I have used Massey for about six years. They have always been transparent on pricing and appear to be truthful about needed. Through observation while waiting, I have only wondered whether they possibly are recommending unnecessary repairs and service. It's a pleasure to find a business that knows what they're doing, and treats their customers with respect, all while being very fair in their pricing. Years ago, I worked as a line mechanic and then as Service manager at a Ford dealership, so I have experience in this type of business. This is the only shop that I recommend for your auto repairs. I have bought a number of art automobiles over the years here. This visit was just for a tire rotation: it was done while I waited. Always overpriced and will fix part of the problem but leave you having to come back and then charge you to fix another problem that they could've done the first time but now they get to charge you labor again, which is Double the price about the surrounding area. I don't care how precise the report on how bad my electrical problem is! I care that the problem is FIXED!! When I spend $2000 and it's not, I'm not happy! Once again I am blamed for a failed job!!? It was MY fault the FIRST attempt didn't work because I supplied the parts!? Ok! What about the SECOND fail when a light fell out!? Nobody EVER told me not to bring in parts I purchased!! I even ASKED the Massey staff if they wanted to get my parts and was told it didn't matter so I got them myself!! If I had been told to let them order them I would have! Tibor is the best! He used to work at the Car Clinic in Mountain View, CA, and he fixed my car after I drove from the Atlanta area to Mountain View, CA in 2011. I followed him to 76 In Los Altos, CA. Very competent. I wish that I had never left him for the dishonest dealership that took me for a ride. Tibor's rates were very reasonable, however, I went to the dealership because they kept me on a schedule and sent me reminders for maintenance (but then fleeced me). It's too bad that he left California for Georgia. California lost a great mechanic. Hungarian engineers like Andy Grove (Intel) have my greatest respect. read more

Broke two cars and failed to fix one. So far Massey has broken an oil filter housing on my Toyota Tacoma, after two separate attempts failed to perform a proper alignment on my Chevy Tahoe and after performing a differential fluid change on my Acura I had to get the entire differential replaced because it completely seized up. Massey took no responsibility for each issue and I had to get other shops to repair their mistakes. I would stay away from this place but especially if you own a Japanese or American made car. read more

We had occasion to try their services today for the first time, extremely helpful and efficient. While waiting I overheard the staff speaking to another customer and I was very impressed with how a staff member took the time to explain in detail what their inspection turned up and the options for a "quick" fix which probably wouldn't last long, or how to fix it correctly now, no high-pressure sales tactics. I was looking for an independent auto shop and Massey is very close to my workplace, so I gave them a shot. The front office staff comes off friendly and knowledgeable, and the shop is clean, but beyond that, I can't say much good about this place. The shop fee is high (not dealer high,but higher than most independents $110/hour I believe). Most independents in the area seem to be around $90/hr. In the few times I was there, I was presented with an up-sell every visit. Switch to full synthetic oil, your car has 60k miles. Brakes done? Your rotors look warped, we need to resurface them (yet there was no shimmy when I applied the brakes on the way there). Yet, my third visit took the cake. I brought the car in for an oil change, and the shop only drained the oil - THEY GAVE ME THE CAR BACK WITH NO NEW OIL! I added oil myself thinking they shorted me a bit - but it took 5 quarts to register correctly on the dipstick. Please, if you love your car, don't come to Massey. read more

These guys are honest and hold a high standard for auto repair. Whether it was a last minute emergency repair or a scheduled one, they were consistent, communicated well and my vehicles were treated well. My wife had to bring our rambunctious boys in while her car was being serviced and they took it in stride and connected with them too. This shop has been SO good to me. I have an old pickup & they have mechanics that still know carburetors. My truck's need for it's original carb delayed the repair so they gave me a loaner while it got rebuilt... and over the first few days they immediately made time to tweak the settings when I brought it in... they even gave me a follow up call to see how it's doing. Really nice people, knowledgable mechanics, fair prices - it's one of those rare shops that takes pride in their work. I'm a woman (who is also an armchair mechanic) - they treated me extremely well (no talking down or lies). This shop passes all my tests. Ladies should feel safe coming here. read more

We have been taking our three cars to Massey Automotive for *6 years* now because they not only do a great job keeping them running, they also take excellent care of their customers. We appreciate that they have never tried to sell us repairs that we felt were not needed. We used their car buying service to get a car for our daughter, which also went well. Just this week we noticed a nail in the tire of one of cars. We called them and even though they were closing in a few minutes, they told us to bring it over and stayed late to help. It turned out it couldn't be patched, so they put the spare on. They ordered a new one for us the next morning, called when it was ready, and had it on and us out of there in 15 minutes. read more
