I had an accident and had heard good things about this establishment. So when my insurance adjuster said I would need to get an estimate, I requested this shop. On day 1 I was greeted by Gabriel, and he was very nice and knowledgeable on what they do. And immediately took me out to inspect my truck, and then we went to get me an estimate. I thought the prices were very reasonable, and that made me happy. I wasn't expecting to drop off the car that day, but Gabriel said they could reach out to the Rental car agency. Unfortunately, Enterprise only had one vehicle and it was out of the price range that insurance would cover, so I said I would have to look somewhere else. That's when Louie reached out to Enterprise, and was able to get me the vehicle for the amount that the insurance covered. I was very impressed!! I was told that it would take about a week for me to get my car back, but actually it only took about five days. So I was happy to get my truck back before the holiday weekend. I was called on 7/1 and was informed that my truck would be ready in a few hours and that it was being washed. When I arrived, my car was in pristine condition, Jesus and his team did a wonderful job. I felt like a VIP client. And I'm sure everyone that's taken their vehicle there, feels the same way. I was referred to Gerber from a friend when I needed my side mirror of my car completely replaced. I stopped by to get a quote for replacing my side mirror and they walked me through line by line what each part would cost. I was hoping to get it fixed quickly so Gabriel overnighted the parts I needed, and the next day they were ready to do the repair. They took great care of my car and told me it would be a half day repair job, but they got it done in less than hours! Gerber went above and beyond for us once again! We used them before when we lived in Santa Barbara and they were so great to work with--so much so that we now live in San Luis Obispo and drove down just to use them again. Louie is so personable, and customer service is clearly his #1 priority. When it was time to pick up my vehicle, I needed to take the train. Because of my schedule, I needed to take a later train that arrived after the shop was already closed. Even though they were closed, they had somebody communicating with me and waiting for me at the train station--and the train was even 30 minutes late! I could not ask for a better experience with auto body work. I first came into Gerber a few days after my accident and after an estimate I was told that the most probable outcome was a total loss. After speaking to my insurance I learned that Gerber Collision could repair my vehicle and avoid a total loss because of price agreements between them and the insurer. It was a pretty bad accident but Gerber Collision managed to have my car repaired in about 2 weeks! They provided updates along the way and made sure I was satisfied with the information they gave me. Once they presented me with the finished product, my car looked brand new. Gerber Collision also provided a diagnostic check for me, aligned my car prior to turning it over to me, and gave me a lifetime warranty for the repairs.
