The service provided by this location was excellent. From the initial contact, Ashley made me feel comfortable by explaining in details the steps they will take to fix my car. It was also a great advantage that they had special rates with the local rental agency since my insurance did not pay for the rental saving me a few bucks. The communication was excellent, Ashley kept me in the loop of the progress on the repair, informed me when delays were happening and why via texts and phone calls. The information were detailed and accurate. The repairs were done within the time frame given to me. The payment (my deductible) was due upon the repair being completely finished. In other words, I did not spend a dime until the repairs were done. A full detailed final bill was given to me. A walk to examine the repairs were done. Ashley answered all the questions I had before giving me the key. I did not even had to drive back the rental to the rental agency since they will be taking care of it themselves. He kept me up to date on the day to day repairs my car had, as well as made sure I was taken care of with the rental company and if I had any questions or needed any assistance. My husband and I were in an accident Feb 1st and USAA drug their eggplant in the dirt taking ANY kind of action. Gerber was on it and kept us up to date the whole 18 days it took USAA to actually get it to their shop. Once it was there the gals in the front office (Lexie and I think another lady) kept my husband up to date and in the loop on what was going on and what they were waiting on. The level of customer service is above what we expected. While we hope we don't have to use them again, we know where we're taking our cars if we need to in the future! This place is outstanding!!! Their office staff is amazing & they all genuinely want to help you the BEST way possible. I got hit in a parking lot and their insurance suggested I use Gerber. SO glad I did. I had damages on both sides of my bumper. This was my first time putting my car in the shop all by myself. I'm 22 LOL! Donnie made it such an easy process. It was truly painless! I called to schedule an appointment to go have my car looked at and no one ever called me back to schedule. So I called again and finally got someone to schedule an appointment. I showed up, a guy took pictures of the car, took my information and said he would get back to me with a quote. After two weeks no one still had called me back. I had to call and the receptionist had to look up my quote and didn't know why someone had not called me back. She said the manager would call me. Manager never called. Their customer service is awful. The only reason I gave them a two star is because they have fixed my car in the past and that experience was great. read more

Their bumper work was okay, BUT an employee stole all the change that was in my console. A guy from Gerber in Chicago called me at some time later and asked how my satisfaction was with their work. I answered okay but told him about the theft of the money. He said that wasn't okay, but that was all of the matter. He never asked me how much so Gerber could reimburse me or anything like that. Two weeks ago, a lady rear ended me on I75. I went through her insurance and Gerber was their top their selection. I went with them and had no issues. When I arrived, the gentleman looked over my maxima and told me what he thought would be wrong, but said they needed to take a closer look. They called my rental car company and had them pick me up. I just went and picked my car up today (08/01/2018) and was pleased with the service. The ladies in the office were very friendly definitely had no problem with customer service. I know when you drop your car off they get you to sign agreement about valuables in your car however, It's my car and my stuff and when things like this happen you don't remember everything. I left a gift card in my door compartment that is closed up so it was not in plain sight you had to be snooping to find it, so I find it so sad that whom ever stole it did just that. So whom ever you are I hope it did you some good. While I will just tell my granddaughter she has to wait for her school clothes because someone else took it among themselves to steal the Gift Card that I was planning on using to help get her school clothes. The front office staff of this auto body/glass repair shop was truly phenomenal. I was referred to them by a friend regarding my immediate need for a damage report estimate due to an accident. Ms. Debbie, the Office Coordinator, sprang into action and got me an appointment the same day. Ms. Ashley, the Estimator to whom I was assigned, was truly a class act. She was professional, courteous, pleasant and very skilled in her craft. She assessed the damages to my car, completed the formal estimate report and had it in my possession all within an hour. Truly Awesome! She also facilitated communication and correspondence between myself and the "at fault" party's insurance company regarding their receipt of the estimate as well. Because of her Amazingly detailed report, they accepted full responsibility for the damages and compensated me accordingly. Ms. Debbie also ensured that I was placed in a fully sanitized rental as I awaited further examination of said damages. At first everything seemed great. Customer service was on point. The people who helped me were friendly. My problem actually arose before getting my car. No one left a voicemail to let me know that my car was ready on said day. I got a call from the place where I rented my car asking how everything is, which made me wonder if it was time to return the car as they never called me before. Called Gerber and was told as if I should have known, that my car was ready for pickup. I got my car and headed to work. I was already running late and when I got to work, i found that the key was having trouble coming out of the ignition. It was bent, which means my car was driven to me to leave Gerber with the knowledge that something was wrong with the key. No one said not a word. Management did not take outright responsibility, which I thought was sneaky as my key was obviously damaged at their location; instead of them ordering a new key with the maker of my car, they had a copy made for me. I thought that that was really cheap of Gerber considering how much money they got from repairing my vehicle as well as the inconveniences they were causing me.
