Don't take your car here. Literally go anywhere else! Took four times as long as I was told. They decided to add things to my repair to make it more profitable for them at my expense time wise. Told me two weeks and it to two months plus! Lied to weekly about its completion and was never given accurate info. Even the day I demanded my car back they were an hour late. The work they did was good but not worth the time and head ache. If you tell people two weeks you deliver in two weeks maybe three, not nine! Go anywhere else!!!! read more

They did me a solid in '14, so I went back. Seems a local dealer here wanted to scam me for over $3K on a part my car didn't even have. Gerber caught it, but it was a major deal all the way around. The gal at the front is very nice, but I wish they had a sign saying, "we'll be right with you" or "wait here", cuz she's by herself and if she's on the phone you stand there feeling like an intruder. The old shop had a friendlier feel to it. But, that being said, my new BFF, Mitch (the tech) did an amazing job checking in with me and letting me know what was going on. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received from start to finish! I visited the Muskegon, MI location on Sternberg. I received constant communication about the status of my car. My car was done earlier than anticipated so that was a bonus. The repairs seem to be flawless. They even cleaned front floor mats and the cargo area mat! I will use Gerber again in the future if I have the need and will highly recommend them! Thank you all for a job well done! The Gerber team was excellent! They have a great team that takes customer service seriously and I could not be happier with the treatment I received from them. From the initial estimate, to handling the rental car arrangements including transportation, and daily updates on progress of the repair they are always professional and very helpful. Unfortunately my car ended up being ruled as totaled . However they still provided excellent service and even a free loaner car with no charge despite the fact they did not get the business from the repair . Loaner cars are few and far between but If you plan ahead they may be able to help you out . Either way this is the place to go ! read more

Very disappointed in the games they play at this place. They started my repair without my knowledge and then billed my insurance directly. Conversations we had were conveniently forgotten by the manager, Jamie. They know how to play the insurance system and do so to maximize profits and screw the customer. $800 bill to fix what they estimated at $300 a day prior. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

Fabulous job of repairing our old classic Toyota. It looks "better than new!" The people there are very helpful and caring. Customer service is second to none. They call twice each week with updates on the progress toward repairing the vehicle. I can't say enough good things about them. I would never take my car anywhere else for collision repairs! This is the worst place to take your vehicle. They are scamming insurance companies and people. My truck was hit and so I took it in, they tried to convince me it was so rusted that they could not fix it without replacing the whole box, $5000 out of my pocket!!!!! So I got a second opinion, it's not so rusted it can't be fixed and is getting fixed at a different shop. In fact there was not much rust at all.
