When I called to make the appointment, they were quick to answer and it was very easy to schedule. I went for a basic women's haircut which was $75. Lilian was friendly and clearly cared about doing a great job, listening to how I was wanting the hair to be cut. Going from longer hair to a shoulder length cut along with a shampoo and dry all took just under an hour. I am definitely interested in coming back! They're located on the second floor of a plaza with lots of parking, although it can be busy.

Rosie is a gorgeous, amazing lady who has the most self confident about what she is doing with the client. I personally did not know her. She did such a amazing job and very hard work on my hair. I have a very long hair which goes up to my knees. I've had my hair matted and tangled for a week .I tried to comb it for two days and It was impossible. All the hair was in two huge knots on the back of my head that I can not get out I've never seen anything like this, I've tried everything, I've tried to remove tangles with conditioners but nothing worked. I did not want to cut my hair, it was not it from my scalp all the way down, I can not even run my fingers through it.I had a lots of pressure on my head, scalp was burning and itching, if I tried it was so bad my scalp is blistering from it pulling so hard on the back of my head. Finally I found out Georgette's beauty salon from yelp, I went to the salon for a help and Rosie who is the owner of the salon, is very friendly, helpful, and she accept the challenge of taking my hair down. It was a very hard work . Her sister and one lady who works in the salon, helped her to work on my hair. It took so many hours to remove very tight tangles. They worked about two weeks to finish it. Those people are very kind and helpful , I was frustrated and very stressed, but they gave me a hope everyday. Finally they did it. They removed all the tangles successfully. I was so happy. Rosie was very responsible and passionate about what she does. She explained me how to take care of my hair and recommend what shampoos and conditioner would be the best for my hair type. I have never really done anything with my hair but my sister told me to look up places that do a Brazilian Blowout after searching on line I found Georgette's Beauty Salon and it seemed to have the best prices. I made an appointment and Rosie was very sweet and walked me through the whole process, she also told me she wasn't going to put a lot of solution in my hair because she didn't know my hair but did offer to do a touch up in a couple of weeks if I felt I needed it. she also showed me the easiest way to style it and told me how to care for it. I really liked how it came out and I was going on vacation to California and wanted to be sure it would hold so I went it for a touch up and wow, I didn't think I could love my hair even more that I already did. Rosie was able to squeeze me in the day before I was going to leave and as always was so nice and again gave me pointers on how to style it. I would highly recommend anyone that wants a change or even a style for a party, wedding or even quincenera to stop by and visit Rosie. Its been a little over 3 months and my hair still looks great. I have gotten lots of compliments and wow, what a change from the first picture the way I normally would wear my hair to the 2 other pictures after Rosie made it beautiful and now no one believes I am 47 years old. So I called Rosie the owner she was very nice, she explains everything about the process, she took the time to show me the colors. When she started to work with my hair, immediately I noticed she knows her job!!! I had the most beautiful color base and highlights of my dreams. My haircut is amazing, also easy to style. I'm coming back! This is a little beauty salon, I went recommended for a friend.. I wasn't really expecting for much, I went during my lunch break to get a simple haircut. My hair is long with blonde highlights and not one single damaged hair. She takes her time with each client and obviously provides great service hence the fact that we keep going back. Rosie did a phenomenal job on my hair last weekend! Balayage, cut, and keratin- I waited to wash it and see the results and I'm super happy with it. My hair dries straight with no heat help and it looks beautiful! Her prices are very fair especially given her talent. It's a little less frufru of a salon but that's not important to me. My hair has been in its natural health state from my big chop seven years ago. I rarely let anyone…read moreput their hands in my hair to the point I can count on one hand. I found Maggie on Instagram and after seeing her work decided to take the risk. I went in for a silk press and LOVED IT! She is a bit heavy handed burning me a few places but honey I tell you I sat through it because the silk press lasted so long and my hair reverted right back without damage. I referred a ton of clients to her along with my mother. My mom went in and by the time she came out to the car to call me on FaceTime it poof right back up. I screen shot it and sent the photo to Maggie. She never responded to the photo. I went in once again for a silk press and was surprised she brought up the photo that I sent of my mom EVEN THOUGH she never responded. Fast forward ... I trust her, im ready for my keratin treatment. I go into the shop and she's extremely over booked. The keratin was placed on my head as she did other clients. Her lovely assistant then blow dries my hair then sits me to the side while I wait for the press. I should've noticed something wasn't right because normally my hair is bone straight after the blow dry. She finishes me up and I'm in love as usual. The next day I go out in the town for my birthday and my hair was extremely poofy, more than normal. The next day it's as hard as hay! I messaged her and she said I could add oil to put moisturize back into it and wrap it. I did, it was soft but when I woke up in the am to wear it out it's hard as hay again and literally falling out when I run my fingers through it. I sent pictures and she asked me to come in for a deep conditioner. After the treatment my hair was soft BUT as it dries before your eyes I tell her (as I run my fingers though my hair) how it isn't normal. She becomes defensive which makes me make a confused face (I'm guessing) because she says, " I'm sorry I'm not being defensive but I don't know what to tell you". I'm literally holding my breath to hold in my tears. I realized a few things at that moment. 1. I should've noticed the signs 2. Not all stylist care about natural healthy hair 3. Not everyone accepts feedback 4. Never get a keratin again I sent her more photos of the handfuls of hair that I had and asked for a refund. She never responded as usual then blocks me on her social media profile. My bank was kind enough to refund me so I'm partially feeling better. My hair was my crown now I'm waiting to see if my hair will even manage to become what it was before the keratin treatment. Update: my hair was put in a protective style for three weeks to give it a break. Hair was falling out as i took my braids out. I'll attach a picture Update 8/20: my hair is continuing to fall out. I had to cut it completely off for the shedding to stop.

Thankfully as soon as I found out I was transferring my job, I was on Instagram vigorously looking at Houston salons and came across this GEM. SHE IS AN ANGEL YALL! I told her the story and we switched to a pretty plum that we thought would suffice but turns out, I had to change it AGAIN! She let me come back and she darkened my hair and didn't even charge me . I went dark then she transitioned me to a honey brown after giving my hair a short break (view pics below of my transformation). All of that with NO damage. Your beautician could NEVA! That was the beginning of me becoming a FAB girl. Margaret is as sweet as pie and you will sense her genuine spirit upon your first interaction. Her personality is one of a kind and her blow outs are unmatched, period! Visiting her salon is always a relaxing experience and I always look forward to attending my appointments. Between the empowering girl talks and laughs, she makes it pretty hard for anyone else to top her salon experience. I used to travel over a hour to my appointments until she moved to her current location which is a lot closer to me. In that time, I tried ONE other stylist because she was conveniently closer and my hair was puffy in 3 days. Talk about pissed! I vowed from that time to never go anywhere else. You get what you pay for plus more with Marg. I have thick natural hair and my hair stays flawlessly straight until it gets product build up (my fault) and loses body. I don't like flat hair so I wash it, however, it lasts about 2 weeks...IN HOUSTON HEAT! She uses a steaming method that hydrates your hair and prevents damage. I'm not sure if it's my straightening technique or if her blow outs have lasting affects cause my hair always comes out flawlessly even after a couple of washes. That's what you call quality! Needless to say, if you're on the market for a new beautician, book your FAB appointment ASAP. You'll love it!

I was visiting from out of town and wanted to do a drastic cut (about 10 inches off for a chin…read morelength cut). I was able to easily and quickly get scheduled with one of their senior stylists. The cut turned out pretty good, but the 4 stars comes from the stylist having multiple clients at once, with an assistant doing the finishing touches/styling. I was not a fan of being passed off and I did not like how the gal was styling it. The master stylist had to come over several times to correct her. Overall, the salon is nice, clean and products are good. Just wish I didn't feel like a number when paying over $100 for a haircut.

I like to wear my hair curly, but when I need a blow out or a haircut, she's my go to. The salon is very nicely decorated and always spotless. Prices are parallel to the level of service, you will get amazing treatment for your hair with quality products. I definitely recommend! I'm absolutely a fan. P.s.
