So I had to make another appointment to bring it back and get another new windshield. This time it was solid, no leaking, however, their, recalibration machine broke. So another week has to go by and more time to go and take it in again. You can't make this stuff up. Three different times, two different windshields, and I'm not really sure how I feel about this establishment. I think they are overbooked, the workers are overworked, and undertrained. Would I get better service somewhere else? I'm not sure.

A friend of mine that owns two import car dealerships suggested I contact Extreme Audio. I called Extreme Audio inquiring if they would install the antenna. If so, how much would it be. I was told they could install it and it would take no more than an hour. I set up the appointment. The work was done quickly. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the bill was $66 and some change. I first looked at him like he had four heads. He then said I can charge you more but it took less than an hour, and that is how we do things. We don't over charge. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for your vehicle audio needs. They replaced the windshield on my 2024 Tesla Model 3 on August 11th, and the workmanship was dangerously negligent. They left the rearview mirror mounting screw completely missing and failed to install the special foam between the windshield and the humidity sensor, causing it to stop working. But the biggest and most dangerous issue is that they stripped the camera mounting screw, so the autopilot camera could not sit flat against the windshield. Because the camera was angled incorrectly, the car falsely thought it was entering a sharp turn and slammed on the brakes with "curve assist" engaged. I nearly got into an accident because of their incompetence. When I brought the car back to show them the physical damage and missing hardware, the manager completely refused to honor the warranty or fix their mistakes. Their excuse? They claimed the warranty was void because I ran the camera software calibration. What they ignore is that I have a timestamped screenshot proving the Autopilot system threw a critical error less than 15 minutes after I drove off their lot! The calibration reset immediately due to their physically crooked installation, and Tesla's own DIY manual explicitly states to run the software calibration when it resets. I have already spoken to their staff 2-3 times over the phone, and I have already visited this branch in person to show them the physical damage. During my in-person visit, the branch manager explicitly told me he would talk to the owner and call me back about 3 days ago. None of that happened--I received zero follow-up. It makes absolutely zero sense to void a physical hardware and workmanship warranty over a standard software function. I have entirely lost trust in this branch and refuse to let them touch my vehicle again. I am now forced to go to a Tesla Service Center to fix the stripped screws and missing hardware out of pocket. Avoid this place at all costs.
