This practice used to be great,I've been a patient of Dr Brown since he opened an always had…read moreexceptional service and results But ever since Dr Brown has been out due to family ...as the front desk stated, it has gone down hill! Everything they touch now seems to have a problem. Fillings just fall out, or get abscessed, crowns don't fit properly, and are painful. Veneers pop off over and over...... Its so sad that his practice is dying in his absence.... I pray he sees this in time to save it.

Gateway Dental continues to flag my google posts to have them deleted so I'm here and anywhere else…read moreI can post. On 1/2/26 the visit for my husband and I was nothing short of unprofessional by Ms. D at the front desk. We did not realize my husband's insurance had changed to Anthem from UHC at the time he had already had the fillings. Ms. D went back and forth with me about she needed the member ID number and the provider number. At the time, she was not going to allow my husband to get his cleaning. I asked her if she would allow him to go back, while I get with the insurance company to get the information. AT first she didn't. My husband got upset and walked out. I was trying to tell her whatever the cost would be it would be paid, just let him go back while he is off from work now to get the services. I provided her with a telephone number I was given verbally over the phone with Anthem. Ms. D calls the number and couldn't reach anyone. She proceeds to say "the policy is we don't call more than two times". I told her don't call anymore, I am chatting with the company and will get her the information. I provided her with the ID number. She insist I give her a provider number to call. As we all know, she could have just went to check online just as another provider did over the phone today with the member number and his date of birth to see he was active. She didn't want to do it. She didn't like that I spoke up for myself and my husband to her, and didn't mind correcting her when she was wrong. I ended up chatting with an Anthem person, and they provided me with the Provider Number and the Member ID. Gave to her, and which she still did NOT contact. Let's guess. the policy. Yeah ok. She first charged $175, then she charged another $625.00 once someone showed her she didn't charge the correct amount. I provided her with my card to charge it. I asked her okay, so when you all file the claim will yall reimbursement me. She told me I needed to get reimbursed by the insurance company. As I was about to leave, Anthem rep told me once the claim is filed, they will send payment directly to the provider and I would have to coordinate reimbursement from provider. I went back inside and read her what Anthem rep stated. Ms. D then says well yeah that's how it would work. She says they have to let the outsourced person know to reimburse. I called back to speak with an office manager. Ms. D says they don't have an office manager. I asked for the owner to give me a call. Ms D replied "she will give you a call". I said well earlier you told me a he. In addition, Ms. D blatantly refused to provide the discounted rate like she added on the $10,000.00 original rate of a future treatment plan. I asked her about the discount being added on today's visit since it was self pay and she goes "since things went the way it did (or something similar to that)....." then mumbled something else. Ms. D is very unprofessional, condescending, and vindictive. I have taken the extra step in researching Dr. Marlon Brown's telephone number, and left a message. As of today, no phone call so we will not be going back there. It is apparent by other YELP reviews, the front desk/office staff is very unprofessional and I'm Not the only one who has such negative encounters with Ms. D. There needs to be an office manager who is not related to or personally know Ms. D. I am requesting my husband's claim be filed, and make sure yall office reimburse me for whatever the insurance doesn't pay. I have already asked Athem the covered percentage for the codes D4910 (80%), D0120 (100%), D3120 (80%), D2392 (80%), and D2330 (80%). I am requesting refund of all monies minus what the "contracted" rate no later than February 1, 2025 or I will be filing a grievance with the insurance company.

oh how I wish I could give this business zero stars... They…read moreare a money hungry struggling small business and they make it very obvious... I sent my wife here a few months ago as we recently moved to the area and I had some concerns based on her diagnosis / visit but I needed further verification before making a review. My wife has peridontal (previously diagnosed) so when they recommended a deep cleaning for her I didn't really think much of it even though she stays on top of getting her cleanings routinely and throughout our marriage she has taken care of her teeth due to the fact that she did not have dental insurance the majority of her life and the last decade of our marriage she has been able to maintain dental insurance due to my job. I however have had dental insurance the majority of my life and have never had even so much as a cavity in my 37 years of life. Upon entering the Loganville dental office they immediately began to tell me I may need a deep cleaning, which obviously peaked my curiosity and brought to mind the FACT that they told my wife the same thing even before they had seen her teeth. They ran through the basic x-rays and diagnostics with me noting constantly that because I had not seen a dentist in the last 3 years and the fact i have tarter on the back of my bottom row of teeth that I would likely need a deep cleaning. They also happened to reveal their hand a bit by stating things that would negate the need for a deep cleaning (before they had checked these things) like if I don't have any bone loss or multiple pockets bigger than 3-4mm. after finishing the diagnostic they noted I had ZERO bone loss, and only one pocket bigger than 3-4mm. In the world of AI and AGI we are now able to verify "professional" diagnostics by cross referencing the data with an AI query, and of course I did this and AI confirmed a deep clean is not necessarily needed in my situation. As we started the diagnostics the initial tech was constantly implying and some times even directly saying I probably have periodontal, which is absurd to even try to diagnose without having x-rays etc.. not to mention while talking about my children he quite literally said "you should bring your 15 month old daughter so she can GET USED TO STRANGERS IN HER MOUTH" I tried to let that slide in the moment but I will admit it really got under my skin and that type of phrasing is horrendous to say the least. shortly after the diagnostics I was able to see the "doctor" who by the way was not the main doctor nor the owner of the business. I told the doctor who was an Asian lady (probably Chinese) that I had been through homelessness in my early 20's and had much more tarter the first time I had a teeth cleaning after that period of my life and the prior dentist was able to clean it all with a standard cleaning. She insisted she was right because she was the professional (by the way that's a logical fallacy, specifically an appeal to authority) and I told her I would like to try a routine cleaning and if in six months she still thinks I need a deep cleaning I would do it. she insisted again that she is the doctor and would not accommodate for my request based on her "diagnosis". I told her that if she would not do it, I would go back to my old dentist in sandy springs. She told me to "have a great day then." Obviously they do not care about my health or patient care as a whole when they decline to perform a routine teeth cleaning unless I'm willing to fork over thousands of dollars for a deep cleaning. As I told them I contacted my dentist in sandy springs and she apologized for the unprofessional attitude of the lady from loganville dental and told me they will absolutely clean my teeth with a routine cleaning and if they see any need for a deep cleaning they will show me and schedule it by quadrant at a later date. they only asked I get my x-rays emailed over from loganville dental to them thus I reached out to get them emailed over, and OF COURSE loganville dental has decided to NOT send over the x-rays and ignore our request. I was asked by the practice coordinator on friday (the day of my appointment) to wait to post this until monday (today) to post this review, as she wanted to have the main doctor (who was out that day) call me to try and rectify the issue... OF COURSE he never reached out never called me or emailed me back, because he is running a scam business where this is what they do. They see a new adult patient and start pushing their sales tactics to try and run up the bill. after reading through the reviews on this business i see this is a common practice for them. BEWARE OF THESE PEOPLE THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND ARE WILLING TO BE UNETHICAL AND GO AGAINST THE HIPPOCRATIC OATH just so they can try to run your bill up and make some fast easy money. They are also proven liars as again they never reached out to me as they stated they would. fool me once shame on you... you wont be fooling me twice
