    Nutella s'mores brownie

The staff is so nice. The food is wonderfully delicious! Such a cute space to go with friends.

    Cannoli cupcake

We popped in right before closing and grabbed a cannoli cupcake and peanut butter macaroon. BOTH were delicious! The macaroon was perfectly chewy and crispy with a filling not too sweet. The cupcake was moist with the right amount of frosting.

Frozen lemonade 10/10 good not too sweet but not bitter or sour it's good

Food was good felt homemade the best service the nicest welcoming people and place and overall I really like the place food service and energy

By far my favorite place to stop by for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. Creative Cakes is a powerhouse of a cafe in the Worcester Public Market, I've been a frequent customer for a couple years and will literally eat here every opportunity I have to do so. It's always clean, the staff are all very kind, friendly, happy individuals that make it a very comfortable environment AND THE FOOD... there is literally not one item on their menu you can try and not enjoy, as food service quality department employee for years and having grown up in a restaurant and being fortunate enough to eat in lots of high quality places throughout my life Creative Cakes really stands out to me, the menu has something for everyone, the pastries are delicious, the breakfasts are extremely satisfying; my personal favorite items are their customizable breakfast bowls, they're as hardy and filling or guilt free and healthy as you want them to be and are satisfying no matter how you decide you want them, the quesadillas are also perfectly balanced; not greasy, not too messy but nice and crispy on the outside, they taste like happiness. It's easily my favorite place for a good coffee in the area too, right now there's a chocolate covered strawberry special that tastes like Valentine's Day in a cup abs they're always coming up with cool new flavors and other kinds of drinks to satisfy anyone's preference. If you want a nice cold drink they do iced coffees, teas and make INCREDIBLE smoothies their new mango coconut smoothie is to die for, tastes like the Caribbean and makes me feel like I'm back on the island I came from. You can't go wrong here, I promise you won't regret trying Creative Cakes if you haven't already as someone that has tried everything on the menu at least once I can confidently say EVERYTHING is really, really good. Below is just a couple pics of taken of the culinary treasures I've been fortunate enough to enjoy.

My fiancé and I had been having a lot of trouble finding a venue that could host our crowd at a reasonable price, so we were beyond thrilled when Birchtree not only accommodated our 60 guests beautifully, but we actually ended up under budget. From start to finish, the service was phenomenal. The team was genuinely invested in making sure our night was perfect. They went above and beyond in every way and more than accommodated anything we needed. We had an outpouring of texts the next day from our guests. So many people let us know how beautiful the venue was and how wonderful of a time they had. The space itself truly showed a refined elegance which was the perfect kickoff to our wedding season. If you're thinking about working with BirchTree, Jayne, Caitlin, and the entire staff we're incredibly organized and attentive to detail, helping us set up, pack up, and even ensured all guests had clean tables, fresh drinks, and the bar staff recommended really unique cocktails & mocktails! We are so grateful to the entire BirchTree team, especially Jayne and Caitlin for helping us set the tone for our wedding. We would absolutely recommend having an event here - you will be in the best hands!

Space was nice and airy, art was cute, food was solidly mediocre. Everything was missing out on seasoning, except the tomato soup. The soup was solid. Bathrooms were quite dirty. What I love: consistently delicious food in every changing and interesting flavors! Local business…read moreowned by local people! Frequent inclusion of butterscotch chips, a slept-on flavor! Cool higher end culinary items for purchase and some other weird but welcome items like handmade soap! Good community posting board! Chill vibes and surly baristas that make you feel like you're in a bigger city! What I don't love: there are never signs telling what the baked items are, so you literally have to ask one by one at every visit- as does every single person in line. It makes me feel guilty for the people behind me and I often rush before fully exploring my options. This is made worse when I bring my small indecisive child, so I go elsewhere when I have him with me. Also- 90% of the time that I have asked, the attending barista isn't certain what the baked items are and says something like "I think that one is an apricot and cheese danish. Or cheese and some fruit. I'm not positive." At Crust's prices, I'd like to know what I'm buying and I would appreciate time to make a decision. Why won't you tell us what your yummy pastries are?? Lastly- the automatic tipping options are so high (this is coming from someone who never tips below 20%) that it makes me wonder if you're paying your employees appropriately, or expecting tips to make up the difference. If you were to change one thing and one thing only from this feedback, PLEASE consider labeling your baked goods! I truly cannot think of a good reason why not to.

Been going there since it opened, still visit whenever I'm in town…read more The Pickle Barrel has been around for 50 years now. That's some accomplishment in modern times. We went there almost daily in the early-mid 70s for lunch. My favorite was the scallops on Friday, these are not heavily breaded, and have a unique taste. Another is the corned beef hash on Thursdays. The antipasto salad is great and the corn muffins are the best around. Gus is still running the place - he was a "junior" way back when I first started going. I'm glad he has kept it running and expanded it over the years. whenever I'm in Worcester, I go there, and my sisters still go once in a while. It has a hometown atmosphere, which is great being that Worcester is my home town. There have been many, many servers / waitresses there and all have been excellent.

My wife got the pancakes special. She tells me the pancakes are "the best she's ever had." Very fluffy and flavorful. I had the Pickle Barrel Omelette. It has sausage, feta, tomatoes, onions and peppers. Mine was average, at best. The home fries needed seasoning, badly. The omelette was good. Mainly carried by the feta. We did agree on the coffee: not favorably. It "delivered the goods," but it wasn't very good. It seemed watery.
