We stopped in on New Year's Day while visiting the quaint town of Floyd. We called first to verify they were open since it was a holiday. Located within an older building less than a block off the main street in downtown, it is very charming from the exterior. We were a bit surprised when we walked in to see just how tiny it is inside. There are no more than 12 seats total between various tables and chairs and window counter seating. We were immediately greeted upon walking in and the young lady working was quick to prepare a table for us. The table with two chairs were the only available seats. We were provided menus and our drink orders were taken. Shortly after we arrived and we were looking over the menu we were fortunate enough to meet the owner, Mr. Albert Geraldi. He was delightful and shared with us a little bit about his life. A young 87 years old, he shared that he has opened over 30 restaurants throughout the country throughout his life. We also found we share a connection to the west coast, specifically Oregon and the Lake Tahoe area. He and his partner even owned and operated a winery in Southern Oregon at one time. We learned his grandson, Joseph currently owns and operates a Geraldi's in McMinnville, Oregon, which was quite ironic since we had visited McMinnville in the past 10 days for the holidays. We asked him for menu suggestions and he was happy to share with us some of his favorites and told us he prepares 150 meatballs every two days by hand. We were really excited when we saw the two young men who were sitting next to us get their calzone delivered to their table The large was humongous therefore I ordered a small pepperoni & sausage calzone and my wife ordered the garlic Geraldi personal pizza with a side salad with balsamic dressing. You can tell Geraldi's is a local favorite because of all the people coming in and either picking up to go orders or having personal conversations with the employees. Even though it is very small, the tables kept turning over and there was an abundance of to-go orders. We were very surprised how quick our food was delivered and it looked absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed each and every bite! Mr. Geraldi talked with us a little bit about Italy and Sicily and we shared with him we're planning to visit in the near future because of my heritage from Italy. Not only was this a fantastic food experience it was a memorable personal experience that we will remember for a long time. We look forward to returning to Floyd to stop in at Geraldi's and further explore the area on a future trip.

The best pizza in Floyd County! We will definitely be back to try their other specialties! Service was exceptional and all of the staff assisted us when and if needed and were very attentive to our needs, the venue is very small but the flavor is larger than Floyd itself! It is a very comfortable and cozy location and looks like a very nice place for a date. Tiramisu is the best so have ever had. Our son raved about their NY Cheesecake. My wife said the cannoli was delicious! We are more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the exceptional service here We will definitely be back. If you can come try their food but haven't - you're missing out!

We had a lovely late lunch @ Geraldi's. Mr. Geraldi greeted us and asked if everything was good. He even brought us one of his meatballs w/ marinara sauce, 110 year old recipe, which was so delicious- along with everything else. The cozy atmosphere made our lunch more of a unique experience. Everyone was so nice- from the servers to the customers. Since there are only 12 seats- customer's would get up from their tables as others came through the door and say we are just finished. I would give Mr. Geraldo 10 stars for creating such a sweet spot in downtown Floyd :-)

Geraldi's is the REAL DEAL, with real Italian family recipes made by the family themselves who will proudly tell you about the origins of their family in Naples and Sicily, with old family photos nearby. Incredibly friendly and caring workers. Albert, the owner, is a gem of a person. Delicious food with accommodations for gluten intolerance! Great gluten free pizza and calzones. A lot of the ingredients are made in-house, including dough and Alfredo sauce. I highly recommend trying this place if you're around town.

    Handmade lasagna with marinara sauce.

Food was excellent! The Homemade lasagna was out of this world and the owner who visited our table was the cherry on top of the meal!

Our party of 4 started with a wine tasting at the bar with a very friendly, knowledgeable pourer. Every wine was good, some better than others but all good. (It should be noted that they do not grow their own grapes due to the altitude.) After our tasting we ordered food and got bottles of glasses of wine and found a table on the covered patio as it looked as if it could rain. They were not offering their wood fired pizzas this day because of the possible bad weather which was disappointing as we were all looking forward to it but we did order some sandwiches which were pretty good. All in all a very good experience and their winery dog made it even better. Oh they also have a bocce court which was nice to see but we didn't play as it was wet from a previous rain shower.

Please do not patronize Creek Bottom Brewing…read more It is not a safe place for women or children. Creek Bottom is at the center of a local controversy involving a young man named William Ayers. In 2023, Ayers was convicted of child rape (carnal knowledge of a child) and abduction. He was released from prison last year, back into our community. Upon his release, Creek Bottom Brewing began employing him to work in the brewery--as a known convicted child sex offender. In February, while working for Creek Bottom, Ayers was arrested AGAIN for ANOTHER sexual assault, strangulation, brandishing a firearm, and abduction by force. It got a little media attention as the "Valentine's Day Rape." Recently added to his list of charges is possession of child porn and sexual abuse of an animal. Where does Creek Bottom come in, beyond offering a job to a known child sex offender? William Ayers' parents are the owners of Creek Bottom. They made the choice to employ him at their brewery, along with their many young women employees and the families who visit the restaurant. Our dollars spent at the brewery unwittingly went directly towards Ayers' paycheck. Many community members feel that Creek Bottom's owners have made horrendous decisions that endanger our community by choosing to have their son employed at the brewery, and by supporting/enabling him in other ways. It is readily apparent that Ayers' parents employ pricey high-powered out-of-town attorneys to defend their son from his charges. (Courtroom interactions between those attorneys and the father of William Ayers reinforce this, with the attorneys pulling Daddy Ayers aside for extended conferencing before making motions.) A couple of days ago, Ayers was offered bail set at $900,000. That means that if his supporters/enablers come up with a $90k bail bond agent fee, or $900k on their own, Ayers will AGAIN be released into our community. All of this is a matter of public record: past convictions, state sex offender registry that showed Ayers working at Creek Bottom until his latest arrest, ownership of Creek Bottom, recent charges, and ongoing court case with private legal defense. All members of our community can and should make their own INFORMED choices here. Sending your money in Creek Bottom's direction could literally help lead to this individual being released into our community once again. Endanger the wealth that is supporting him, and we may be able to make a real difference for community safety. Please don't unwittingly contribute to a William Ayers legal defense fund or to bailing him out to walk among us again. If you see fit, stand by us in this effort.
