Sadly, somehow a corporation took over and the information provided here is seriously incorrect. Also note that the corporation let go all of his prior staff and the overall service has become more difficult. I talked to the old staff at the Tree Lane address a few days before it closed and they all told me that the corporation flew a few geniuses in and over a not very thoughtful pizza lunch told all of his old staff that the office was moving, and they were not going to be moving with him or the practice. Yep, cost gutting capitalists took over and they don't give a you know what about the patients. Happily, Dr. Sharpe still does, and so I still use him as my PCP. Address update 976 Killian Hill Rd SW Lilburn, GA 30047 (770) 824-4091 So the new office is under staffed and Dr. Sharpe is working for an organization dedicated to getting as much money out of his practice as possible. FYI. The docs ... not so much. West now thinks he's a weight loss guru and Sharpe pays no attention to anything. Ms. Bertram is nice, but their former FNP Mr. Pettay was much better. Ms. Bertram always seems to be distracted and in a hurry - I once came to see her with a very simple/common 'lady issue' and she refused to treat me, even after I told her the reason I came to her was because I couldn't get a GYN appointment for another week. She still refused. It's funny ... as a nurse myself, I'd never worked with a doc/NP in any practice that would refuse to treat something so simple ... and then make me pay for the visit. If it was 15-20 years ago, I'd have nothing but raves for this group. Now it's all bells and whistles, flat screen TVs and free water and patient portals. I'd give it all back for the care I used to get in the tiny office in Snellville.

I've been a patient at this practice 3yrs now. Dr. Tabassum Safari is one of the 4 doctors at the Lenora Church road location. The staff from the front desk to the nurses are all friendly, knowledgeable, patient , understanding professionals that are consistent on every visit. If you're uncertain about an appointment or insurance benefits, they will look into it and get you the answers. The office itself is nice and clean. Not very much decor in the lobby like most offices I've visited but it's nice. Several chairs spaced due to Covid precautions. 1 TV that's set on one channel more like an advertisement of Emory services. So a little something to ponder while waiting to be seen by your doctor The lab and exam rooms are typical nothing really special there. Parking lot is quite large .. I'd say at least 50 vehicles maximum including handicap parking. I do apologize for not taking more pics of the exam, lab and lobby areas but I will on the next visit. If you're looking for a Family Doctor, give Emory a try. There are several locations throughout the metropolitan area. Scheduling an appointment is easy and convenient. Most doctors are accepting new patients. One thing I love about Emory Healthcare is that everything is there. If you need a colonoscopy, it can be done there. Every visit, diagnosis, appointment, surgery, etc is in the portal. Your doctor is notified of every lab report and exam although he or she may not have done the procedure like a colonoscopy. It's pretty cool! It's a paper trail of your healthcare...Who wouldn't want that!

A doctor who is passionate, cares about her patients and on time. So we made an appointment and as a new patient there was a 2 month waiting list, which was fine no rush and this office is supposed to be exceptional so why not wait! As we arrived we were greeted by a not so friendly receptionist who was quite rude, we were asked multiple times who referred us and were proud to tell them we found this office online and chose it due to the overwhelming flow of great reviews. Well as Dr.Sharma came in to introduce herself she went on to ask the golden question of the office, who referred you? We told her we found the office online and she then explains well I work primarily with the elderly as an advocate for their health and I will do my best to work with you but you are young and healthy. I don't understand, why you would say that to a patient and why do you not understand we waited TWO MONTHS to see you and your telling us you might not be able to see him as a patient but you will try? Are you serious? Maybe you should have addressed this with the office to not schedule you a new patient that is younger than you prefer to see.. On top of this his appointment was very short and accomplished almost nothing then we were told he needed to come back for a physical in another 2 months!! No thank you, how is this place even running? What happens if someone is sick, do they need to wait two months too?? I would definitely not recommend this doctors office!

He is on a lot of different meds and I don't know what he can and cannot take, so I find his doctor online and there is number to call so I call and leave a message. He calls back with attitude saying we weren't aloud to call the after hours service line cause my father did not pay for it. I told him the situation and asked I could give him Tylenol or something and he would not give me information said I needed to call my father and ask him. This guy does not care about his patients at all. Well that happened a couple months ago. Yesterday 3/3/15, my Mother took my Grandfather in for one of his check ups. Now my Father usually does this, anyway. When the "doctor" came in to see them, he asked my Mom why she was here. She said I'm not sure my husband usually does this with him. He went on about the above paragraphs situation about calling after hours saying we did not choose to pay the $2000 dollars to call after hours, then this "doctor" told my Mom that we needed to find a new doctor. My Mom left in tears. This guy only cares about money, he could care less if you were dying on the floor. DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY.

We live 2.5 hour's away and when I came a week before my surgery for pre-op It looks like a nice hospital. My experience started off with registration then the surgery department where I met with an anesthesiologist, they were all very kind with positive attitudes I was impressed and it made the drive worth it if everybody here gave that kind of treatment. Surgery day arrives had to be there at 5:30am so we stayed in a hotel the night before. Again. registration, pre-op and anesthesia were all friendly, knowledgeable and I was put as ease that my post op pain would be managed as my last fusions they let the pain get out of control. Surgery went as expected, PACU (from what I remember) was great then I got moved to the surgery floor thats where the 3 stars come in I have been a nurse for 21 years I never tell anyone that I am a nurse unless i am asked. i understand being busy, short staffed and demanding patients and l try my best to not bug them unless i have to. The day shift crew was great. Then second shift came in started off nice for the first hour then the bad attitude started and did not stop for the whole 12 hours. I had to use the call light to ask for my PRN pain medication I know they just don't give it unless it asked for. So that's what I did to make sure my pain was under control. My pain was just getting under control and the nurse stated there is no need to ask for the first dose that she will bring on time and then I need to start asking if I need the medicine. I waited a hour and a half because I am sure she just got buy with another patient and I didn't want to be on the call light and bother her. Now I am in tears I am in so much pain so I finally pushed the call light and that's when the attitude started for the whole shift. I had alarms on my phone to remind me when it's time for meds and push the call light to make sure I did not get out of control pain that keeps me in the hospita longe. The supervisor nurse that was at the desk was always so rude saying you just had medicine your nurse was just in there and I told her well she wrote in the whiteboard in my room that I can have it then of course my nurse comes in with attitude. i will give the night shift nurse credit she did give me my pain meds attitude and all through the night and kept my pain as controlled as possible. The rooms look nice the beds are old and very uncomfortable very cheap normal patient hospital items like it looks like a 16oz styrofoam cup the tissues are so thin and course I have never seen tissues like that. No disposable wet wipes to help freshen up after surgery. I do not recommend Piedmont Eastside for the surgical floor.
