Two weeks later we're told we have a new instructor just for the second day another family emergency occurs with her which isn't her fault. However the following day everyone is waiting outside the locked doors 15 minutes after class was supposed to start because no one's there! No lights, doors locked, no one was answering our calls, no emails or a heads up, nothing! Our class of 25 dropped to 8 that following week because the lack of unprofessionalism and communication was absurd. The one saving grace out of this school was our instructor Miss Terri. She went above and beyond making sure we weren't behind on our course due to the inconveniences that occurred that disrupted our learning days. She was patient, understanding, and lit up the classroom with her lively energy. If it wasn't for her I think the course would've been postponed again for god knows how long until they found another teacher on short notice, she saved my time and made sticking through the struggles worth it. I couldn't be more grateful but besides that I would not recommend. The lack of communication was terrible from the people in charge and even though Google reviews has a high rating (god knows how) I recommend going somewhere else for these kind of certifications. Yes it might cost a bit more but trust no low price is worth the headache and uncertainty.

Now, in 2019, I reached out to Saint Leo. I spoke to somebody on the phone, and then somebody called me again- her name was Kim. Kim was calling from the online school area. From that point on I got harassed and contacted daily. I told her that I was interested in considering transferring from Central Michigan University to Saint Leo however I wanted to make sure that all my credits would transfer over AND I wanted to get any scholarships I could, being a Georgia resident... Not only did Kim call and harass me every day, she asked me to confirm that I wanted to be an online student in writing - I told her only I only agree if I can get the scholarship that you can in on campus college. In addition she went further to have appointments with me, and then not appear, and then never told me that all my credits would not transfer from central Michigan to Saint Leo. When she finally did give me an unofficial transcript, it was well over a year of my courses missing! Kim Called me several times- refusing to schedule time to speak- as jf I'd just be waiting to spark to her. Today, after I told her that I was busy in a doctors appointment with my granddaughter- she became agitated. She asked me to have more consideration for her! Then she said I should at least let her know what I'm gonna do about my schooling. So I told her I will not be attending Saint Leo University and I do not appreciate the high-pressure tactics... to which she replied- "GREAT! Why don't you just go back to Central Michigan" You know what?? I will! DO NOT ENTERTAIN SAINT LEO- it's a scam... and if you hear from a crazy lady named Kim- RUN!

My adult son just graduated this year and will walk on stage with me in Sept 2020! A little background about myself: I already have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from another country, and I didn't get it evaluated because I was lazy and procrastinated. I decided to go back to school in 2015, graduated with an Associate degree in Psychology. Fast forward, I had my Bachelor's degree evaluated here in the US, and now I'm back at Ashworth enrolled in the Master's program in Healthcare Administration. I do recall papers that aren't graded fast enough, but then it's different now. I submitted my project/assignment last night, and it was ranked this morning. The longest, I think, was about two days. Customer service is not bad either. They are always nice to me and professional. I'm not sure why others are having this issue. All I can say is, yes, this school is not Regionally Accredited, but it is Nationally Accredited with other distance learning accreditations. I'm only doing this degree for myself and not for anybody else. I have a pretty decent job, and doing school keeps me motivated. So thank you, Ashworth!

Here's my story: I started Ashworth in 2022/2023 for General Studies. Everything was going well,…read morebut with my learning disability, I got a little behind. I paid for extensions twice, but I was still doing okay until February 2024, when I got COVID-19 very badly and had to pull out. I promised to keep on paying for tuition at $60 a month until it was either paid off or I returned at another time after I got well enough to be remitted. This past week I called and told them I wanted to be remitted and I wanted to switch over from General Studies to Early Childhood Education which I knew cost about $50 and still pay my $60 a month along with transferring some of the credits that I earned while doing my General Studies degree plan. Not only was the woman rude about me not paying the full $60 (because my paycheck doesn't hit my bank account until my bank opens which is 8 AM central time in Texas and I always pay on time) but she said I can still switch over but I have to cont. I am paying on the General Studies degree plan but I have to also do another account for the Early Childhood Education degree plan and start paying $79 on that account as well. I asked her what about transferring my credits from my General Studies degree plan to the Early Childhood Education degree plan she said they have to look over the classes I took and try to match them up with the Early Childhood Education... her tone of voice made me upset. After that I started crying, it was already a bad Christmas, and this woman made it worse. Looks like I have to find another college to take me if anybody will. I have worked very hard with very little pay as a cashier this past 17 years and I take care of my sister who is disabled and now I have to pay next month $90 (which changed from $60 without anybody telling me). So please look for another college, I just pray I can find one that will even take me now. :(

Great campus. Friendly teachers who will help you with everything and it's even easier to get in…read morecontact with their admissions/financial aid, etc. in comparison to Dunwoody. If they won't answer your call they have a minimum wait time at their physical campus. I'm usually in and out within 20 minutes even if there's a few students ahead of me. Even since the merger with Georgia State this is not a heavy traffic campus. It's easy to navigate so you can waste less time worrying about where your class is and more time studying. ALSO-- super clean and updated restrooms (at least in building B).

I have had a horrible time trying to get through the admissions process. They have it strictly…read morestep-by-step, they stick by it no matter what, no rushing anything, and all they say is that they're really backed up from all the paperwork. I don't even know if I will be able to register for classes in time. I've had a frustrating experience. My husband, for some odd reason, was classified as 'out-of-state tuition' so now we have to file this enormous petition to prove he's lived here for a year (he's lived here for over 6 yrs BTW). He probably won't be in time to register either with all the time it takes them to process paperwork. We've never had such a hard time at a college before. They wanted proof of immunizations, which I found weird considering we graduated from US High Schools. Even after they've processed all your transcripts (which they LOST the first copy I had sent BTW) and other documentation, you have to wait to ACTUALLY be admitted as a student. Then you have to do your Compass test, and lastly you have orientation with limited days and most hours during the week. Work during the week? Too bad. Not admitted yet, because of paperwork processing delay, in time to sign up for the ONLY Saturday orientation? Too bad. You can go to the other campus 2 HOURS away (gee thx!). But you can't sign up for orientation without doing the compass, so if you take the compass the day before how do you make sure you have a seat for the last day of orientation? Over the phone they said I HAD to go to orientation and suggested I go 2 hours away since I couldn't go during the week, when I went into the office they told me I didn't have to go to orientation, if everything happened too late for the Sat. class then I could just talk to a counseler and sign up for classes. Well which is it?? I'm so tired from trying to deal with it and all the red tape. They need to hire more people to help with the huge influx of paperwork they apparently have during registration time & make more orientation days, because you're just left waiting, not sure if you'll be able to go college this semester or what. I find their excuses to be unprofessional - hire more temp help then! If what they told me in the office is right, that they've processed 15,000 applications these past couple months (true or not who knows), well then lets do some simple math; 15,000 x $20 application fee = $300,000. Think you could use any of that money to hire some temp help? Hmmmm.... I don't even know about the financial aid yet, and I've heard that they're a nightmare too, so that should be interesting! Put in your application and transcripts early, or you'll be left doing the same thing. And don't let up on them at all - always check to make sure everything is looking smooth, your tuition status, all your paperwork, any holds, ANYTHING. So you can nip it in the bud. I'm always told one thing on the phone, and then another when I go to campus. And the people on campus aren't always the most friendly people (probably because now they're sick of people complaining about the admissions process and how much it sucks!!). Maybe I'll like the school, once I'm able to attend. I'll review again once I've experienced the classes and campus (if I can - hah!). But so far just a long stressful nightmare. I can't believe a school runs it's administration like this. No company would stay in business like they run their admissions process, EXCEPT the business of college.
