I originally only came here because it's a preferred vendor for my insurance, but I'm glad I did. They were very flexible with my schedule and when I would be able to get my car in to get fixed. I had a fender bender, so the car was driveable, and I had limited availability when it originally happened. I was able to get it in the dates I needed and they originally told me a week, but it was done in 3 days! They called with updates, worked directly with the insurance so I didn't have to and made the whole process simple. I had a great experience with Carubba and felt I had to share since there are 4-5 choices for collision repairs in a 1 mile stretch on Camp. After my initial estimate from Progressive I took my car to Carubba and they handily beat the estimate and even helped me out with a rental car and on my deductible. On top of that, they have free defensive driver classes with any repair. Haven't taken them up on that yet. The waiting room is clean and has free Keuring coffee. The repair itself was done well and in a reasonable amount of time. A nice suprise was that the interior of my car was detailed, too. Not just new car smell...I mean $100 Delta Sonic level detailed. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I had to take my vehicle back 4 times to get it to a semi functional state. Still no where near pre-accident condition, and on the 4th time they sent my vehicle to on a flat bed truck to a Honda dealer to work on it because they couldn't figure out how to fix it. They were set on reusing component that seemed to have been damaged in the accident. My vehicle was rear-ended so all of the damage was isolated to the bumper/tailgate/rear-end area. I have heard another person who also had a bad experience at this location with the front end collision and ended up having to get another mechanic to correct issues which Carubba would not fix properly. Unless you have endless time to keep taking you vehicle back so they can try to get it right find a different shop. read more

Yes the customer service is good and the rental car is nice however the work they did was far from par. The paint warranty is a lifetime tail light warranty. If there weould be any kind of damage it voids the warranty. So when the plastic bumper flexed from the wind and snow over the winter the bumper paint chipped and flaked off to reveal that the bumper wasn't even scuffed well enough to hold the paint on. Latter had a 2nd accident and come to find out they didn't rust proof the welded studs so I'm 5 years or so that this other shop said the front end would rust out and fall off. Along with that they used the wrong parts for the fenders which the 2nd shop had to replace even though they weren't damaged because the bumper wouldn't align. So if you are going to keep your car after you get it back I would say stay clear of there. read more

First time I have ever had a vehicle repair shop talk me out of getting work done. Not in a good way. I took my vehicle here because they were close and they have a "name" in WNY. After getting service done at a different auto shop which does not do body/collision work, I was advised that somewhere I was taking on water. Not a lot, but enough that the other repair shop was pretty certain it wasn't just from melting snow. They told me they don't do body work and suggested a collision shop. I made an appointment with Carubba on Camp Rd. The dude could not have been more apathetic. He essentially said that the other place didn't know what they were talking about and that it was just from snow. He said he "could keep it" but then he would have to "blah blah blah (where he describes the actual work to determine if there is water coming in and where from) as if it was going to be the biggest pain in his butt)." But, he assured me, it was almost certainly nothing that he could see (from spending 5 minutes quickly looking it over). He also told me that he couldn't give me an estimate to even determine if water is coming and and where it is coming in from, which is ridiculous. I understand not being able to give an estimate to repair without knowing what the damage is, but water leaking into the cabin of a sedan is pretty standard; you can't even give me a ballpark just to determine where the water is coming in? Whatever. At first I was pleased because I thought he was doing a stand-up thing by telling me that it's probably not a leak and potentially sacing me money. That was 3-4 weeks ago. He was wrong. Water is definitely coming in. So I need work done on my vehicle due to water coming in from somewhere. I'm not taking it to Carubba. I could have had this fixed weeks ago if Carubba actually wanted my money and my business. I love an honest shop that will tell you truthfully whether or not you need work done and not BS you on upsells or useless accessories. But to give a car a quick once over and declare it good isn't honesty. It's laziness. It's also a great way to lose business forever. read more

Good customer service, I was able to call on the phone an schedule for an estimate within minutes. I hope my insurance covers the damage because it sounds like they are very pricey. I will update this review when they get the work on my car finished. read more

Having reported an auto damage claim to my insurer, they forwarded the claim to Geico. Geico called me within the hour, and after talking with their insured, they offered a number of collision shops but recommended Carubba. I went with Carubba. Within a couple of hours Carubba called and set up an appointment. When I dropped off the car the next day, an Enterprise car rental was waiting for me. My car was inspected and left for repair. Two days later my car was ready for pickup, and I dropped off the Enterprise car at Carubba. There was no evidence on the car that it had ever been damaged, except that it was much cleaner. They absolutely butchered my vehicle. I have minor damage to my Jeep, took it there because they have a relationship with USAA. Worst mistake ever. After 4 days they called me to tell me it was done. I pull up into the parking lot and I immediately see the passenger side fender is still pushed in. I'm aghast. I point this out to the manager and he tells me that's not from the accident. Oh really?! Direct impact to that fender, but that wasn't part of the accident. Shop worker comes out, opens up the hood and starts pushing it over trying to align it with the damaged side. I'm simply in WTF mode at this stupidity and yell at him to stop. After 20 minutes of the manager arguing with me I finally refused to pick up the vehicle. I come back two days later, side is fixed. But my new fender is scratched, the new bumper is gouged, there was evidence everywhere of heavy tool use trying to pry off old parts. My hood was scratched, not once but three long very deep scratches. And the hood is crooked at this point, probably from the idiot trying to align it to the pushed in fender..... I point this out to the manager again, and again I refuse to pick up the vehicle. This went on for several attempts. Attempt 6 I basically gave up, drive off figured I take it somewhere else and make a new claim. Within 12 hours I lose steering. Luckily I was only going 5 mph in a parking lot. I call em up when I realize there is damage to the steering dampener on the same side as the impact. Of course they refuse all responsibility. My Jeep has to get flatbedded back to their shop, USAA refuses to let me take it somewhere else because now its a warranty claim against their workmanship. Guess who denied all Responsibility!! Her name is Julie, manager at the camp road location. Do not trust this woman. Lying POS. She claimed Clevehill automotive who was contracted to fix the issue and do alignment saying found no damage. I go to clevehill and their technician is telling me everything I already know: they dun f**ked up. Screw it, I take my jeep to the dealer and have them work on it. Had it fixed in less than two hours and they charged Carubba. Carubba still maintains no responsibility and refuses to honor their warranty. Carruba in turn charged USAA for the additional work. That is their warranty folks, ignore the problems and rip off in the insurance instead of taking responsibility. So if you want your car butchered, ruined, damaged, treated like crap and repaired with no regard for your safety, take it Carubba and ask for Julie!! read more
