After purchasing a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse I learned the shark fin antenna was bad due to there was no reception of satellite radio. I purchased a GM shark fin antenna through GM. I picked up the antenna at Hendricks Chevrolet. While there I inquired what would it cost to have it installed. I was informed it was a 3 hour job at their labor rate, somewhere between $400.00 to $500.00. I then contacted Strosnider Chevrolet. I was told it was a 2 hour job at their labor rate. A friend of mine that owns two import car dealerships suggested I contact Extreme Audio. I called Extreme Audio inquiring if they would install the antenna. If so, how much would it be. I was told they could install it and it would take no more than an hour. I set up the appointment. The work was done quickly. When I went to pick up my vehicle I was told the bill was $66 and some change. I first looked at him like he had four heads. He then said I can charge you more but it took less than an hour, and that is how we do things. We don't over charge. I highly recommend Extreme Audio for your vehicle audio needs. I did end up choosing the most expensive option based on the improvements I wanted to hear with my music. Easy to schedule the appointment for the install. Install was finished in a day. Well I just got my bike back, n it's been raining. But while riding home, I had so many 4 wheelers looking at me because they just put the best system I've heard on a bike yet. N I've heard plenty. I wasn't sure about the price, but after shopping around and listening to the people that work there is was a no brainer, they was gonna install it for me. I was blown away, it's really exceeded my expectations. If you've nva heard bike audio, go to the shop and listen to the one that's on display. Mine sounds better, n their display would of been plenty for me. I called to install an alarm system with the remote start they gave me a price of $150. When I call again to set up an appointment the guy told me A different price $189 instead of 150 I agree with the price when I got there to install the alarm the guy said oh the price is up because your alarm system it is with a remote start which I ask over the phone. I came here a while ago just by chance and talked to Mike, (quick story great result) he took the time to greet me when I walked in, got into tech talk but I actually understood it and I ended up letting him put HIDs on my car. That was a car ago, now I have a new one and I went to Best Buy, don't tell Mike and bought a crap load of stuff and scheduled an install on the other side of town because Best buy's lone installer is on paternity leave( congratulations guy but please train an apprentice, actually that is good job security I guess but horrible efficiency and customer service) but after all of that I bought the stuff, then it hit me... What about Mike at Extreme Audio? I called up Mike and he talked me through options and again took about 15-20 minutes on the phone to help me with options, oh yea he remembered me from my last job, like a year ago. So off of that conversation I returned all of the merchandise to Best Buy and just picked up my vehicle from Extreme Audio. They did great work and while I was there I realized that the work that I was going to let a shop down in Georgia do since my bike is there, makes me plan to bring my bike here now to get Extreme Audio to fabricate a system and give me a loud setup, trust me I will provide an update, thanks for the new radio and Navigation install guys. All Pros and no cons. I wanted to upgrade and update the system in my Tacoma, and Mike listened carefully to my wants and needs and gave me exactly what I was looking for with zero upselling or pressuring to buy more than was necessary. I'm well past the days of wanting to play music so loudly that it violates ordinances, so the aftermarket replacements of the factory components were perfect. They integrated the new touchscreen system into the dash probably better than Toyota could have done, and having Google maps on the display means the Garmin sucker cup releasing from the windshield every 30 minutes or so is a major improvement. Remote start installation on a Saturday. I dropped the truck off at 9am and asked if it could be done by 1215pm. They had it done by 1130. Later that night I noticed the dome lights were not functioning properly. I called and left a message after they were closed. Mike, the manager called me back within an hour and a half on a Saturday night to walk me through a solution. It turned out to be a blown fuse. Great service. Great product. I first discovered Mike and his staff 4 years ago when they installed Drone Mobile in my new car. I was tremendously impressed not only with their work but their outstanding customer service. I met them again about a year ago when I needed to update my Drone Mobile module. Same outstanding work and customer service. I just bought a new car and called them on the phone to discuss my options for removing Drone from my old car and installing in my new car. They spent a fair amount of time on the phone with me helping me to make the best and most inexpensive choice. A week ago, I took the new car in to have Drone installed. As before, the quality of work hasn't changed nor has their customer service. Mike has selected the absolute best staff who really care about the customer and go out of their way to be helpful. While waiting on the new installation, I watched one of his staff spend almost an hour talking to someone who was interested in an audio system with no promise of a purchase. That's how Mike and his entire staff are - knowlegeable, helpful, kind and patient. Waste of money! I spent $400 to get my car tinted, and you barely tell the car has tints on it! And they called mid job to add on additional cost that wasn't discussed during the initial estimate. I had other cars that I wanted to put tints on, but after this experience it soured me to the entire process. read more
