I Scheduled an estimate with Poffs owner, clearly told him I want the collision work done asap but need to estimate the comp work. I Took off work to to get etimate, and the owner gets angry because he has to give an estimate for comp damage, which is what we scdheduled the appt for. He refused to deal with me, the owner, and wants to go through insurance company directly, and if I have to pay tons out of pocket, they don't care. Literally told me to go somewhere else its not worth it for him. Would be different if he didn't schedule an estimate with me, I told him exactly what I was looking for, only to have me come out and act 100% rude and offended that I needed an estimate. I don't understand how people know if they can afford comp work without an estimate. I guess this is customer service?

I went with Poff's on the recommendation of another mechanic I had called who didn't have body…read moreservice. I couldn't be happier that I chose this shop for the repair! Friendly and efficient with great results. My drivers-side door had been bent in the opposite direction. Hinges were twisted, the door and front quarter panel were both damaged, and, the part that keeps the door from flying open was snapped. After I had closed the door it would not even reopen. I had to crawl over the center console to get in and out. They immediately adjusted my door and did their best to straighten things out. Yes, it was still broken and looked horrible, but at least I could get in and out. It was fascinating to watch them work. It gave me confidence in the whole process. Once they were able to get parts and get rolling, the repair itself was completed quickly and the results were perfect. Everything looks and works like new! Very impressed. I hope I never need them again, but if I do I know who I'm going to call.

When I went to pick it up, the grill guard was laying in the back of the Jeep. They had taken the guard off, but not the brackets. The lady at the front desk tried to tell me that THE BRACKET MOUNTS came stock on the jeep. I explained to her that they absolutely were not stock and that they had come with the grill guard when I bought it. So that makes them part of it and I needed them in order to put the guard on the other jeep that I was getting. She tried going back-and-forth with me until one of the mechanics walked up and looked at her like she was crazy for arguing so much about it, then told her I was right. The guy took the car back and got the brackets off in about 10 minutes. Probably even less than that. All things considered, this place has terrible service and overcharges their customers. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else for similar services.

It's crazy the difference between. This business and another collision center that I dealt with a couple weeks prior. Unfortunately my wife and I had both of our cars damaged within weeks of each other. I made the mistake of going with another company even though I had been recommended to JD's. I have since learned my lesson and will never use any other business besides them. I have to admit I am a tough customer and when it came to the idea of having someone repair my 2024 Raptor R scared me. I didn't want some repair that people could look at and tell that something had happened. They out that worry to rest. I was blown away by their level of detail and they even had to order some additional parts because of damage that I couldn't see. They gave me timely updates and even got the truck back to me sooner than expected. The cherry on top was that it came back cleaner than when I dropped it off. I am not just saying they washed the truck (which they did). I am pretty sure they even vacuumed they truck and were able to get dog hair out that even I hadn't been able to get and I keep my truck showroom ready except for the floor mats. That's where they really took it a notch above. They cleaned my floor mats to where they looked brand new. I know that doesn't seem like much but it's the little things like that combined with the big things (exceptional repair) that make this team the best of the best. Thank you to everyone here for taking care of my baby. My wife says I love my truck more than her and while I am not saying that is true, they sure made the playing field pretty even. I was lucky and had insurance pay for all the repairs but if in the future, if I ever have to pay for repairs out of pocket the value they provide would far exceed any cost.

After getting a stupid quote from another repair place, we took my dads car to Car Cosmedics. Their quote was much more reasonable and since then we have had our BMW, Subaru and work truck all worked on for about 1/2 if what other people were quoting. The work is flawless and Chad rocks!
