My car went in for a minor front fender bender. The overall repair seems ok but after driving some time it sounds like a wheel bearing was damaged in the collision and they missed it. Not sure this as they refuse to look at it. But for sure they messed up big time on the paint. See pictures. Other repair places want to use this as advertising! The car is back in its home state now but Gerber has a local office. I have been trying to coordinate warranty work for over a month now and zero progress. Not even a call. The Cat City Gerber says this is a paint "reaction." Other painters might say it's flat out bad prep work. read more

I have Geico for my insurance and I took my car per Geico, to Gerber for an estimate. I was told by the estimator that the estimate would be with OEM parts which I was happy about. When he came back with the estimate it was all non-OEM parts and I asked why and he said that is what Geico requires. When I left and called Geico, they said it was not true and they would approve OEM parts for catalytic converter. I was on my way to my repair shop and now the repairs have been put on hold until someone else from Geico can come out and take pictures and give an updated estimate. No good! I had taken time off work to handle it and it delayed my return to work and delayed me getting my car repaired and back read more

Juli Perry, project coordinator kept me informed at all times and stages of the repair job. she made sure that the repair work from my rear- fender hit was done on time, to ensure I did not go beyond my allotted time on my insurance-covered rental car while repairs were being made. When I told them of my scheduling difficulties on the day of delivery, from work... Juli, her office manager, and front receptionist graciously waited for me to arrive to pick up my repaired Ford Fusion! This is professionalism I have not known since I was a toddler back in the 70s. to summarize, I had dropped off my vehicle for a claim totaling to over $4000 and each time they told me the car was done there was something damaged or not finish, totaling to 5 trips here and 1 month and 10 days, where I only got a rental for 7 days and it was still not correct. The attention to detail is far from mediocre, throughout my 5 visits back there was a massive over spray spot on the front bumper trim and over driver side doors and the driver front fender was not finished and still rough, a dent(s) left unfixed though they painted over it, buff marks, over spray and damages to the rear bumper from their trim tools, fog lights not be plugged back in, door handles not installed correctly, trim pieces not full re-adhered to the body panels. I also don't believe they paint in a dustless paint booth because there are specks in the clear coat everywhere. The staff is extremely friendly, I dealt with Kim primarily and I was very friendly back but at the end of the day you pay for a service and the service was never correctly done in 5 attempts. Towards the last 2 visit when I mentioned things that were not correct her response was just "OK, well do you want to leave it?". Kim had also offered a gift card when I came back for the 5th and final time when there were still issues, I told her that doesn't fix the problem and mentioned afterwards if she wants to make it right I would like a gift card mailed to me for the total of losses (time, wages and rental car) and she ghosted me. I gave her 3 weeks to get back to me and she never did. The car is at another shop now fixing all of the mistakes. read more
