After a long trip from Massachusetts to Kennesaw to visit a friend en route to FLA, I noticed there was a some sort of liquid/moisture on the asphalt where the car was parked. I spoke to Bill and he told me to bring it by and he might be able to get it on a lift and check it out. Even though the shop was pretty busy and backed up, he managed to fit me in. He checked it out, and determined that there wasn't a leak and everything was good. He sent me on my way with no charge. Fantastic and friendly service, really helped me out. I had an older jeep that i would bring in before and other companies could never connect the plug to the jeep for some reason but at Napa they were always quick in and out. This was a crazy electronic issue with lights flashing, the truck not registering being in park and the radio not turning off even with the key out. Unbelievable. So thankful for the kind and hard working staff here . My car arrived at 10am today with the battery dead and broken terminal . By noon I was called and quoted 230$ for the total . The terminal my car requires is why it was 230$ . Jason was extremely informative and professional . He even offered to come get me if necessary. This is where we will continue to do our car maintenance. Update .... was called back when car was done and Jason told me that the new total is 213.33. In an industry and society where so many would do what they can to call and tell you why it's MORE expensive it was wonderful to receive that update ! I love these guys. My family has been taking our cars here for as long as I can remember. I've only had to bring my cars here 1-2 times so far, but I've enjoyed the fast service and great personalities every time. Most recently, my car's automatic transmission light AND check engine light came on. I tried taking it to a mechanic nearby Tuesday morning and they said they'd get back to me in a "few days." I called them Thursday afternoon and they said they wouldn't even look at my car until the next day or Monday! I brought it to Kennesaw Auto Center overnight because I knew they had better customer service. Sure enough, they got back to me about an hour or so after they opened the next day! Unfortunately, it was an internal electrical problem, so they were not able to fix it themselves. However, they recommended a electric/transmission expert that ended up fixing my car AND they provided me with a free shuttle back to their store after I had taken mine to the other mechanic. From now on, Kennesaw Auto Center will be the first place I take my cars when something goes wrong. I personally spoke to Corey this instance and he was very understanding and kind. My parents have both worked with Brian in the past. All 3 of us highly recommend you take your cars to Kennesaw Auto Center! read more

I really like this place. So far (luckily), I've only had to take our cars in for routine check-ups. With that in mind, I've always found their prices to be fair, their service to be excellent, and I don't feel that I've ever been upsold on unnecessary services. In fact, the last servicing I got on my car there (30,000), the technician said that it was in great shape and nothing needed to be done outside of what the 30,000 mile tune up consisted of. In the end, I know that places like Jiffy Lube and Express are cheaper (and faster), but I personally feel that leaving this place, the work is done properly. Besides, I've never been to a Jiffy Lube in my life where they didn't try to get me to change my air filter (even if I just had it changed at the last tune up!). read more

This review is based only on an estimate they gave my wife for repairs on our truck. We did not use them for the repairs so I can't review the quality of their work. Our truck was overheating and the mechanic (who works at a national repair shop...will not name here) that initally saw the truck determined it needed a new radiator fan clutch (not the clutch in the transmission). He gave us an estimate of $450 to replace the part. That price included the part, the labor to change the part as well as the tow fee to have the vehicle towed from where it broke down. Before we went ahead with the repairs we decided to call around to get a few other estimates; most were in the same ball park except for Kennesaw Auto Center...they were drastically higher. My wife is the one who called Kennesaw Auto Center. She asked for a quote to replace the radiator fan clutch and they gave her an estimate of just over $2000.00. She explained that she wasn't looking for the transmission clutch to be changed...just the fan clutch. They confirmed that the fan clutch was indeed the part they were talking about and they explained they needed to pull the engine out of the truck to replace the part. At that point she ended the phone call. We had a family friend (who has basic tools and a one car garage) change the part for us. No engine pulling was required and he had the part changed in 1.5 hours. I would not reccomend these folks but if you do use them double check the labor required. read more

We have counted on Kennesaw Auto to service our 2013 Accord and 2013 Escape since we moved to Kennesaw in 2018. They had great reviews and we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed then or now. This is a group of true professionals in every way, from the way they handle the routine service to the way they have been able to diagnose difficult problems. They always greet you with a welcoming smile and are happy to see you. After my Escape was totaled in an accident, they have been caring for our 2013 Explorer which has had a few issues. The last was motor mounts of all things. What a difference since they replaced those three parts. It's like a completely different vehicle and we love the change! Seems like a trustworthy mechanic, which can be hard to find. The waiting area was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. My brake pads were squeaking. I took my car to another mechanic that told me my calipers were bad, so I took my car here for a second opinion, and they looked carefully at the exact same caliper that the other mechanic said was bad, and let me know that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Basically, this mechanic saved me from being taken for a ride by another mechanic. They did my pads the same day, and threw in a tire rotation for no charge. I even got a thank you letter from them in the mail a couple of weeks later with a coupon for 10% off my next visit, so that was a nice touch. read more

Have used these guys repeatedly for years with a AAA discount but they have really let us down now. Dealer recommended a repair that we needed so we took it to Kennesaw for a more reasonable price. They stated that they completed the work but car was still making the noise. Took the car back to the dealer who said that the needed repair had not been done. Don't know what Kennesaw did for my $250. Also- lately their "discounted" prices are at least $50 higher than everyone else just for labor costs alone. read more

It was a miserable experience, and I'd give Kennesaw Auto Center at Moon Station Road in Kennesaw zero stars if I could. I took my daughter's car to do an oil change, and two things happened. First, I was told the battery needed to be replaced, though I later I took the car to Advance Auto Parts, Auto Zone and Firestone to get battery checked and all said the battery was in very good shape. Secondly, after returning from their shop, and starting the car next morning there were two warning lights that were turned on. I was driving in a panic mode, and was told that I would be charged $100 for diagnostics fee and that charge will not go toward repair. I didn't feel comfortable returning the car to my daughter with check engine lights on, so I later stopped by the shop to express my unhappiness why the warnings lights turned on right after oil change. I am 70 years old woman retired from a well respect profession, but I don't have not much automotive understanding. The store manger Jason asked me to have conversation outside because there was a customer inside the shop. Then he became rude to me and yelled at me to leave as he walked into office, saying he wanted to call the police. After reading the other reviews, I see this is not the first time they've called police due to customer complaints. They take advantage of elderly people and treat them with no respect. The manager Jason should control his temper. Threatening customers who complain about service is inappropriate. In the past, I also had an estimate with paid diagnostic fee to replace the catalytic converter from Kennesaw Auto Center. Before I went ahead with the repairs I decided to check around elsewhere. Yes, I had the catalytic converter replaced along with O2 sensor at a reputable shop and it cost much less than estimate from Kennesaw Auto center. Not only they are rude to customers, customers need to double check around for comparative repair prices before they can use them. read more

I had quite the problem with my wife's Chrysler 300c, after going to three other shops, having their "qualified" technicians do their "diagnosis" all within 2 min each. Jason Green and the guys in the shop took actually took time to look the car over and give it a true diagnosis. They more than kept me informed throughout the whole process, sent pictures, videos all while keeping my wife from losing her mind while her "Baby" was in someone else's hands. They finished the car in world class time, cause it was a huge job. The follow up after the fact just solidifies the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail this business provides. Although very pleasant to speak with, I won't be using them again. I took my car in for some diagnostic work and I had to pay $115 for them to check the charge and freon of the air conditioner. After they found nothing wrong with either of those items they called to tell me it would be $291 for them to continue to see if they could find out what was wrong with the air conditioner, and they didn't know if they'd have to charge labor to put it back together. I don't mind paying to have my vehicle repaired, but charge me to repair it not to do your job of finding out what is wrong with it. I explained the above to them and they quite frankly could have cared less. With the good reviews I've seen on them they must only be good with regular maintenance work because I paid $115 to bring my vehicle home not knowing what is wrong with it. :/ read more

I rarely write reviews for anything, but I was so happy with the service here that I wanted to give back. I had my A/C charged here last week, and their service was extremely pleasant both over the phone and in person. Also, they quoted me a price but when it came time to pay, they charged me about $20 LESS because they didn't use the whole lb of freon included in the quote! Also, I felt like they were being completely honest about the condition of my car and this is the first place I've ever taken my car to where I didn't feel like they were trying to upsell unnecessary things or take advantage of me just because I'm a woman. Excellent experience--can't be topped! I was visiting Kennesaw from Wash DC, for my daughter's wedding. While on I-285, I ran over a huge section of truck tire re-tread--which made a horrible sound. I decided to have my car put up on the lift and checked out. Jason, the manager, was very polite, and the waiting area was very clean. He had my car put up on the lift and a technician performed a 32 pt inspection--all at no charge! My car was fine, no damage. I highly recommend the Kennesaw Auto Center and wish there was a shop like this near my home in the DC area! read more

Awful experience. I was dropped off after my car being towed since it wouldn't start The minute I walked in, the man at the desk was unkind and uninterested. He let me know after doing a check that I needed a new battery and a new serpentine belt. The new battery would cost $90 plus $50 for labor to install it. WOW that's a RIP OFF. As far as the serpentine belt, this trick has been attempted on me before. They assume I don't know what a serpentine belt is (like any repair shop does) and tries to throw that in there for $160. Nope. Another rip off and lie--a friend's dad is a mechanic and looked at my belt 6 months earlier after being told the same thing at another shop--it's fine. Anyway, I decide that I'm going to have some friends pick up a battery at Autozone (for $60) and one of them can install the battery himself--it takes only 5 minutes. Meanwhile, I apologize to the man at the desk, since I can't afford the services. He stops me before I leave and rudely tells me that I owe money for the diagnostic check and estimate. I'm shocked, since MOST auto repair places don't (and SHOULDN'T) charge for an estimate. Worse, he tells me it's $50. I argue a small bit about this, since he didn't even tell me that I would be charged. Mind you, I'm a broke college student, so this is a big deal. I had over the money reluctantly and leave. The man was very rude and unsympathetic to me. I'm disappointed to find that yet again, another auto repair shop can't be trusted. read more
