When then did their fancy scan a month ago, at checkout the young lady who insisted I pay $3k up front told me nex time there would be no charge. Today when I checked out, there was a different person who said I owed $250. I questioned that stating I was told previously no charge. In a nasty attitude she told me I had signed a treatment statement for stated amount. In other words they LIED previously. There's a new practice not too far away. Time to look for a new dentist. Unfortunately I like my dentist, hygienist and the other people, but the bitch at checkout and their high prices leave no other option.

I don't have insurance but they do offer an in house discount plan which will help if you need work done and includes 2 yearly cleanings and xrays etc. I got my first xray and exam for free which is the reason why I went! I was able to get an appointment very quickly as well. I will be returning in a few days for my cleaning and treatments. Where was this place 2 years ago!?! lol UPDATE: So far, I've gotten a cleaning as well as a deep cleaning and my feelings are even better about this place! No complaints! I received a teeth cleaning and wanted to find out why I was having some tooth pain. Through X-rays and examination, Dr. Alex said I had a couple of cavities and I would need a crown. I was afraid I would need a root canal, but Dr. Alex assured me that if I didn't need one, he would recommend that I have one. They filled my cavities, setup my temporary crown, and I came back a couple of weeks later for the permanent crown. They were able to numb me sufficiently for three cavity fillings and the crown. I tend to be hard to numb. Dr. Alex kept to his word and I didn't need a root canal. Two days before my dental cleaning, my mother had passed away. The office manager, Melissa, knew about it and brought me a small boutique of flowers at my teeth cleaning appointment. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture that I greatly appreciated. Customer service oriented and excellent dental care.

DO NOT RECOMMEND…read more Went to Social Circle Dental for crown work, and their CEREC machine malfunctioned while making the second crown, which can happen. The bigger issue was how everything afterward was handled. Dr. Jones was coughing/sneezing without a mask while adjusting a crown and then placed it back in my mouth without sanitizing it. After that, most of the remaining treatment was performed by a dental hygienist instead of the dentist. The temporary crown process involved multiple failed attempts, including one that fractured during adjustments in my mouth. A crown component was also placed directly on an uncovered countertop. The final temporary crown was extremely oversized and poorly fitted to the point that chewing even soft foods was difficult. During prolonged grinding and adjustments, there was very limited suction, causing debris to enter my mouth and eyes, which caused irritation afterward. Communication throughout the visit was poor. There was little explanation about what went wrong or what the next steps would be. The permanent crown had to be outsourced and would take about a week, yet payment in full was still required that same day before the work was actually completed. After emailing the office about these concerns, there was no meaningful follow-up, accountability, or apology. Instead, at the follow-up visit, a termination letter was handed over refusing future service to me and my family. The office appears friendly on the surface, but the way concerns were handled felt dismissive and unprofessional. Very snarky behavior from staff, including during previous visits.

A few days later i got a call from Sarah that my device was here and to make an appt for proper fit. I made the appt with a very incompetent office person named Megan. She called me back and told me i couldn't make an appt and to cancel my appt bc the provider who spoke to me at my cleaning was on vacation for 2 wks and I couldn't be seen by their other dentist? She thensaid it was bc the dentist i saw diagnosed me. I challenged her saying I didn't even speak to that dentist and she didn't even so much as read my paperwork to see I had TMJ or ask me a thing about it. She then told me me they couldn't find my mouth guard. How convenient!! SHE TRIED TO GET ME TO GET A PRESCRIPTION FOR PAIN WHEN I DIDN'T EVEN COMPLAIN OF THAT OR ASK FOR IT!! IS THIS A NARCOTICS PILL MILL?? I had to ask her tofollow up with Sarah and find out where my device had disappeared to. She told me this bc she didn't want to schedule me and was using a tactic to postpone my appt until the other provider was back even though I could be seen by DR DENA the next business day but instead she told me I could not have that appt and needed to see Dr Patel and cancelled that appt. I was told she would call me back after speaking to the person who called and said the device was there and she never called back. 3 days later I called, spoke to someone else who took a full 24 hours to inquire and ultimately said my device WAS there. She said I could pick it up and then make a f/u appt with the one dentist when she was back in town. The front office person was rude to me when I picked it up. I could tell they notated my account as a problem patient when they are the ones with the problems. The dentist was not pleasant when I came for f/u. She stated she didn't know I was getting this done?? Thats bc she never even looked at my chart and obviously the medical assistant didn't let her know. It is not my job to inform her after the fact. She spoke to me as little as necessary to adjust the mouthguard while I was there. Didn't bother then to ask me ANYTHING about my TMJ history or what my symptoms were currently. Horrible provider, horrible staff. Never going back and cancelling my husband's appointment as well. You lost not one but 2 patients. Stay away from this place.
