I hired this company to remove my vanity and toilet so new tilework could be installed in my bathroom. I also had them repair an outdoor hose bib that was damaged by frost. We had confirmed a specific time for their arrival, and I had carpenters standing by so they could close up the wall after the plumbing repair. Unfortunately, the plumbers were running late. I kept getting told they were "on their way," so my carpenters waited around for hours. In the end, they showed up nearly 4 hours late, and my carpenters had already left. Because of that delay, the carpenters had to improvise and return on another day, which affected the quality of the siding repair -- it didn't turn out as clean as it could have if the plumbers had arrived on time and worked with my carpenters. During the hose bib repair, Jimmy suggested that I install a bleeder valves for my outdoor shower line, which I agreed to -- but it was never done. I paid them in full to return and reinstall the vanity and toilet after the tilework was finished. When they completed that job, I discovered the toilet wasn't properly secured to the flange and moved when used. I texted Jimmy, who said he would come back to fix it, but after asking a second time and being ignored, I ended up purchasing a tool and tightening it myself. After spending $800, I was expecting better service. This is a vacation home, so I wasn't there in person and had to rely on their professionalism -- which, unfortunately, was lacking. While I've had worse experiences with contractors in the area, this one certainly didn't make my good list. I would not hire them again. read more

They put in a drainage system and left it open. I called and texted them every day for three weeks. They would lie and say they were coming out but never showed up. As of today 07/09/24. I'm having to pay someone else to take care of there left over unfinished work!!!! So hire them at your risk!!!! read more

Please do not use this company! We have just been through 5 months of dealing with lack of communication to no communication at all. They stopped showing all together after 4 months with our bathroom left unfinished and not usable. Several emails, text and calls go unanswered. It started out ok, there were missed days when they said they would show up to work but eventually wouldn't show with some excuse like dropping their phone in the mud, or having to go to the hospital, or just plain didn't have the guys to show up to do the work. We were understanding but started feeling uneasy about who we hired. Like with lots of plumbing issues, we found things that came up needing to be fixed while trying to fix something else.They started and fixed those items with 80%of the issues taken care of, but the rest is left incomplete. We've had way more days that they didn't show and even weeks in a row that they didn't show and this was before they eventually stopped showing at all. We've been patient and have really tried to get them to return our messages, but are now left with having to get a lawyer involved. All we want is communication and for them to finish the work they were hired to do. Nobody wins when lawyers get involved, but after a month of not hearing anything even when the assistant was saying every day that Jimmy Long would call us back all we got was crickets. I hired Jimmy to do two jobs at my home. He showed up on time. He did an excellent job and the cost was a fair price. However, I then began referring him to some of my clients that needed a plumber. Just small jobs. Then I referred him to do a big job, a complete bathroom remodel. About $40,000 worth of work. He showed up long enough to do the demolition. The bathroom was completely unusable even leaving a gaping hole in the floor. He left a mess outside where he was working, quit answering his phone, not returning calls, it has been about 6 months and he has completely cut off communication with the client and me. He has left my clients in a really bad position with a hole in the floor and with getting cooler. They now have mice coming in. This is not just a hole where a little pipe goes through the floor. This is about 4x4 ft hole. I am so embarrassed that I referred him to my client which is one of my best clients and now I look like a fool. I have no idea what's wrong with this company. Jimmy was very nice. Very professional. I was so impressed with them. That's why I was referring him out to my clients and now I have to be embarrassed and regret that I ever did it. He took these people's money. He has some of the things that he was supposed to buy for the job at his home. He's not returning their things they have paid for. He has left them with a huge mess to deal with. I would advise anyone to not hire him. He did have a very good reputation and was always quick to call me right back. I don't know what has happened since but I do know he's not licensed in the state of Georgia. read more

One week ago they came to hook up plumbing to anew Tankless water heater. Charged $840 and it doesn't work. They will not return my calls

Jimmy doesn't have a license and has complaints against him with the state for operating without a license. You can verify that at the Secretary of State's website. He swindled us out of $7,000 and won't return our calls. read more

If I could leave 10 stars I would! Jimmy is absolutely the best plumber, in fact the best contractor of ANY kind! He is honest, fair does immaculate work and shows up when he says he will! He has done repair jobs on leaks for us, as well as, the initial plumbing work on a new home for us. And everything has been beyond what we could have expected! I actually work in Home Depot in the plumbing department, so believe me when I say that he is THE BEST! When other plumbers were jacking up their prices during a hard winter freeze, Jimmy kept his the same and refused to price gouge! I will never use another plumber d long as he is around.
