications for an ear infection due to nursing and when done nursing, they wanted me to pay for another visit. So they wanted to double charge me for the same service that wasn't fully treated. It's clearly all about the money for them. I would advise don't go here. The manager Addy is absolutely no help.

It took three trips to this venue to finally get him acclimated to the team. Dr. McJett and her team is so patient and supportive of our little maniac. She has recommended so many helpful tips to help us. Our Max had an ear infection and he would not put us treat him at home. After several attempts, Dr. McJett was able to pack it and allow the healing to begin. At least to a point where we could start home treatment. Other local vets were unsuccessful. I Love the fact that they will always give you a price estimate upfront, before they start the service. No surprises. No "Invoice Shock". Just honest upfront cost reports. The fact that they do it with kindness and love is icing on the cake. Dr. Hoff and Connie took care of him today and of course he loved the visit. Is your pet afraid of going to the vet? Try Castlerock. Today's visit however was like all the rest: regardless of which vet or tech you'll get, its going to be a good and thorough visit and if you're going for vaccination updates or ailment checks you'll sit in the check-up room with your buddy. I've never had - which means my dog has never had - a bad experience at Castlerock. All the questions I ask they take seriously and explain as much as I want about things because, hey, I'm trying to look out for my four-legged friend, so I gotta know what I'm doing! Other things I like? The facility is clean, fresh and up to date intelligently designed with concrete floors since sometimes our animal friends can't hold in their excitement if you know what I mean. No loud garish music over the PA scaring you & your animal. And, should you check out with the lovely Chrissy at the front desk you'll experience warm and calming service from someone who obviously loves animals. That's it; no subtle hints to upgrade this or watch out for that here: I enjoy taking my buddy to Castlerock because I know he is getting great care from people who love animals, yet who haven't forgotten how to interact with humans too! She prescribed a medication for my Yorkie that is contraindicated for an animal with compromised kidneys as my dog had and Vallee was aware of. She even gave me documents about my dog's kidney issues. As my fur family member was dying Vallee refused to talk to me on the phone. She refused to call me back. I'm a retired court reporter. I did research on Vallee. This isn't the first time she has abandoned an animal in her care. The veterinarian board in fact previously found her guilty of this behavior. Do NOT let this woman near your animal. I'm in the process of having a website built about this situation. If I can save one animal from being harmed by her it's worth it. Vallee treated my dog at her previous practice. I just want potential victims at this practice to be aware of her repeated behavior in abandoning animals in her care.

It's great to be there, feeling that you and your pets are the only ones. When my B'shert was there for neutering not only was his care exemplary... but I was cared for as well... via a photo of my pup resting after his surgery. When he came home he was (sleepy) comfortable and ready to resume his place in the family. It was hard to tell based on his actions that he had surgery that day! Nice! We go to see Dr. Goodner and team even though she is 18 miles from my home. Why? You might ask.... I want the very best for my fur family and Guardian Paws is what they deliver! 'Nuff said Marcia

If you want a horror story I have one, if you want a story of being robbed blind I have that to…read more 2 years ago we had to put our dog down, very sad, we came in as entire family it was handled very well, but that vet is gone and so is the care we felt. A year later my wife and daughter bring our new puppy in for a first check up....and they brought them all into the room where they put our dog down. Absolute low class and zero thought and we had to talk our 9 year old down from that. The Horror. So new dog fully grown, I say hey are you charging us more fore these meds because we come in, because other retailers are much cheaper. "Oh, well if you use our online shop we price match...." -front desk 3 freaking years of buying one at a time and NO ONE told us they ever had an online shop. I come to find out, because we did what they ask, "just come in get her weight and we will give you her meds right there" was a a 30.00 clip for every dose!!! The robbery.

This used to be my go to vet clinic for years but the recent service has continued to decline…read morerapidly. 1, the double charged me for the same vaccine on one occasion. (They did fix this but I had to catch it) 2, they gave my dog more vaccines than requested. (Gave me a credit for my next visit, although they shouldn't have messed up on something so big) 3, they didn't prescribe my dog the needed medications for an ear infection due to nursing and when done nursing, they wanted me to pay for another visit. So they wanted to double charge me for the same service that wasn't fully treated. It's clearly all about the money for them. I would advise don't go here. The manager Addy is absolutely no help.
