First, I need to start with how lovely everyone is at this practice From the front desk, RN's,…read morePhlebotomist, and even the sweet lady who checks you out. I have been very pleased with Dr. Livitz as my PCP. I find her to be very knowledgeable and not quick to medicate. However, I work 5 days a week, 8-5. I am a Registered Nurse at a facility that is difficult to take time off due to being in a transitional phase. I scheduled a telemedicine appointment with Dr. Livitz. I wait an hour, called the office to confirm I had the write day and time, I did! Dr.Livitz never showed up! I should charge her for that visit since it pulled me away from work. I let it go because she sent me an apology and said she would call that evening. She never called. This never happened before. I made my yearly physical appointment. Last week I left work early to get to this appointment. My Supervisor covered my patients so that I could see her. I showed up 15 minutes early as requested. My appointment was at 2:30, I was pulled into a room at 3:00. I let the Nurse know I had to go back to work. She stated Dr.Livitz was worth the wait. I waited and waited. 3:35 and still no sign of the Dr. My time is just as valuable as Dr. Livitz. Another day pulled away from work with no visit with the Dr. Now, I am not going to tell you to go elsewhere because I have been pleased with my care. I have family who are pleased with their choice of physicians. Dr.Livitz is a great physician but, it is rude to not show up for your appointments or have someone notify the patient that you are behind schedule. If you have nothing better to do with your time, go see her. Otherwise, choose another physician. My family loves Dr. Bruni and Dr. Morris. I now have to find another physician. I am sad about this because I have not been feeling well and would have liked to discuss this. I hope this review is helpful.

If you can get Dr Turner you are in luck. Otherwise, steer clear. They send surveys wanting to know…read morehow they do but don't improve. We were out of town, medication Dr Turner called in caused a reaction, Called next day for new script and waited from 8:30 in morning all day long for new script to be called. Vacation ruined. They couldn't care less. Not to mention the pain, vomiting, fever, etc. dealing with all night and day . Ridiculous!! At least call at lunchtime. Most offices do. They don't care!

When in Atlanta expect the following: people talk on their cell phones (badly), they're the meanest…read moredrivers and inconsiderate of anyone, the people seem angry, and the medical professionals lie like dogs. My experience with the latter, including Dr Payne's office, is that medical professionals assume that no one has caller ID and when they claim to have called the number you provided and left a message they expect you to trust "god", cause that what doctors believe anyway. I advocate for seniors and the disabled and happen to be out here to help my mom. It took longer than necessary, and me stopping by the doctor's office, to get any result -- cause I didn't get the alleged message she left. Please Atlanta medical professionals, work on ethical behavior and stop the little white lies. I will catch you in them.

Dr Karroll Payne MD and staff are awesome! They made a first time mom like me feel very relaxed…read more Even early in the morning everyone is so bright and cheerful! Dr. Payne answered all of my questions and made me feel at ease. She always asks - do you have any more questions? Which lets me know she wants me to feel comfortable asking .... I called once because the bf read some stupid "fact" online, but of course I panicked! The staff told me that the "fact" was indeed silly but told me to come in for an ultrasound anyway, if that what would put my mind at ease. Well I did come in, everything was fine, and I can laugh about it now. But I'm glad they were there for me and were 100% supportive. I would have felt so hurt if they didn't take my concerns seriously. I hate to say that Dr. Payne will not be delivering my baby as I am moving back to San Diego. I highly recommend her and I wish she would fly to SD just for me ... A girl could only wish!!

I recently spent two days at Northside Hospital Cherokee, and the care I received was as good…read moreas--if not better than--I could have hoped for. Every member of the staff I encountered treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern. My room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The Environmental Services staff did an outstanding job keeping everything spotless. On the first morning of my stay, my wife immediately commented on how clean the room looked--something she had never said during any previous hospital stay. The staff thoroughly cleaned and dusted the room, mopped the floor, and even changed the trash bag even though it was barely full. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I also noticed a small device under the sink that I later learned was a Synexis air purification system. It operates so quietly that I never heard it, but I was impressed to learn that it continuously helps improve air and surface quality by generating a safe form of hydrogen peroxide. It was reassuring to see Northside Hospital Cherokee investing in technology that helps protect patients from the spread of germs. The food service exceeded my expectations. There was a wide variety of menu choices, the meals arrived on schedule, the portions were generous, the food was served at the proper temperature, and every meal was exactly what I ordered. Hospital food often gets a bad reputation, but that certainly wasn't my experience here. My discharge process was one of the smoothest I've ever experienced. Nurse Brenda made sure my wife and I had everything packed so nothing was left behind. She asked my wife to bring the car around to the entrance, and within just a couple of minutes I was on my way home. The entire process was efficient, organized, and stress-free. The highlight of my stay, however, was the nursing staff. Their compassion, professionalism, and positive attitudes made all the difference. Brenda and Elizabeth cared for me during the day, while Nancy and another night-shift nurse--whose name I unfortunately cannot remember--provided excellent care overnight. Every one of them treated me with respect and kindness, and they always seemed to have a smile on their face. They should be highly commended for their dedication to their patients. If I ever need hospital care again and have a choice, Northside Hospital Cherokee will be my first choice without hesitation. Thank you to everyone who made my stay such a positive experience. Your hard work and commitment to patient care are truly appreciated. Irvin F

This is a huge hospital out in the mountains of North Georgia. I had…read more heard good things about it, so I felt comfortable checking in for my outpatient surgery. Staff was friendly at the check in counter, and I did not have to wait too long to get signed in. I had already spent 50 minutes on the phone for the preoperative interview. The preparation for my surgery didn't take too long either. The nursing staff was very friendly and professional. The Anestesia Doctor did his job, but he was not extremely personable. To him, I was just a number. However, my Doctor Karen Buhariwalla was amazing. She explained what would happen in the upcoming procedure, and made small talk to make me feel confident, and relaxed. After the surgery the dismissal process was easy. Noone wants to have anything to do with a hospital, but if I ever have to, I would chose this one.
