Why I went back, I question every day. She doesn't change the sheets between clients, she offers a blanket every time that I know is not washed between clients, so I decline. She doesn't leave her chair when she calls her next client into her station. I'm not sure how she has time to sterilize her equipment; therefore, I don't think she does. This last time I went to her, I got a horrible infection that resulted in my eyelashes falling out. I have no eye eyelashes! The pain was unbelievable, so much so that I almost went to the emergency room. I couldn't sleep, my eyes were red and felt like they were bulging out of my head! I went to my eye doctor twice and thank goodness my eyes are okay and I'm grateful for that. However, I have no eyelashes! I questioned her in the past about the eye infections I've had and questioned her about her sterilization procedures. In her broken English, she told me she does sterilize between clients. I do not believe that she sterilizes her tools. I've have two friends who have also gotten eye infections from her. One day as I was waiting for my appointment, a lady was checking out and questioning the receptionist as to why her eyes have been so itchy and red the last time she got her eyelash extensions. That should've been my clue, amongst others, to not return. When I go to my nail salon, they open a package of tools that have been through a sterilization process. Hannah's business does not do that! Shame on me for returning and I learned my lesson the hard way. She did return my money, including my tip and offered me free eyelash extensions when my eyelashes grow back, really? I will never get eyelash extensions again. I'm grateful that my eyes were not permanently damaged. My eyelashes will grow back, but I will never get eyelash extensions again. Please be aware that it appears that Hannah is violating health codes. I have notified the health department. She could truly damage someone's eyes permanently! It's just not worth the risk. Hopefully she will get a violation and get her act together by changing the sheets between clients, bringing a new blanket in each time a client walks into her station and properly sterilizes her tools with the proper sterilization equipment. This is a disaster waiting to happen... I was lucky there was only my eye eyelashes and my eyesight was not damaged. Hannah, I've seen that you have responded to others who have given you a low rating. Don't you dare respond to this one with any excuses. Hopefully the health department will be knocking on your door any day now. I would suggest that you get your act together and sterilize your equipment and change the sheets! That's disgusting!

I was very hesitant to get a lash lift because I've always had full and long lashes and was scared they'd get messed up but I wanted to stop using mascara as often so I decided to get one. Now it's June and my lashes are broken off and frizzy. They go all different ways and just look really really bad. I've tried oils and everything to get them to look normal but nothing has worked yet. My experience wasn't great when I went in and now my lashes are ruined, I can't wear mascara because it looks crazy. I'm not sure if they were over curled or the chemicals were left on too long but my eyelashes still haven't recovered. I'm so upset my beautiful lashes are ruined. I regret getting a lash lift and would never get one again unfortunately.

The company explained that this is normal because these are not permanent lashes. I usually get lash extensions from another place and they usually last for at least 3 weeks with minimum fall out. Because of this I don't consistently attend chic lash boutique. In this economy today, if I pay a $150 for lashes. I want them to last at least 2-3 weeks without having to touch them up. I did a lot of research before choosing a place here in Houston because I had previously worn extensions for about two years in California, with a few bad experiences and I knew what to look for this time. I have been happy every single time. She makes them full to my liking and does not skimp. She is also very diligent with her placement and takes her time. I actually fall asleep because she is so gentle. I get so many compliments not just from friends but also when I am out and about. Always on time, cute and very clean studio and offers refreshments. My appt was schedule for Friday mid-morning and upon arrival there were 2 people at the front desk. I was greeted and checked in, then was told there was a switch with the person I would be scheduled with. I ended up being serviced by Bryce and she was amazing! I had multiple questions and she was very knowledgeable. I will say that there isn't much explaining of the pricing so once back I did have to go back to the front because I signed up for the first timer special, but then once back found out what I wanted would be an additional price. I also wasn't informed that Bryce was a master tech and there's no way of knowing with the drop down on the website. Master tech's are an additional fee so I would definitely review pricing first and confirm tech beforehand. They did tell me they would waive the additional fee since I would think because 1. I didn't choose the person, and again there's no way of knowing from the drop-down on the site who's a master or not. I did go ahead and sign up for the monthly service and enjoyed Bryce so much that I will pay the extra $10 to continue seeing her.

The first time I came in they asked if I wanted to join the membership, I declined but considered joining at one point but every-time I came in there was always an issue. I'm not a fan of their scheduling because they leave no time in between sessions for alterations. What I did like about them was they were very fast and I was out within 30 min but I feel that may also be a downfall now that I have gone over 8 times, i notice my lashes do not last more then a week before they are start slowly falling out. I schedule refills and then come refill time, My eyelashes are pretty much gone to where I feel like I need a full set , but because I didn't tell them that at the time of booking the refill, (like I knew your lashes were gonna fall out so soon) they won't accommodate that and make me come back and schedule another appointment. Time management is not the best there. This is the only place I have been to that my lashes don't last at least a month before I need to refill. Also not a fan of prices. They charge you for the initial Lash instillation and then they charge you for the style of lash you want and then they also charge you a master stylist fee on top of that. I feel like I walk out spending $350 on lashes which I've never done before. Even with the membership I just don't feel like it's worth it so I'm glad I never signed up. I thought that maybe it was just the location that I was going to. Amazing lash studio is a chain so they have multiple locations. I went to the midtown location and got a "master stylist" and she gave me a full set of eyelash extensions, and I kid you not. The next day they fell all out. I have been getting my lashes done for the last five years, so I know how to properly take care of them. When I called to tell them what had happened, they blamed me and said, are you sure you didn't do this yourself?. Yeah because I wanted to spend my day coming back to redo my lashes. Because I have nothing better to do with my life on a Saturday before a big event which was the reason I went the day before.
