So happy with Georgia Spa Company service. Needed service on my 2000 jetsetter. Luckily it was still under warranty. The Service tech Ken was wonderful. I had called about my salt system, I couldn't get into it. He found a light had broke and it was causing other problems also. He replaced both light harnesses behind the pillow. i was waiting on a new salt filter, system said I needed one. They expedited the shipment and got it the next day. When i installed it, it still was not letting me in the system. I called them back and they immediately ordered the part needed, they came out as soon as they got it and installed the new part. My system is up and running perfectly! I LOVE Georgia Spa! I love my spa! read more

Yet another terrible experience with the customer service side of this company. I called in June '23 to schedule the second of our Valet services, which we paid for at the beginning of the year. We wanted to schedule the second valet service while we were out of town, but they said they don't schedule one month out. OK fine, so I called on 7/6 where I was left on hold for 5 minutes only to be told that they would call me back the next day with our date/time. I received no phone call. I called on 7/12 and left a vmail after being on hold for 5 minutes again, voicing my displeasure with no callback. I got a vmail later that day saying they'd be out here next day. AND THEN they charged our card for the full $700 valet service and OVERDREW our bank account. After what I went thru with this company last year with months - literally - of delivery delays on our hot tub, then an improper installation ... it's been too much. zero stars. If I could do negative, I absolutely would. Last April (2022) we got a hot tub delivered, and it arrive with a huge hole in it. At the time, I was told that there was a 20-25 week wait to get that panel part ordered, delivered and replaced. 20-25 weeks turned into 1 year. I was in communication about this from the beginning with GA Spa. Not but 2 month later, a pump went out on the brand new unit that has only been used maybe a handful of times. I was told by the tech that this issue should never have happened on a brand new spa. That was frustrating. While trying to resolve that issue I was met by rude service techs when I was trying to reach out to get an update on that part. Finally THAT issue got fixed. I was told by management "that's what a warranty is for"... and i don't disagree but given the unit arrived damaged and then had parts that were essential for the spa to work, it was beyond frustrating. Here we are, 1 year later. I stopped getting ANY communication about the busted panel. I would call and crickets. It was "we will call you back." I had sales reps tell me thanks for your order, i can't help and that I needed to speak to so and so... sales managers wouldn't help, service managers wouldn't help. I was getting the run around and passed from person to person... rude and infuriating. I finally was able to get in touch with one person and he actually helped me. He said the part (that I've now been waiting on for 1 year) is on a truck and will be here in a week....... Now imagine how suspicious that sounds.... We spent $20,000+ and I received a busted spa, a busted pump 4 uses in, HORRIBLE communication and customer service, employees who genuinely did not care because they already got the sale, lack of care from anyone that I spoke to in the last year...... I finally got the panel after 1 year and me pestering. I do not believe it was ever on order and I do not believe it was a coincidence that I called and raised hell and it magically showed up that week. I appreciate Merritt helping me resolve this issue -- but upper Management should be appalled and ashamed to have such disregard for customer service. read more

I am very disappointed with Georgia Spa Company. I am in need of a part for the expensive spa I purchased from Georgia Spa and they REFUSED to help me. In its current condition my spa will not work, it is useless! I am an elderly retired military veteran and my elderly wife needs the spa to help with her arthritis. This is a terrible hardship on her, and I cannot get Georgia Spa to help at all! Not only did Georgia Spa refuse to help us, but the representative I spoke to became rude and actually obnoxious when I said I would not buy a replacement spa from Georgia Spa since they do not service what they sell. I purchased a Green Egg from GA Spa in Athens recently and had a warranty issue. They handled promptly and were extremely friendly. Only problem is the Green Eggs have factory quality defects and I fear this will not be the last time I have to get this one resolved. If buying from them, especially a Green Egg, take a close look at what you are receiving. If the top/bottom is flawed via pitting do not accept. They now claim they are all like that and from what I've seen by other owners that is not accurate. read more

I can't believe you would think that someone who bought probably EVERY attachment and accessory available for the BGE would lie about not receiving one of the parts. We had Leo as our salesperson and we were 100% satisfied. He went over all the options, different spas, and financing. Chris, Key, and Mike came and did my install. They were very courteous and explained everything. I was called and given my delivery day in plenty of time to be off. I only had two issues. I wasn't contacted and given and time of day delivery was. Also Hot Spring forgot to program the tub to recognize the Bluetooth system so I have to get someone out. read more

We purchased a hot tub from them, we were delivered what was expected. I will say delivery technician installed incorrect cartridges and minerals for our tub but the stores corrected this and other instructions we were given. We have always found store staff to be helpful and educating about our hot tub. They help us make informed and educated decisions. read more

Great company to purchase a spa from as long as you don't have any problems. I purchased my spa and everything was going great then one day I went out to use the spa and it was not heating. No big deal right, the spa is under warranty? I called into Georgia Spa and they told me yes it was under warranty and they would send someone out in a few days to fix it. But there was a $50 trip charge that would have to be paid before they would come out. In talking to the repairman he told me that this was a common problem with my model spa that the manufacturer was aware of, a defect. He repaired it and so far the Spa is working. So I guess I should have read Georgia Spas fine print more in detail, and be aware, as much as they talk about customer support and standing behind their customers they don't, they will nickel and dime you every chance they can. When you buy something and it under warranty you expect it to be covered. If the manufacturer has a defective part should they not stand behind there product and pay to have it repaired? I am sure they did, its just a way Georgia Spa can make more money! Its not like I can put the spa in the back of my car and take it to the repair center. When I spoke to Georgia Spa they told me that they get this same complaint all the time. Proving my thought that they are more about the bottom line than their customers. Do not let them fool you! If you are looking for a spa I would defiantly be very careful of Georgia Spa what other charges will be coming your way while your spa is under "warranty". They are AWFUL. I had purchased a bullfrog spa from them about 5 years ago. They charged me for a clean and drain four times a year ($250 per treatment). In Nov 2016, they did a clean and drain - never saying anything about the leak present. When I noted the leak a week or two later, they sent someone up to fix it, charged me - and said they did not have the parts to fix it. The person they sent up that day left with the disconnect piece from the electrical box so the electricity could not be turned on. I did not realize that until they sent another repairman up - who could not turn it back on because the disconnect piece was missing. He also claimed that the previous repair had been perfomed incorrectly - but they were and always had been the ONLY people working on the spa. Then they sent my bill to an incorrect address - so a stranger had my information. When I called them, they denied everything and offered an $11 refund for the missing electrical box piece (which they expected me to go out and find). They are awful - both on the front and back end and I would NEVER recommend them. I ended up replacing the spa with a more reputable local company. read more
